Really good communication with Vincent and would definitely stay again. To be honest my only issue was we had two adult boys on the sofa bed and it naturally wasn’t the most comfortable- if you had smaller children wouldn’t matter at all and it’s hard to get good places for five so the advantages definitely outweighed that. Lovely place and would highly recommend.

Breathtaking view! This apartment was modern and comfortable and just as portrayed online, especially the view. The booking process was very professional and my daughter and I had no troubles finding the apartment and getting settled in. The host was very interactive and made sure we were greeted and taken care of. They even changed check in and check out times to correspond to our airport tickets.

As all of the previous reviews state, this apartment is a true gem to stay at and explore the beauty of Budapest. This was our first city of three for our European tour and it was the best to truly explore and experience with our teenagers. The photos are true to what you will walk into once you arrive. Modern amenities with old world charm architecture. The apartment balcony gives you a nice oasis to watch the river and Buda side of the city. Being minutes from the Parliament and metro, it is super easy to get around the city and take in all the sights. I agree with the previous renter, Bubo is a great cafe for breakfast and lunch. Vincent provides a very detailed book on all the of the amenities and other suggestions of places to try. With so many things so close to the apartment you can easily experience all of Budapest with just a couple of days. Vincent and his team are excellent with their communication both before and during your stay. Truly cannot say enough positive things about this experience. If you have thought about visiting Budapest, do it and stay at this location.

The first week of November we were lucky enough to be able to visit the wonderful city of Budapest.
The city is spectacular, but the best thing about our stay was without a doubt this apartment.
Being able to fall asleep watching the city of Buda from the Danube from your bed is priceless.
It is an apartment in an old building with all the flavor of Budapest, but absolutely renovated and modern with exquisite taste. No detail was missing and it was perfect and cozy for the whole family. Due to a mistake when making the reservation, my husband and I forgot to mention that our 3 children were also coming, so the house had been prepared just for the two of us, but that was no problem for Nikki, who immediately organized everything very kindly and in a few minutes we were able to install all five.
The welcome was fantastic and so was the communication with Vincent. They were very friendly and the house was immaculate. Five stars because there are no six.

Before booking this apartment I was concerned as my son would be 8 months old at the time of the holiday.
An email to the property owner Vincent and within a couple of replies my mind was completely at rest. Not only would there be a travel cot available and already assembled but a high chair too.
The apartment itself is a very small walk away from both the Hungarian parliament building and the shoes on the Danube. The apartment itself overlooks the Danube and in the distance you can see all of the major landmarks on the Budacastle side. At night this view becomes even more spectacular.
In the morning we would get breakfast from an amazing little cafe North of the apartment called Bubo and that would set us up for the day.
Overall I don’t think the you could get a better place to start off your Budapest adventure, to the north you have Margaret Island Lumin Park (amazing at night for young children) to the East you have Heroes Square and the museums, to the South you have the Hungarian Parliament building and St Stephen’s Basillica and to the West you have Buda Castle and Fisherman’s Bastion just over the river.
Prior to going if you’re going with small children I’d recommend everyone to download the Taxi app Bolt. It’s an amazing app and taxis are all over Budapest the longest ever wait we had was 6 mins and if you fancy eating in one night the food app Wolt is brilliant.

This is a great property to explore Budapest from. We spent a week here, using the terrace and kitchen extensively. The view is even more dramatic than photos suggest, and the kitchen really well supplied with quality cookware and appliances. It made meal prep fun. As other reviewers say, good stores and transportation nearby and really clean. Vincent was a great host, very communicative and principled about providing a quality experience all the way around. He provided a 40+ hard back page guide book how everything works in the apartment as well as getting around the city and restaurants to try, etc. The guide book was golden … as was our stay. Undeniably 5 Stars!

Vincent generously upgraded us to another property he has when he learned that construction was going to obstruct our views at the property we booked. We enjoyed the penthouse very much and the views were great. Location was very good as well.

Vincent was an incredible host from the moment we arrived in Budapest. Communication was prompt and professional. We arrived late and he arranged someone to meet us at the apartment to ease the check in process. The apartment itself is modern and stunning. We only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy more coffee mornings and wine evenings on the incredible balcony!

The apartment was wonderful. It had all the amenities offered and perfectly met our needs. The location could not have been better with easy access to public transportation at the front door. Restaurants and shopping were a few steps away. The host Vincent was wonderful to work with and Blanca made the check in and check out process seamless, fast and simple.
Now for the good part THE TERRACE LOOKING OVER THE DANUBE WAS AMAZING.

Plenty of space. Great kitchen, appliances, bathrooms. Comfortable beds. Plenty of space for 5 people. Hosts were great - very helpful. Careful with parking on street - the city will ticket you within minutes if you haven’t paid. Awesome location to walk to basically everything in the city. The views are even better in person than in the pictures.

We walked almost everywhere!! Quiet, safe, clean neighborhood with wonderful coffee shop right next door. Appreciated host's restaurant recommendations. Good and easy check in and out. Arriving at this property after 36 hours of travel was amazing. The view alone would have revived the most flagging spirits, but the whole property is just lovely. We had a fantastic time here, adding to our experience of Budapest. There were a couple of appliances that needed fixing during our time but the hosts attended to these promptly and respectfully. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay. Location is perfect and communication was very good. Apartment is even larger than it looks, our 16 year old was thrilled to have his own bedroom and bath. This apartment is beautiful! We were able to walk to almost every place on our list. When we did take public transportation, the tram stopped almost right outside the door.
We spent most of our time exploring the city but when we were at the apartment we were outside on the balcony enjoying the amazing view of the city. We were lucky enough to catch an unforgettable fireworks show on our last night! Check in / check out was a breeze. I highly recommend this property for a wonderful and worry free experience.

This stay exceeded our expectations! We went to a few rooftop bars, but the view from this place was so much better. The bed is super comfy! Also it is in a great neighborhood with great shops and restaurants, plus getting around from this location was superb. Close to downtown without the noise and crowds of downtown. Easy to get to Buda side actually getting to everywhere was easy. BTW there is an elevator so it make getting to the 5th floor great. Also during check in, the sweet girl Temi, explained how everything worked in the apartment, and Vincent went above and beyond with everything in the apartment. We are definitely coming back. We just loved our stay.

I stayed here with my partner for a long weekend and it was the perfect place for us. The check in process was so easy and being allowed to drop off luggage early in the day when we arrived, was so handy! The location is fantastic, being so close to Parliament was so easy with a very short walk into the centre. The winning factor though was definitely the view - absolutely beautiful throughout every hour of the day! We will definitely be back at some point soon!

This was our 4th stay in this fabulous apartment (see previous reviews). We had a lovely Christmas staying here, visiting our ballet dancer son. The Christmas tree was a lovely touch. We visit about 5 times a year from the UK and I already have 3 more bookings this year in one of Vincent’s apartments. It’s a great place to stay in the Winter as the apartment and duvets are so warm. We will never tire of the amazing view from the bedroom/balcony. I almost didn’t write a review as I want to keep it a secret. Thank you to Vincent and the BBLA team.

The communication from beginning to end was absolutely perfect, which is so important when traveling to another country. The highlight for us was the view and ease to take public transportation. This is a lovely apartment with a fabulous view of the the Danube. The apartment was quiet at night despite being central for exploring Budapest. We walked and also took advantage of the tram network which stopped very close to the apartment. The check in and check out was smooth and we could check in and out close to our flight times which was great. We would highly recommend staying here.
