The Beachcomber House is an iconic Australian mid-century modern project home. These elevated homes were designed by architect Nino Sydney for Lendlease. Introduced in 1961, these Bauhaus-inspired, elevated pavilions on steel stilts were designed to be affordable, light-filled, and perfectly suited to Australia.
The way a real beach holiday should feel, the Booth is a simple yet functional original 1960s Classic Beachcomber style home with 180° Ocean views from the balcony.
Property Highlights.
Prime Location:
The Booth Beachcomber House is situated only one street back from the protected South Narrawallee BEACH, on the HIGH side of a quiet street.
Beach Access:
A short 100m stroll will have you on the sand or playing in the rock pools.
Natural Setting:
Set among a natural setting of local banksia and native trees, with the balcony providing a perfect spot to get to know the local native birds—including rosellas, lorikeets, and king parrots that will come to visit.
Layout and Amenities:
It is a cosy two-storey house with an east-facing balcony, large grassed backyard, and 2 undercover car spaces, although this space is better used for the table tennis table!
Living and Bedding Layout.
Perfect for a couple or a small family up to 6 people.

180° East facing Ocean views from the living room and balcony.
Living Area:
Comfortable living area including a 4/6 seat extendable dining table.
Kitchen:
Functional kitchen with stools at the kitchen bench creating another eating area.
Upstairs Bedrooms:
2 Bedrooms upstairs. One with a Queen bed, and the other with two sets of single-sized bunk beds (4 singles total).
Bathrooms:
A bathroom with a separate toilet upstairs. There is a separate toilet and bath/shower downstairs, which is perfect for after the beach.
Laundry:
Internal Laundry Facilities downstairs.
Linen Information.
BYO Linen: Your own Linen is required (no Sheets and Towels provided).
Inclusions:
All beds have mattress protectors with doonas and pillows. One Queen Bed and 2 Single Bunk beds (4 Singles).

South Narrawallee Beach:
A SHORT 100m stroll will have you on the sand or playing in the rock pools at the south end of Narrawallee beach. This beach is Surf Life Guard patrolled during summer and holiday periods. It can be as flat as glass some days and also have great surf waves. A very protected part of the coast great for families.
Narrawallee Inlet and Reserve:
A 15min stroll along the beach or a short 2-minute drive will find you at the beautiful Narrawallee Inlet and reserve. This is perfect for all activities including boating, fishing, kayaking, swimming, snorkelling, SUP, surfing, bush walking, kids playground, BBQs, and picnic tables. Note: the tide changes every day at the inlet, ranging from sandy islands at low tide to a full tide with great boat access. Make sure you bring your snorkel gear, paddle boards, and kayaks!
Surrounding Hubs:
A 4min drive to Mollymook cafe shops, only a 6min drive to Historic Milton, and 10mins to the main hub of Ulladulla.

Great location. Older house in reasonable condition. Enough pots n pans and mostly everything else for the kitchen. Good size fridge. Aircon a lifesaver when it hit 41C

Enjoyed our stay in this original 60’s beach shack with wonderful views from the living area and balcony out to the beach and beyond. A short walk for a swim is ideal. Few games of ping pong also! Only negative for our stay were the bunk beds in bedroom two, our third adult guest at 6 foot 3 struggled to fit. Better suited to smaller children.
