Arkada Hotel

The location is amazing, the hotel features amazing design from the seventies, something that architecture lovers will surely appreciate. The cleanliness was good, and makes up for the missing ammenities. Nices coves all around the hotel. Beginning July was not crowded. We will certainly looking forward to staying here again.

The hotel doesn't provide toiletries like shampoo, the matresses are uncomfortable, and sometimes the pool and garden cleaning can be overwhelming, but all in all - at least they care about the cleanliness! Food could be a bit better with the exact same ingredients.

The location was amazing and the retro vibe made it feel like travelling back in time to the 1970s.

Music in hotel public spaces was great! Hotel position, views, beach .... Great!

Water pressure in room shower was appalling. I understand management whish to save water but reducing the pressure to minimum is not the best course of action. Shower will be shorter with regular water pressure.

Nice location! Easy to walk into Stari Grad on a nice path. Easy to walk the other direction to have a great hike through the trees and next to the ocean. Great big saltwater pool was excellent! Easy to walk 1 minute down to get into the ocean. The sunsets while you eat dinner are amazing from the patio!

1. The food was not great. They definitely tried to have a lot of options though! 2. There were not enough pool chairs, and every morning they all had towels on them to be reserved before it was even 7 am. And then the people wouldn’t show up to use the chairs until 5 pm. It was really frustrating! It would be amazing if the hotel would remove towels if no one had used the chair in the last 30 minutes. They also do not have pool towels for daily use. 3. The rooms are SO tiny. There is literally one shoulder-width path through the room, so if we needed to pass each other, one of us has to flatten against the wall while the other shimmies by. We’ve never had a smaller room. They also REALLY need to be renovated. We had wallpaper peeling, our door trim was coming off, there were filthy baseboards. And the shower? I’m pretty sure it was designed specifically for bathing a toy poodle.
