Situated in Poipu, this lovely house for $1,310 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Whether you’re traveling with a large family or group of friends, Hale Hapuna is the perfect choice. It offers the ideal setting with approximately 5,000 square feet to spread out. Extra spacious living areas offer plenty of room to relax and enjoy each other’s company. Roomy, air conditioned bedroom suites offer the perfect end to a perfect island style day. The chef(s) in your group will greatly appreciate the well equipped kitchen. They may even want to venture out to one of our Farmer’s Markets for some fresh local produce to include in one of their tropical culinary creations. Enjoy the tropical breezes and fragrant scents from the multiple seating and dining areas on the expansive, wrap around lanai that offers panoramic ocean, mountain and coastline views. Feel like you are on top of the world as this home is located at the highest point in Poipu on the top rim of an extinct crater that overlooks the Poipu Resort area. Although it may be difficult to leave this lovely home for more than hour, you are within walking distance to 3 of Kauai’s finest beaches: Shipwreck Beach to the East (best for experienced swimmers and surfers), Brennecke Beach and Poipu Beach Park to the West. 4 bedroom main home bedrooms are located on the first floor of the two story home. Second floor of main home is kitchen, dining room, living room and large wrap around lanai on north west facing portion. Additional two bedrooms is located in the fully equipped 1,000 square foot guest cottage (Ohana unit as we say on Kauai), offering accommodations for an additional 4 guests. Located directly behind Hale Hapuna, this cottage is included in the 6 bedroom rate. AC is ONLY in bedrooms in the Main House, there is NO AC in the cottage. Please inquire for further details. It is also possible to just rent the main 4 bedroom home! Please inquire for details and pricing. Amenities include: 2 private outdoor showers, WiFi, BBQ, Washer & Dryer and Air Conditioning in the main home bedrooms only. No AC in the guest home. 4 Kings, 5 Fulls, 2 Twins This property includes beach chairs, beach towels, a cooler and umbrella. Our extended family had a wonderful vacation at this house. Stunning views of the surrounding mountains and ocean. Plenty of space for all to gather for meals and relaxing. Convenient to nearby beaches with plenty of beach chairs, toys, etc. and even a wagon to tow them in. Hated to leave!

There were 12 of us staying in this spacious house! Two bedrooms in the carriage house and four bedrooms in the main house. The best part is: every bedroom has its own attached bathroom! The top floor is an open floor plan with huge seating areas and the most beautiful lanai! There’s a nice walking path down to Poipu Beach with turtles, monk seals and the best hot dog stand ever! It’s also really close to a couple beaches that are perfect for babies and toddlers. I had excellent text communication with the property managers, who were always very timely and helpful.

Came for a wedding and 15 of us stayed here. It was amazing. Everything they said it would be and more. For multiple families, it is perfect because every room has its own bathroom plus a bathroom upstairs for common area. View from the deck is mountains and the ocean. Location to Poipu beach was awesome!

My family absolutely loved staying at Hale Hapuna! It was centrally located, so that we could take a leisurely walk to Poipu Beach. The home was very spacious, and we appreciated that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Mostly, though, we loved taking in the view and island breezes from the second floor!

We had a great family vacation for our group of 9. This is our second time staying at Hale Hapuna. The first time was for our group of 6 adults and collectively, we have since added three kids, ages 6, 8, and 12. Hale Hapuna is the perfect vacation home with enough room for everyone. It's walking distance to the beaches and a few minutes drive to shops. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend!

The house is very well outfitted and maintained, and the property management folks checked in with us regularly to make sure we had what we needed. Beautiful house on the island with so much space and a great spot for our family and friends vacation. Overall, it was exactly what was in the listing except one bedroom was shown to have three beds, but instead only had two. We ended up not needing it, but it was misleading.
Really appreciated the thorough instructions in the house and the communication from the property management. Would definitely stay again and would recommend this house. It’s STUNNING!

We had an amazing stay at the house! It was a huge house with beautiful views and cool breezes on the Lanai. There were plenty of beach towels/ chairs, and the kitchen was fully packed with essentials. Weather was a little warm, so wish there was AC in the guest cottage but aside from that, the house was prefect for our family reunion. Great location close to beach. Would definitely stay there again. Host/ Management was very responsive!

I rented this as a surprise birthday present for my wife and invited 8 friends to stay with us. The home itself was beautiful, the solo rooms were luxurious and the larger rooms had plenty of room for lots of people and each had their own bathroom. The house was very clean and comfortable with plenty of space and seating. It was even nicer than I was expecting and the view was unreal. Photos don’t do it justice, the view was breathtaking. Amazing ocean views but the mountains we impossible to take your eyes off. The weather rolling in and out and the different shades of green were electric. There is absolutely nothing blocking your view and the third story wrap around lanai gives you lots of perspectives. You could honestly never leave the place and have a beautiful trip. The walk to Poipu beach was about 10 minutes straight down the hill. There were lots of beach supplies at the house too including chairs and umbrellas. It was everything we needed and more. We all talked about coming back in future years as our families grow. There is no other place I would rather stay.

The Hale Hapuna was just perfect for our family. It was so spacious, with the many comfortable chairs, sofas, family room, etc. Loved the large dining table. The kitchen was so well stocked with whatever needed for preparation of meals. The view from the deck was absolutely gorgeous... the beautiful, lush mountains and the evening sunset. I am originally from Kauai, and I had forgotten this beauty! Enjoyed it every day. There were only 2 things that needed repair. I was impressed with the immediate response in correcting problem. This house is amazing for a large group of people. We pretty much lived on the porch so we could enjoy the wonderful view. The house is well lived in. There were some things throughout the house in disrepair but nothing that impacted our enjoyment of the space and the rental company was super responsive.

The house is great for a group, with bedrooms below and a spacious common area above. We spent a lot of time on the deep covered deck which has beautiful views, plentiful seating and tables and shady spots. It is walking distance to Brennecke's beach and Poipu Beach. Our teenagers could watch TV without disturbing others on the deck or at the other couch seating area. The dining table easily held all 11 people in our group. It was a great location!

Our group of 15 family members enjoyed our stay. The family room and dining room were perfect for family gatherings and the upper wrap around deck had gorgeous views for all to enjoy! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare and serve meals and dual dishwashers came in handy! Having lawn chairs, snorkel gear and beach towels provided was a nice convenience and the grandkids had a blast playing ping pong games! The sofa cushions throughout the home and on the deck lounge chairs could use refreshing would be my only suggestion for improvement.

House has beautiful 180 degree views and is perfect for large groups. The house has plenty of kitchen items,plates, utensils, cups etc. 2 dishwashers was sooo handy. All bedrooms are on the 2nd floor,then you go upstairs to the great room, which is amazing, kitchen, tv room, dining room and living room is expansive with views from everywhere. Room for everyone to spread out. One of the best houses we've rented.

3 families, 13 people aged 15 and up had an absolutely wonderful vacation. We cooked almost all our meals, spent lots of time on the deck playing cards and enjoying the view, walked to nearby beaches daily. A stunningly beautiful house in a fabulous location.My only criticisms: stove top and pans are not great (but there's an electric counter-top griddle that works very well). Oven and BBQ are great. The furniture upholstery is a bit aged and stained, but overall the house was very clean and well maintained.

Hale Hapuna was perfect for our extended family of 16. The views are even more spectacular than the photographs! When we were not at the beach or exploring, we spent most of our time on the wraparound deck. If we had an issue (nothing major), the management company was very responsive. It seemed like they always answered my texts within minutes. I would highly recommend this property and Garden Island Rentals.
