Located in Stari Grad, this attractive house for $130 per night is a great option for your next vacation. The house has the perfect location in the middle of the picturesque old town, in a quiet cul de sac only once around the corner to the worth seeing Piazza Skor and 50m to the sea. Everything is in walking distance in Stari Grad. All districts are easy to reach even with strollers, because the place is fairly flat. In 1-3 minutes you can find several shops as well as cafes, restaurants, etc. Several free parking spaces are reachable within a 3-minute walk. Nice beaches are in 15-20 min. pleasant walking along the coast, accessible on every bay side. The house has a garden inviting to eat and in the airy shade of a mandarin tree to relax. The stone walls keep the cool air in the house and garden, while outside, on the street, in summer can be very hot. On the ground floor is the fully equipped kitchen and satellite TV. 4 bikes and the washing machine are also available to guests free of charge. On the first floor there is a twin room with a large terrace and shower and toilet. It is possible to place the beds separately or together. On the second floor there is a double bedroom with balcony and also with own shower and toilet. The house offers a lot of space for single use. This Stari Grad property/experience was 10/10! Karolina and Gordan are so helpful and even helped us with transportation to/from the ferry (although it is very walkable!) The property LOCATION is prime, just off the main "old town" square and walkable to everything Stari Grad has to offer! The property is adorable with two stories of terraces and your own lemon tree and lavender growing right on the terraces! It can easily accommodate 4 adults, great sleeping and eating areas. Bikes on property were perfect to cruise around Stari Grad. Easy bus/taxi ride to Hvar City but honestly, Stari Grad is the perfect destination! Don't hesitate to book this property, we will be coming back!

Toller Aufenthalt in Stargrad !
Die Lage ist genial: alles Wichtige und Schöne erreicht man in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß. Es ist ein authentisches altes Haus mitten in der Altstadt; sehr gepflegt und gut in Schuss. Jedes der beiden Schlafzimmer hat ein eigenes Bad. Betten und Schränke wertige Holzmöbel, Matratzen und Bettzeug, Handtücher einwandfrei. Die beiden Terrassen und der kleine Balkon ermöglichen es, zu jeder Tageszeit im kühlen Schatten/in der Sonne zu sitzen, wie man es möchte.
W-Lan, Klimaanlage, Fernseher, Wasch- und Spülmaschine funktionieren voll. Die Küche ist echt super ausgestattet. Alles da, was man brauchen könnte und genügend Gläser und Geschirr bis die Spülmaschine voll ist. Auch das mit Liebe und Geschmack ausgesucht.
Bei der Ankunft war alles picobello. Übergabe problemlos und Kommunikation immer schnell und informativ. Viele nützliche Tipps vom Gastgeber.
Dazu die Räder, die es uns ermöglichten viele Strände und Sehenwürdigkeiten zu erreichen.
Karolina und Gordan sind tolle Gastgeber.

We loved this rental in Stari Grad
Best rental we had in Croatia. Stari Grad was our favorite place we visited in Croatia and this rental worked so well for us. It would work well for a family or two couples too. Main floor has a spacious kitchen and large table (much bigger than usual for Croatia). Great courtyard outside the kitchen to hang out and have meals. Very quiet. Also has an enclosed space that stores 4 bikes and laundry. Second floor has spacious bedroom and bathroom and terrace. Third floor has second bedroom, bathroom and terrace. I believe all beds are two twins pushed together, so changes can be made there. Location is very quiet yet right as you get to the main part of town. We had a mix up with our rental car so didn’t have one but found we didn’t need one in Stari Grad. Lovely town that was beautiful and much quieter than busy Hvar Town….just what we like. Plenty of old town to wander through. Main road along water ends in paved path that goes to a couple great swimming spots and eventually the ferry we took to Split when we left. (We walked with our baggage, which wasn’t too long, but not great for everyone.) Great meal at Antika, best pizza ever at Mola Podloza. There was an olive oil store right next to the pizza place….they gave us some to try with our meal and it was amazing. Go taste test and buy!

Wunderbarer Urlaub in traumhafter Umgebung
Frühstück unter dem Zitronenbaum im geschmackvoll renovierten Innenhof, bereitgestellte Fahrräder, mit der die Gegend wunderbar erkundet werden kann, eine Küche der es an nichts fehlt, Crash Ice inclusive. Ein Ort, Stari Grad, dem es ebenfalls an nichts fehlt, der aber viel von seiner Ursprünglichkeit bewahrt hat, ein Teil der Umgebung gehört ja zum UNESCO Weltkulturerbe. Jelsa, Vrboska (mit dem Fahrrad), Hvar (mit dem Auto) sind nicht weit. Das türkisblaue Meer ist sowieso ein Gedicht. Wir durften wunderbare entspannte 2 Wochen verbringen.

Als vierköpfige Familie haben wir zwei wunderschöne Wochen auf Hvar verbracht und in der Altstadt (sic!) von Stari Grad gewohnt. Besser hätte es für uns nicht sein können, bestens angebunden, malerisch, komfortabel und doch ganz authentisch in Herzen des 2.500-Einwohner-Ortes gelegen. Nicht nur die Versorgung mit Lebensmitteln und Dingen des täglichen Bedarfs war klasse, es gab auch verschiedenste Restaurants mit guter Küche und natürlich frischen Meerestieren in naher Umgebung. Für kleinere Inselexkursionen verfügt die Unterkunft über Fahrräder, die wir gerne genutzt haben, um die wenig besuchten Buchten im Norden der Insel zu erreichen.
Unsere Vermieter Karolina und Gordan, die sich zufällig Vorort waren und fließend deutsch sprechen, haben sich vorbildlich gekümmert, wenn Hilfe notwendig war. Wir können die Unterkunft wärmstens weiter empfehlen.

Lejligheden som er i 3 plan har en hyggelig atmosfære og indeholder alt hvad man har behov for - Dertil kommer en dejlige gårdhave og 2 terrasse.
I lejligheden er der 4 cykler til fri afbenyttelse.
Værter Kaolina og Gordan var meget venlige og stod til rådighed efter behov.
Vi var meget taknemmelige for, at Gordan var så venlig at kører os og vores bagage til færgen da vi skulle afrejse.
Vi kan varmt anbefale denne lejlighed til alle.

Fantastic stay
Everything was perfect! The position of the accommodation into the beautiful village of Stars Grad, nothing was missing in the house, it was very well maintained. The air conditioning saved us in the main room! We truly advise this nice place to stay for a family.

Clean, cool, spacious house with 3 stunning terraces. The bikes made our holiday so much more enjoyable. Well equipped with all you need and more. Lovely helpful owners. One of our best holidays. Would definitely recommend to all. Charming church bells did not disturb us!

Great location, well equipped and clean
Had a fabulous week here - the location is great with a couple of supermarkets, lots of restaurants and cafes, bus stops within very easy reach to Hvar one way and Jelsa the other. A real bonus was the bikes - really comfortable and easy paths around the harbour to a variety of beaches. So much room in the house - we loved the kitchen and the courtyard. Air con in the twin room would have been a bonus but the large fan made the room bearable in the heat of July. Overall highly recommend.

Cannot Wait to Come Back
I booked the property from the 10th to the 27th May based entirely on the description supplied. Well, it met every expectation, and more. The property is conveniently situated just off the square at the head of the Stari Grad bay, and is within walking distance of all that Stari Grad has to offer.
Whilst we cycled most days to one of the beaches to take up the glorious sunshine, we usually returned each afternoon to relax on the first floor terrace and watch the sunset whilst listening to the church bells. A brilliant, relaxing holiday, and, were it not for another family commitment, I would certainly be back in 2019.
Of the two minor problems we encountered (unable to unlock the external door on returning late one night - and I mean late, and failure of the combination lock on one of the bicycle locks), on contacting Gordan both problems were resolved with the minimum amount of fuss and delay. Thanks to both Gordan and Karolina for the use of their beautiful property. Highly recommended for comfort and convenience.

Lovely, quiet apartment in the middle of Stari Grad
We stayed in this three story apartment for two nights and loved the courtyard, windows that opened to the sky, and access to bakeries, coffee shops, lovely people. The house is immaculate and simple - kitchen on the first floor, bedroom and bath on the second floor, bedroom and bath on the third floor. Perfect for traveling companions that appreciate space. The walls are solid stone so it is very quiet, perfect for light sleepers. Only about 10 minutes from Hvar car ferry. Lovely hosts.

Wunderschönes kleines Stadthaus, zentral in Altstadt und Hafennähe gelegen
Wir haben eine Woche im August in dem Ferienhaus verbracht und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Das Haus hat neben einer Dachterrasse im 1.OG zwei kleine Innenhöfe mit schöner Bepflanzung und zwei schattenspendenden Zitronenbäumen, so dass man es dort auch in den warmen Mittagsstunden aushalten kann.
Insgesamt ist das Haus gut ausgestattet. Von einer Waschküche über einen großen Kühlschrank mit Eiswürfelfunktion bis hin zu einem guten Messer/ allg. Gebrauchsgegenstände in der Küche (wir kochen gern :-))
Dank Flugverspätung konnten wir die Abendfähre nicht mehr erreichen und mussten auf die Nachtfähre um 01:30 warten, so dass wir erst gegen 04:00 in Stari Grad waren. Unser Vermieter war telefonisch sofort zu erreichen und führte uns zur Ferienwohnung.
Insgesamt war es ein toller Aufenthalt und wir haben es im Nachhinein ein wenig bedauert, dass wir nur eine Woche auf Hvar gebaucht hatten.
Wir empfehlen das Ferienhaus gerne weiter!

Wunderbares Haus an pferfekte Lage
Wunderschönes Haus mit viel Charme mitten in der Altstadt; trotzdem geniesst man Ruhe und Privatsphäre. Diverse Geschäfte und Sehenswürdigkeiten in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft; Hafen, Markt, Einkaufsläden, viele Restaurants sowie weitere Sehenswürdigkeiten in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar.
Das Haus bietet eine komplett ausgestattete Küche mit grossem Kühlschrank, Abwaschmaschine und kleinem Kräutergarten. Die zwei Schlafzimmer (im 2. Stock mit Klimaanlage) bieten genügend Platz und haben je ein separates Badezimmer. Eine grosse Terrasse im 1. Stock sowie ein kleiner Balkon im 2. Stock bieten genügend zusätzlichen Platz um zu verweilen oder Wäsche aufzuhängen. Im Wäscheraum ist ebenfalls alles nötige vorhanden sowie zwei moderne Fahrräder mit welchen das Umland erkundet werden kann.
Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich, flexibel und hilfsbereit.
WLAN, genügend Decken, Tücher, Fön, Ventilator usw usw ...... Nur zu empfehlen !!! :-)

Wir können das Ferienhaus nur weiterempfehlen. Die Abwicklung mit dem Vermieter ist vorbildlich unkompliziert, die bereit gestellten Informationen sind unglaublich detailliert. Das Haus entspricht vollständig der Beschreibung im Inserat, so dass diesbezüglich keine ergänzenden oder abweichenden Angaben nötig sind. Die Insel Hvar und Stari Grad selbst sind sehr schön und abwechslungsreich.......alles in allem wunderbar.

Super schönes Urlaubshaus
Wir waren 9 Tage in diesem schönen, alten Steinhaus auf der Insel Hvar, in dem beschaulichen Ort Stari Grad und würden jederzeit wieder kommen.
Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße in Hafennähe. 2 Bäcker sind um die Ecke und 3 Supermärkte sind im Umkreis von 5 min erreichbar.
Stari Grad hat einen schönen alten Stadtkern mit Hafen und schmalen Seitengassen, in denen sich viele romantische Restaurants finden lassen.
Dennoch ist man zu Fuß in nur 15min am Felsstrand mit klarem Wasser.
Auch in der Hauptsaison lassen sich hier einsame Buchten finden, sofern man mobil ist (zum Haus gehören 2 Fahrräder).
Das Haus hat zwei Höfe. Ein schmaler, der zum EG führt, rechts davon liegt ein zweiter, ebenfalls schattiger, ummauerter Hof mit Gartenmöbeln und Platz zum Grillen. Dazwischen ist ein überdachter Raum mit Sitzgelegenheit und Waschmaschine sowie Platz für die Fahrräder. Darüber liegt eine Terrasse.
Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Uns hat die Klimaanlage im 2. Stock den Schlaf gerettet, denn Nachts kühlte es kaum auf unter 30°C ab.
Gerade mit älteren Kindern sind die 2 Etagen (jeweils mit eigenem Bad und WC) super.
Natürlich war alles sauber. Die Besitzer wohnten gleich "nebenan" und waren immer ansprechbar und sehr hilsbereit.
