Nestled in Stari Grad, this lovely house for $144 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Situated in the beautiful village of Rudina, our house with garden is located 500m from sea. We welcome our guests and we try to make them enjoy their stay. We can organise boat trips, fishing and we can supply our guests with organic food we grow in our garden. Our hosts Marin and Anna lived on site and could not have been kinder or more helpful. The small hamlet of Rodina is a half hour walk uphill from Starigrad where the nearest shops, bars and restaurants are, but our teenage children coped well with this doing lots of walking, swimming and exploring ( excellent wifi). Despite the remoteness the villa is well equipped and we enjoyed many fun family meals cooking in the black kitchen in the garden. This was a truly wonderful place in an unspoilt corner of Hvar.

Nichts hat gefehlt. Von allem war genug da: Handtücher, Toilettenpapier, Töpfe , Teller, Strohhalme, Betten, Bäder, Wäscheklammern,...
Wir wurden so toll empfangen und haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt!

We had a very nice stay in Rudina. The place was easy to find and we felt very welcomed right from the beginning. The house is well situated and also very cute decorated. It was on one hand antique but on the other hand modern furnished as well. Our host was very, very nice and helpful. They really brightened our stay and gave us many insider tips when asked as well as they even had dinner with us where they cooked traditional food for us (even vegan)! We had a very nice evening together and we definetly will not forget that!All in all we would recommend this place any time!

It was a great stay and we were very sad, that we could only stay for one week. Marin and Ana are very nice and warm-hearted landlords - helpful, friendly and very aware of our needs. They told us so much about the island, it's beauties and places. The BBQ, they did for us, was perfect and we truly enjoyed every minute!
The houses are modern, very well equiped and everything (!) worked fine. Especially the black kitchen surrounded by the garden is a great place to stay, cook and relax.
We can recommend this place without any restrictions and we wish Ana and Marin all the best!

Lovely property, spotlessly clean. Loved the garden area and second kitchen, where we cooked and ate out in the patio/ garden area. Our hosts Marin and Ana were so helpful and kind. Would definately recommend staying here. You would need a hire car. Lovely hidden coves to visit and swim in the sea.

Character property with friendly and generous hosts
We had an amazing stay here. It was more perfect for us than we could have imagined. A beautiful, well equipped property with the added delight of the black ( outside) kitchen. A wonderful court yard garden . Our hosts had an eye for beauty. They were also keen to share their culture with us and provided us with some fabulous experiences. We were staying there with our French friends who share our interest in food and other people's cultures and the whole experience was perfect for us.

La scoperta di un angolo di paradiso
Un gioiello di casa curata in ogni minimo dettaglio, attrezzata di tutto e arredata con un gusto impeccabile. Pulitissima, comoda e con la cucina esterna, fornitissima e circondata da un giardino incantato e un patio con un grande tavolo, vero cuore della casa. Abbiamo trovato tutto davvero stupendo, un delizioso angolo di paradiso ma la cosa più sorprendente è stata l'accoglienza, la simpatia e il calore genuino e squisitamente dolce dei padroni di casa Marin e Anna che con una dedizione semplice e sincera ci hanno coccolato per 15 giorni e lasciato senza parole per la loro profonda gentilezza. Questa vacanza ci ha riportato a valori veri che troppo spesso nella frenesia quotidiana dimentichiamo come la convivialità, l'amicizia, l'accoglienza aperto, il gioire nel rendere gli altri felici perché è proprio questo il semplice segreto che traspare in ogni gesto di questi fantastici padroni di casa. Dove tutto è' imperfettamente perfetto ..
15 giorni vissuti con intensità pieni di valori semplici e genuini , tra amici intelligenti ricchi di grande umanità, questa è Rudina e Villa Dulcic ne racchiude tutta la magia.
la casa è' curata in ogni dettaglio cucina all'esterno del corpo principale, il curatissimo giardino pieno di fiori, la chiesetta davanti alla casa che con la sua panca ove se siete fortunati troverete sedute le persone più simpatiche di Rudina ( i carissimi m.viola e Claudia " croati de Roma " :)
diventata una sorta di internet Point grazie alla linea Wi-Fi che riesce a coprire quei meravigliosi 30 metri , che portano dalla cucina al corpo principale della casa .
Come sono lontane hvar città e Palmizana da questo Eden, le serate scorrono tra cene infinite e calice innalzati , bambini che corrono felici dietro alle rane che saltellano , si pianificano escursioni e prelibatezze da cucinare per la sera che verrà..
Marin e Ana .. Mi avete fatto trascorrere una vacanza da sogno , non mi sono mai sentito un affittuario ma un amico e avrei voluto condividere ancora più tempo con voi .. Avete fatto cose che neanche un famigliare farebbe e di questo ve ne sarò grato in eterno .
Siamo andati via con le lacrime agli occhi e il cuore pieno di gioia e ricordi .. Sono sicuro che un giorno torneremo perché Villa Dulcic non è un sogno ma è' realtà ,;posti così e persone come voi andrebbero custodite gelosamente , ma è' giusto che anche altre persone abbiano la possibilità di vivervi

FANTASTIC
Pour ceux qui veulent un endroit authentique, calme et beau, ne cherchez pas plus loin. La maison est parfaite, toute propre et confortable. La terrasse extérieure est délicieuse et puis il y a a la fameuse "black kitchen". Une cuisine située dans une petite maison à part de la location principale, qui communique avec la terrasse, et où vous pouvez faire des grillades dans la grande cheminée. Tout ce que vous pouvez espérer est disponible : instruments de cuisine, 3 machines à café, belle vaisselle... L'endroit est proche de criques somptueuses et à 2 kms du village pour faire ses courses ou aller diner au restaurant. Mais le vrai trésor de cet endroit, ce sont ses propriétaires Marin et Ankica qui sont des gens d'une gentillesse inouïe. Ils habitent à côté et vous renseigneront sur tout ce qu'il faut savoir sur l'île. Les criques à l'eau turquoise, les restaurants réellement typique où l'on mange de l'agneau grillé, du fromage local servi avec un vin de pays parfait. Ce qui fait réellement la différence, ce sont les propriétaires qui sont des gens exceptionnels. Nous avons passé des soirées mémorables à déguster les plats d'Ankica en discutant des heures comme avec des amis de longue date. Je pense pouvoir dire que je n'ai jamais croisé d'hôtes aussi merveilleux de gentillesse et délicatesse. C'est ce qui fait la différence entre des vacances et un voyage. Merci mille fois Marin et Ankica !

Wirklich ein außergewöhnlich schönes Ferienhaus!
Wir haben in diesem Ferienhaus mit drei Erwachsenen und zwei Kindern (11 und 14 Jahren) unseren Sommerferien-Urlaub verbracht. Wir waren alle begeistert! Das Haupthaus ist ein liebevolles und mit allem Komfort ausgestattetes Steinhaus, in dem wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. In der Nacht ist es in dem Ort sehr ruhig. In ca. 15 Minuten gelangt man zu Fuss zu einer schönen Strandbucht.
Der Vermieter Marin hat uns am ersten Tag auch andere schöne Buchten und alles wichtige in Stari Grad gezeigt.
Wirklich außergewöhnlich angenehm war der Garten, die mit Wein überdachte Terasse und eine dort gelegene zweite Küche in einem alten Steinhaus. Dort konnten wir ungestört unser Frühstück genießen. Nach einem Badetag haben wir dann auch dort in der Hängematte oder Hollywood-Schauckel entspannt.
Ein gelungener Urlaub in einer idyllischen Umgebung. Wir planen dorthin wieder zu kommen.

Un accueil merveilleux, Anna et Marin sont vraiment très gentils et dévoués pour nous faire découvrir les charmes de leur île. Hvar mérite vraiment d'être découverte, c'est différent de ce qu'on a vu sur le continent. La maison est bien équipée et la terrasse vraiment très agréable.

E' difficile trovare le parole per descrivere quanto bene ci siamo trovati in questo luogo. Partendo dalle cose più pratiche posso dire: casa perfetta, spaziosa, comoda, bella, curata in ogni minimo dettaglio. Punti di forza sono la seconda cucina all'esterno del corpo principale, il curatissimo giardino pieno di fiori, l'orto generosamente messo a disposizione dai proprietari, le dotazioni: non manca davvero niente, dalle attrezzature per la cucina (comprese svariate macchine per il caffè dalla moka alla Nespresso) all'abbondanza di biancheria da letto, bagno e cucina, ai generi di prima necessità quali sale, zucchero, olio, latte e succo per il primo giorno e così via. Pulizia impeccabile. Il piccolo borgo a soli 2 km da Stari Grad è graziosissimo e molto tranquillo. L'isola in generale è bella, molto verde, mare cristallino, spiagge per tutti i gusti e paesaggi incantevoli. Tuttavia il vero valore aggiunto è l'ospitalità di Marin e Ana, i proprietari, davvero oltre ogni immaginazione. Non mi voglio dilungare raccontando tutte le attenzioni da cui siamo stati circondati, senza mai peraltro vedere invasa la nostra privacy, lasciando ai futuri ospiti il piacere di scoprirlo. Dico solo che abbiamo trovato dei veri amici che abbiamo fatto fatica a lasciare. Grazie davvero di tutto, siete straordinari!

"Nous revenons de séjour chez Ankica et Marin qui sont des hôtes absolument adorables. La maison est au calme et excellement bien entretenue et équipée (vous avez même les pastilles pour le lave vaisselle !). Marin est un inconditionnel du barbecue et du poisson frais. Et sa femme Ankica nous a cuisiné un poulpe à la tomate divin. Vous vous sentez vraiment comme en famille. Toutefois ils savent aussi rester très discrets et nous laisse l''espace libre.
La cuisine d''été et la terrasse attenante sont très agréable. A deux pas, moyennement une petite balade à pied ou en voiture fort sympatique vous accéderez à des petites criques cachées de carte postale. Au mois de mai malheureusement l''eau était très froide mais notre séjour à Hvar chez Marin et Ankica sont notre meilleur souvenir de notre petit périple croate."
