The location was perfect for a quiet retreat away. Accommodation was comfortable and well suited to our needs.We would stay there again. The weather had been rainy so we unfortunately we weren't able to use the lovely garden.

Lovely cottage beautifully decorated and garden. Loved the eggs and breakfast supplies. Peaceful garden by river. Great location to explore area.

I nice selection of food left in the fridge and counter for breakfast plus tea and coffee making facilities. Plenty of toiletries in bathroom and shower. All clean and comfortable

Very steep and narrow access stairs not suitable for anyone with mobility problems. Slow and tempremental WiFi, not good if you are trying to work as I was. Only a small unstable table to work at.

River Run is a beautiful and quirky little apartment situated in the heart of Sennybridge. It has everything you need for a really enjoyable stay and the hostess is an absolute star. We were lucky enough to be able to spend a few evenings in the garden which is a lovely quite natural and very quite space. The only thing I would say is to mind your head going in and out of the bedroom. I had a few bumps through the week, but it was worth it. The near by pubs are great value and the food at the Abarcamlais arms is good quality, amazing value and very generous portions. Neville, the landlord of the Red Lion is also a truly lovely guy so pop in and give him a visit of you get the chance. The local londis at the garage does a range of "Cook" meals which are fantastic and a great value alternative to eating out. The bus into Brecon costs just £2.20 each way and takes around 20 minutes. There is so much to do around the area it's simply a joy. If you haven't done the Brecon Beacons yet don't miss out. It's like Cornwall, Devon, the lake District, Yorkshire and Derbyshire all in one place. Take a boat trip on the canal from Crickhowell, explore the castles (we highly recommend Raglan), tale the Steam train from Merthyr and walk back via the reservoirs, and definitely visit the big pit. A brilliant week at a brilliant spot... Oh the Brecon Jazz festival is absolutely amazing as well if you get the chance to hit the right dates. It's more a music celebration and beer festival to be truthful. My wife and I cannot recommend River Run and the Brecon area enough. Simply a fabulous week.

Loved pretty much everything. Just be careful of your head on the low beam going in and out of the bedroom.
