I had a very pleasant stay at Bees Mouth. Great location right on the beach. This is THE right place if you want to relax at a simple budget quiet place, far from the noise in some busiest places like Senegambia. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable wooden cottage. Nice food served at the restaurant. We really feel at home. I strongly recommend it in Sanyang.
A lot of mosquitoes all around during this rainy season and so much sea grass on the beach. It was not so pleasant to have a bath in the ocean this time.
But I cannot blame Bees Mouth people for that, it is not their fault... 😅

It’s located right at the most beautiful beach we’ve been to in Gambia so far. Solomon is a great host and staff is very friendly, fun and competent. Everything is clean and maintained well.
We‘ve also had great breakfast: Both the veg omelet and beans were awesome. We also had (vegetarian) dinner twice, which was also delicious. And we became friends with the lovely dogs and cats.
Bed was also super comfortable.
There’s a creek and still water nearby, so there are mosquitoes in this whole area even in dry season. Solomon offered a mosquito net but we‘ve had our own.
