I just needed a place for a couple of nights as I was testing the waters to experience Spanish Wells for my first time. I was traveling alone and felt very safe in the area. Once I found the apartment, I had time to explore on the golf cart which was provided. Jaime answered all my questions promptly. After a long day's travel it provided me with a great place to get a good night's rest and then a new day of exploring.

We needed a place to stay for one night, and this place worked out fine. It was clean and well stocked. It was bit farther from the beach than we expected, although with a golf cart that is not an issue. So if you need an inexpensive place to stay on Spanish Wells, this fits the bill.
That said, I cannot really recommend coming to this island - especially if you want to experience the Bahamas, as there is really nothing Bahamian about this island. It is instead more more of a south Florida evangelical commune - complete with Trump flags. If that's your crowd, then you will fit right in. If not, don't waste your time and money on this island, and instead go somewhere more diverse and interesting.
