Our home is reserved solely for quiet getaways, gatherings of any kind that exceed our maximum capacity of EIGHT adults is strictly prohibited. Property is to be accessed by reserved guests only. This piece of paradise was a wonderful venue for several of the Ladies the Lake from Lake Oconee. House is very well stocked. It is the perfect setting for a trip to Saint Simons Island.

The house is gorgeous and accurately portrayed in the listing. We had 9 people (4 of them kids) and there was plenty of room for everyone. My teenage daughter was thrilled to have her own space in the bonus room above the garage! It was perfect for her as the older kid in the group. We had some communication with the property owner, both before and during the trip, and response was very prompt/almost immediate. We enjoyed the lovely pool/spa and backyard space. The bikes were a plus. We love SSI and will definitely look to rebook this home in the future.

The house was 'as advertised.' We weren't ready for the pool to feel like bathwater, but the days are in the high 90's, so it's not the owner's fault. The porch was nice. Location worked for us, but it's a 25-45 minute drive to the beach. We stayed over July 4th, so I would expect traffic to be lighter on other weeks. Loved that the house came with bikes. We really enjoyed the stay. We didn't use the hot tub for obvious reasons, but it looked like a really nice tub. The owner was very prompt in responding to me on the App.

Our stay was lovely. You could smell how clean it was from the moment you walked in. There was plenty of room for our family of 10 to spread out. We enjoyed the pool and screened in porch. The pool was cleaned by a service while we were there, which doesn’t usually happen at many VRBOs so that was an added bonus. The neighborhood was quite and walkable. We had many visits by a family of deer and all kinds of pretty birds. Unfortunately, we did not get a chance to enjoy the bikes but it was a great added touch. Check in and out was seamless and the owner was very easy to deal with. The property is close enough to enjoy the beach and shopping but far enough away to feel like a different world. We loved all the trees with the Spanish moss. It was absolutely beautiful. Would definitely recommend staying.

Your personal resort on the quieter and more residential North end of Saint Simons Island. Although it is not as close to the action as the South end, why would you want to leave the pool, hot tub, and amazing screened in outside living area? If you do want to venture out, the south side attractions are a long, but doable, bike ride (4 good quality bikes and locks in the garage for guests) or short drive away. Also, very close to the North end marina for nature excursions, golf options, Cannon Point Preserve, Fort Fredericka, and other nature areas. The home itself is nicely finished and comfortable with great dining and kitchen areas. Plus the beds were really comfortable and the bathrooms spacious. Great host experience too! Book with no regrets of worries.

We celebrated our 50 years of marriage with our family. The house is in a quiet upscale neighborhood away from the noise and traffic of the beach area. While we went to the beach nearly everyday we prepared most of our meals in the beautiful kitchen. We greatly enjoyed the pool and porch. Our evenings were spent playing games and watching an occasional movie. It was a wonderful week.

The house was absolutely beautiful with all the amenities you could want. The host, Lisa, was very prompt to answer any questions we had. Had never been to St. Simon's Island before and there were sites to see and great restaurants.

This home was even better than the pictures. 10 of us stayed there over Christmas time and did a lot of family meals and games. There is so much space and the layout is great that we never felt suffocated, even after 6 days together. Great central area to hang out and socialize and many quiet areas to take a break when you needed it. We had very cold weather so didn't get to enjoy the outdoor amenities much other than the hot tub, would have loved more time on the large screened in porch areas. Kitchen was well equipped. Master bedroom suite was amazing. Upper room over the garage a great spot for the three teen boys to hang. Price is affordable considering the house can hold 10 comfortably. Lastly, we were pleasantly surprised and very much appreciated the Christmas tree that was up and the full size toy soldiers that were paying Christmas music at the front door as we arrived. Such a nice touch.

This home is a wonderful place to gather with your family or friends. We had 4 couples and the floor plan of this home made our trip very comfortable. We had one night we stayed home to watch the Georgia football game and the guys enjoyed watching it in the game room! The hot tub was a perk as well! Thanks for sharing your wonderful home with us!

It was a good experience overall. The house is beautiful. Having only 3 full bathrooms downstairs (the 4th full bathroom being upstairs) wasn’t ideal for the 4 couples staying. Also, I’m still waiting on the return of the deposit, which is seeming to take a while to return.

My family and I spent our Thanksgiving at this property and it did not disappoint. It is large and spacious with plenty of amenities to keep everyone entertained. The large screened in porch was a favorite hangout spot and is where we enjoyed our Thanksgiving meal. The close proximity (<5min) to the King and Prince Golf course was convenient to allow for a guys outing for a early morning round. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to others.

Our party of four couples spent four nights at this beautiful getaway home. This place is fabulous for a reunion - space and more space - both inside and out for sitting and visiting. The large kitchen/keeping room is great for meal prep, and we used the outside patio dining table (seats 8) every night of our stay. The property is nicely landscaped with a very inviting pool and hot tub. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and hope to come back next year!

The home is beautiful, well kept and met all of our needs for our large family of seven plus my elderly mother in law. The sleeping arrangements and bathrooms worked out perfectly for our family. The large kitchen open to the family room made it easy to congregate and visit. The home is a bit of a drive from the wedding festivities on Sea Island but it was a nice relaxing retreat. In my option, this house is perfect for a family of all ages! The only things we needed were more kitchen garbage bags and updated bakeware but overall an excellent stay!

It was located in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful homes and was only 5 minutes from a beautiful golf course! It was so peaceful and relaxing. We had such a great time and would love to come back! This home is fantastic! Our party consisted of four couples. There was plenty of room for us to gather together and to have separate groups, too! The kitchen is very well equipped and the beds were all comfortable. The screened in porch and backyard complete with a pool and hot tub were amazing! The neighborhood is so quiet and lovely. We had six “picky” women stay at this beautiful home for a golfing trip with not a single complaint. This group was completely overwhelmed by the beautiful and luxurious home. We had rooms and privacy for all with multiple gathering areas. I think we used the entire house. The kitchen was very well stocked, even having multiple coffee pots so we could each have our own special brew. We used the game room, pool, porches, and kitchen table for evening card games. The owner was incredibly responsive to all questions from the initial inquiries through all of the planning details and available for any in-house questions. Such a great time!

We loved everything about this location and this rental property. I only gave a 3 star 'accuracy' as the site was confusing as it says 8 Max people. Where as indeed the house had beds for 10 and even plus with the FROG room. But once we worked out with owner was smooth sailing. House is in an ideal location. It offered everything we needed. Was nicely decorated. We enjoyed the quiet little town of St. Simons. Worked with a company "The Tent Guys" for a beach rental of tent and chairs and that was amazing. Made our stay and day at the beach just perfect. I would highly recommend this home to anyone, we loved it! Thank you Lisa for being a good communicator.

We came from around the country and enjoyed our stay together! The house was the perfect size for all of us and it allowed us to spread out and be together in one space as well. The pool was a big hit and we were close enough to the beach and shopping which made it convenient. I thought it would be a little “too fancy” but it had an incredible homey feel! I would highly recommend this house, especially for a large family.

After a couple of stays, this house has become one of our favorite places to vacation. It is in a quiet neighborhood, the pool is very private, the house is very well maintained and clean. With this property, you get the best of everything, you get peace and quiet away from the crowds, but you’re only a short drive from the beaches, restaurants, and shopping. Highly recommended for anybody looking for the perfect vacation spot.

We have been planning this family vacation for the better part of a year and the house did NOT disappoint! The location is quiet and picturesque while still being within 20 minutes of the beach and village. We cooked many meals in the large kitchen and ate on the deck and pool patio. Everything was clean and welcoming from the moment we stepped into the front door! Lisa is a pleasure to rent from and very quick to communicate with if you have any questions. Definitely stay here if you are able!
