3 stars Apartment TYP K: Old Captain 's House 2. Floor for 4-6 persons. The idyllic Baltic Sea resort Laboe (about 5500 inhabitants) is picturesque at the exit of the Kiel Fjord on the eastern bank. The former fishing village has developed into a popular holiday resort and seaside resort. Laboe is an ancient place and was mentioned for the first time in 1240. The name Laboe derives from the Slavic "Lubodne", which means "Schwanenort". And even today, the Swan is Labo's beast. The long, fine sandy beach falls very flat to the fjord, so it is especially recommended for families with small children. Directly on the beach promenade is the adventure pool. With the Kiel Fjord, one of the most frequented waterways in the world, in front of the doorstep, the "Strandleben" offers a special attraction also for "Sehleute", which can observe the ships passing by extensively. The panorama of Laboe is surmounted by the world-famous 85 m high naval monument. In this memorial is reminded of the fates of all the people who remained at sea and is to commemorate a peaceful sea voyage on the open seas. From above, the visitor has a wonderful view over the fjord and the Baltic Sea. At the foot of the memorial has been the submarine U 995 for several years as a technical museum. The Kinofilm "Das Boot" plays on a submarine, which belongs as well as U 995 of the famous class VII C. A visit to U995 provides an impressive insight into the indescribable narrowness of the submarine men. The Kiel Fjord is known as the Kielmekka ("Kieler Woche"). In the immediate vicinity lie the Danish islands Langeland and Aero, the so-called "Danish South Sea". In Labo Marina, exhausted sailors find rest and relaxation.

Zuhause ist da, wo immer Wind um die Nase weht.
Es war wirklich toll mal wieder nach 2 Jahren an der Küste zu sein. Eine Woche ohne eine Wolke am Himmel einfach mal die Seele baumeln lassen. Wir kommen wieder.

Die Wohnung entsprach den Fotos aus dem Internet,über Bewertungen wussten wir von der sehr steilen Treppe,so daß wir darauf eingestellt waren.Alles war sauber und sehr gemütlich und sehr gut ausgestattet.

Wir haben schon verschiedene Wohnungen im Kapitänshaus und auch in anderenHäusern in Laboe gemietet. Das Apartment 16 haben wir gemietet, weil wir mit 3 Kindern eine größere Wohung gebraucht haben.
Vorteile der Wohnung 16:
Betten für 5-6 Personen, sehr schöner Balkon, Tiefgaragenplatz, sehr ruhig, sofortige Erledigung / Behebung von Problemen, Waschmaschine und Trockner im Keller..
Das könnte besser sein:
Der Raum im Obergeschoss ist akustisch nicht abzutrennen. Falls man unten spricht oder fernsieht, stört das die Kinder, die oben schlafen (sollen). Das Bad ist relativ klein. Es gibt keinen separaten Platz für sden Staubsauger, Besen, etc.
Für das nächste Jahr haben wir wieder das Kapitänshaus gebucht, diesmal eine größeres Wohnung.
