Awful, just awful.
I did not like anything about this place. The only good thing was that we had booked only one night before a week’s booking at La Gypaète. We left as quickly as possible and spent a nice week in la Gypaète.
From the minute I booked I was harassed for payment, even though I had already entered my card details on booking.com which guaranteed their payment. I received over 20 emails about additional charges and demands for payment. Three days after booking I was called at work and told if I did not pay my booking would be cancelled. I explained that I had already entered payment details on booking.com but they insisted I pay separately. Having booked hundreds of holidays with booking.com I have never been asked to pay in this way. I did so as it was too late to change the booking. I thought it was over, but when driving up I received another call saying I had to take a picture of my credit card and send it to them or they would not give me the key code. I did not want to send my personal details but again, they left me with no choice. I am very unhappy that they hold my personal details.
On arrival the place was not easy to find. The room stank of smoke and had only a cursory clean. There was ingrained dirt everywhere. Ironic when we were charged a 45 euros for cleaning for a one night stay. We left the place cleaner than when we arrived having made extensive use of anti-bacterial spray.
The furniture was scuffed and some broken. Exposed wires dangled dangerously from the tv. The bathroom smelt awful.
Luckily we had brought our own bedding as the beds were horrible. We didn’t want to touch them. We went out for dinner and touched as little as possible in the apartment, and left early the next morning.

Good
We visited in summer for the tour de france. The location was great and was close to a supermarket and shops. There was lots of parking in town. Check in and out was very easy. The room was basic but had everything we needed.

Wifi didnt work for the whole time we were there and curtains need to be fixed on the windows to block out the light but very clean, excellent value and location
