About this house rental
Beautiful apartment in a semi-detached house created by the complete renovation of a historic watchtower. Private, equipped outdoor area on a fully fenced plot of about 2 hectares. Quiet location with beautiful views of the surrounding hills dotted with castles and ancient hamlets. Billiard room. A good starting point for exploring the Umbrian countryside, tasting the wines in the nearby cellars, savouring traditional Umbrian dishes in characteristic restaurants or spending a day in the Nera River Nature Park, an oasis of deep peace, and admiring the natural spectacle of the Marmore waterfall. In Spoleto (37 km), the Festival dei Due Mondi (classical music) takes place every year in July. The region's excellent truffle dishes are also highly recommended. Distances: 4 km Dunarobba (unique fossil forest in Europe), 20 km Todi, 40 km Orvieto, 60 km Perugia, 67 km Assisi. The double rooms have an additional 3rd bed in an open loft (max. height 1.70 m). The ground floor apartment is occasionally used by the owners for customer service on arrival.
