A comfortable, stylish and relaxed boutique-style hotel offering a pleasant international-standard mid-range experience, with a resort-like atmosphere and good value.
If you're asking me to answer this as a review based on international hotel standards, I'd say:
Yes, but only partially.
12th Avenue meets expectations for a comfortable mid-range/boutique-style hotel: the atmosphere, space, outdoor areas, pool, location and general comfort are consistent with what I would expect from that segment.
However, if my expectation were an international 4–5-star luxury experience, it would fall short in areas such as:
consistency of room maintenance
sophistication of interiors and finishes
personalized service
premium dining
breadth of luxury amenities
attention to small details
Overall: It meets expectations for what it is designed to be, but I would not expect a five-star luxury experience from it.

It was quiet, neat, clean and easily accessible.
Everything was nice, well maintained and staff was really nice as well

The staff was excellent - very courteous, helpful, and understanding. The greenery in the courtyard was very pleasant. Cozy bed.
The property is seriously in need of thorough cleaning, fixing and repair. Pool and pool area were dirty. Lots of mosquitoes in the room and the lounge. The first room we went to the window locks had broken. Peeling paints, and walls in the second one we moved to. TVs did not work. Overall very sad experience, because it looked like a nice, and attractively quaint property.
