This quiet apartment can be reached by elevator and is fully equipped. Very nice and comfortable sofa bed with spring mattress, television with TV cable, radio CD player, iron and ironing board, functional kitchen with 2 ceramic hobs ... Landlord on site.

Overall, it was a decent price for a small 1-bedroom efficiency apartment in downtown Charlottenburg, Berlin. The place had excellent access to nearby groceries, markets, cafes, and U-Bahn and bus travel. It is a small room where the sofa transforms into a bed. The flat itself has no wifi and windows only on one side of the room, so air filtration is a bit tough. The access to recycling and trash was very easy.The flat is pretty clean, but the rest of the building was not always clean or quiet. Everything in the flat that I used worked fine - the heating, the electricity, microwave, kettle, sinks, toilet, shower. I never used the TV or CD player in the flat. The building seemed pretty safe but there was also tons of construction going on during the few months i stayed there, so often it would be very loud in the mornings. Not to worry, Berlin itself has tons to do and you won't be far from a park to walk to or a cafe to work at. For the building, the elevator was frequently broken, usually once a month. be prepared if you have heavy bags or have mobility issues.Communication was pretty good, and I was able to get the Mietvertrag paperwork with little problem, even though I never met the owner herself.

The apartment was very clean, perfectly located in a very lively area. We stayed there for over 2 months and felt very comfortable. It has everything you need and the owner is always available and communicates well. Thank you very much !
