This newly renovated 1,000-square-foot single-family home in Clinton, Connecticut, accommodates up to six guests across two spacious bedrooms and a pull-out couch. The open-concept layout seamlessly connects a fully equipped kitchen with brand-new stainless steel appliances to a large, comfortable living room. Guests can enjoy dual views, with the front balcony overlooking the Long Island Sound and the rear balcony facing a natural marsh landscape. Modern conveniences include central air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, and outdoor security cameras. The rental provides private beach access less than 100 feet away and supplies all essentials, including linens, towels, pillows, blankets, beach chairs, paper products, and cleaning pods, alongside outdoor furniture and a grill.
The booking calendar splits into two distinct seasons. The summer season runs from May 14 to September 30, requiring a one-week minimum stay that must begin on a Friday. Shorter stays during the summer are permitted but require a direct inquiry for non-standard pricing. The winter season offers academic and long-term rentals from October to May at a discounted rate, though guests on these long-term stays must pay for electric, heat, cable, and internet utilities separately on a monthly basis. The property was very comfortable, well located in a very quiet area with friendly neighbors and a fairly good view between houses of the water. Truly a nice location for our visits to Madison and Old Saybrook. Owners were good communicators and helpful.

Very comfortable. 2nd Floor only using outside stairs. (Ground floor is garage/storage, typical for many coastal properties in that area) House is very modern and bright. The view of the beautiful marsh from the back deck is awesome. Very close to restaurants, stores, marinas etc while being in a very quiet residential area. Long Island sound beach across the street is very small and only usable a couple of hours a day depending on the tides. However, Hammonasset State beach and preserve area is only 15-20 minute away. Madison, Clinton and Westbrook are great old time coastal communities. Very enjoyable, wish we had a few more days of vacation time there.

This property was absolutely stunning. The private beach was just across the street. The property had excellent air conditioning as well. The host also offers winery, brewery, boat charters, tubing, water skiing and thrill rides. My family and I went on the winery tour and I got to tell you well worth it. Do yourself a favor and book a stay.
