if you want guest, Be a host. if you want to have a lovely spot in Stari grad as a family; share the costs with all fami

perfect location for visit to hvar. beatiful place

lack of hostpitability. the parents live in garden and dont’t speek any English, or german or italian, and don’t respond to our basic Croatian. theorie dog will meet you immediately of you go 1 step below terrace. we were summoned to stop talking on terrace just after 23.00. when we protested, we recieved mail from host about the houserules. this could be best spot in all of croatia. but as long as the family prioritizes their freedom above their hospitability, i can not imagin that any guest can feel comfortabel. we had special circumstance that family member suddenly died during our stay. we informed our host. first respondence: ‘we can’t refund you’. That was not our question; insurance can take care of that. then the caution to keep quiet before midnight while we were arranging funeral long distance by phone. we tried to talk to the family on premices. totall language blok. not willing. we kept the official host posted by mail. She only cautioned us to Follow the ‘rules’ and told is we were nót acting by the rules … anyway; very dissapointed.

L'appartamento è molto più piccolo che nelle foto. Il proprietario ci disturbava. Ci ha lasciato una spugna per lavare i piatti usati dagli ospiti precedenti. Il parcheggio che cita è quello del vicino in cortile, che ci ha chiesto più volte di spostare l'auto. In un'occasione, il proprietario è venuto alla nostra finestra la mattina e ci ha chiamato per rimuovere l'auto, e ci eravamo appena svegliati ed eravamo ancora in mutande! Vergogna! Privacy zero! Vicino all'appartamento ci sono scogli per nuotare e una spiaggia molto sporca e sporca. Si trova a 15 minuti a piedi dalla città e l'appartamento stesso non è raggiungibile in auto. Gli asciugamani che forniscono sono molto vecchi. Letto matrimoniale troppo piccolo per 2 persone. Se apri le finestre non puoi muoverti normalmente nell'appartamento, cioè non puoi certo muoverti normalmente perché è troppo piccolo. La cucina si trova proprio di fronte al bagno, il che lo rende antigienico. Non lo consiglio! I didn't like it. The apartment is much smaller than in the pictures. The owner was disturbing us. She left us a sponge for washing dishes used by previous guests. The parking lot he mentions is the neighbor's parking lot in the yard, who asked us to move the car several times. On one occasion, the owner came to our window in the morning and called us to remove the car, and we had just woken up and were still in our underwear! Shame! Privacy zero! Near the apartment there are rocks for swimming and a very bad and dirty beach. It is a 15-minute walk from the city, and the apartment itself cannot be reached by car. The towels they provide are very old. Double bed too small for 2 people. If you open the windows, you cannot move normally in the apartment, ie you certainly cannot move normally because it is too small. The kitchen is located right in front of the toilet, which makes it unhygienic. I do not recommend!

Passable

The landlady was ectremely unpleasant on several occasions, even claming we left the apartment very messy. We have not cleansed it properly upon leaving because we were late for the ferry and we had no proper means to do it, but we certainly left no damage and the apartment had to be cleansed for the new guests. She even called while I was on the ferry to tell me never to contact her again and how she was disgusted and then she hunged up..It left me in quite a stress. Although other aspects were mostly ok, I would strongly suggest you to avoid this kind of stress you most certainly do not want to experience during your vacation.

Would stay here again.

Great apartment a few minutes walk from the centre of Stari Grad on the way to one of the swimming beaches. The location suited me perfectly, I liked the little walk to and from the town and it meant it was lovely and quiet at night. The apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean, well equipped for self catering and had a nice cool sitting/eating area just outside the kitchen door, Plenty of hot water and a great shower. The host family are at hand and were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Exceptional

Stari Grad is place for people who prefer quiet places. Historical town of Stari grad is very beautiful and beaches romantic - not packed with travelers. People, who like partying long night should choose city of Hvar or Split. The apartment was extraordinary clean and tidy! The land lady and landlord live in next apartment, they are really nice and helpful people. I recomed this stay to other similar visitors.

Exceptional

Apartment is very clean and comfortable, with beautiful terrace where you can enjoy your meal. Beach is very close by and in 10 minutes of beautiful walk you are in town centre. We recommend the apartment!

Perfect.

Owner lives on site. Able to assist us with any answers that we had. great with advice for what to do and see in the area. Unit not in town centre, just a short 10 minute walk. Away from the noise of centre. Close to water for swimming and the bar on the point
