Located in St. Croix, this lovely villa for $125 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Rent a 2 bedroom apartment in a private fenced property villa with incredible views, and watch the sunset from one of the most beautiful sunset locations you have ever seen from the top of a sugar mill built on the property and sitting in Jacuzzi... Villa is located on the West end of the island, 2 miles from Frederiksted, minutes from the best beaches on the island. The apartment accommodate has a sliding door on the porch for outside dining and grill coking with a table for 6 people. Inside are 2 bedrooms, one with a king, a second with a queen-sized bed, one and a half bathrooms, and a living room with a queen-sized pull-out sofa bed, this means, the apartment can accommodate a maximum of 6 people, and a fully equipped kitchen with side by side refrigerator, microwaves, cafe maker, toaster, propane gas stow, 3 gallons of drinking water, in walking closet is plenty of towels, beach towels, extra beds shits, and blankets. Cooling equipment: 4 ceiling fans, 4 floor fans, 9,000. BTU ceiling AC unit in the living room, 3,500. BTU portable AC unit in walking closet. Is everybody's choice to use what he wants, some customers are allergic to AC, and some to fans, if you like really cool, you need to have Central AC, save the trouble and go to the hotel. Guests have access to the pool, Jacuzzi, internet, basic dish TV, and washing machine, but no dryer. The owner is an experienced scuba diver and can you recommend the best local dive sites, for scuba divers are available diving weights. There are many fruit trees on the property and guests may eat what they find, ask the owner first. On the property are two friendly dobermans, as members of the family, ready to have company, play, and make 24-hour security around the fenced property. Anybody who doesn't like dogs, has allergies, or any other problems, please go somewhere else. The dog will be not chained or put in the shelter. This is your chance to be one of the people to visit this villa which became available for rent and introduce the Caribbean island living style.

This was the perfect location for our vacation. Our adult children enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We enjoyed the relaxing location and the ability to watch the sunset from the hilltop. Miro invited us in for drinks and showed us some of the amazing metal and woodworking that he had done on his property. He is always working to make his place better, but it just takes time. We enjoyed our stay and Miro was a great host. In addition, his two dogs made us feel at home. We hope to be back some day.

Beautiful home that is well taken care of and clean. The backyard was absolutely beautiful. In addition to the wonderful pool, there are lounge chairs, and an outdoor dining area. The space was so beautiful and relaxing! The owner was responsive and helpful. Something not pictured that may help future renters, there is a locked gate and two beautiful, lovely very playful Dobermans guarding the property and at the same time making nice company. The rum swizzle that was Miro’s recipe was better than any we had on the island!
We loved everything about the property! The owner is nearby in case you need something and is so kind and friendly. You can hear from him so many stories about Europe and his 20+ years on this island. The apartment had the feel of home. You have everything you need to cook your meals if you would like. Definitely next vacation will be there! A+++++

The rental was exactly as advertised and exceeded our expectations.
Miro, the host, does live on property, so we were a bit worried about privacy, but staying here we felt like we had the entire property to ourselves.
Miro was easy to find when we had questions but we hardly noticed that we were not alone.
The dogs were so friendly and we felt extremely safe here.
The views from all different parts of the property are amazing and the fruit everywhere was delicious and plentiful.
The apartment was very well stocked and comfortable. The air conditioner kept the whole place cool all night and the breeze comes right through the place during the day with the door and windows open.
This is a very unique property and home.
We are so glad we stayed here and will definitely be back.

Property owner is a very rude hoarder too old to clean all the dog ish up not all his belongnings….property is a liability/security risk and this is an old man who hits on any single female. Gross. Vrbo and the owner are terrible to deal with. After puking all night from heat exhaustion had to go to another property with more AC, no one’s fault but the weather yet request for refund days 2-7 denied and I was called an alcoholic because “I looked hungover” I guess to a drunk who doesn’t understand anything medical. Cheers to your next life, may you be reincarnated into a dung beetle!

This isn’t your cookie cutter hotel. It’s very eclectic with gardens, pool, hot tub, castle tower and even a secret speakeasy. The dog on the property was super sweet. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed the way Miro and his friends made us feel welcome from the first moment we arrived, even when our flight got in late due to a delay. He’s a very interesting person, so make sure if you stay to spend a little time with him to hear about his background and the people he has met. Very secluded location with a BEAUTIFUL sunset view. You catch yourself planning your day to be back to the pool every evening just to watch it. The hot tube veiw is even more incredible. If you’re wanting to be wined and dined, you may want to consider staying at on of the resorts or condo rentals. If you enjoy adventure and especially diving, this is the place! Meeting Miro’s guest from other backgrounds was an added treat. His son Randy was visiting as well and we had many laughs at the Lost Dog. Best wishes to all that visit.

Miro has spent 30 years transforming this property into a truly unique and eclectic place. It is full of interesting nooks and crannies, the view is to die for, the entire plot has been cultivated and landscaped, and Miro is a fascinating and engaging host--in fact, he and I went out for drinks down in Frederiksted twice during my stay. If you stay with him, you will get a real chance to step into the feel of the west end of the island--it was literally like coming home for me in more ways than one. Literally--I lived in the house when I was a kid before he bought it! It is like old-style Caribbean living but with modern touches like WiFi and properly stocked grocery stores nearby!
The apartment you are renting is quite comfortable--a good sized living area, two bedrooms, a nicely redone full bathroom, and a half bath. There's a nice, shaded porch with huge wood table to sit at. There is an AC unit that kept things reasonably cool--and I was there in the heat of the summer.
But you're also welcome to go up through the garden to the main house and sit at that porch and hang out around the pool taking in the amazing view. The dogs are pussycats once they know you are part of the pack and will come to say Hi occasionally.
If you are looking for sterile, hotel-like accommodation, go somewhere else. If you are looking for a real, local experience stay here and you won't regret it.

Not able to cool down
Miro is a gracious host along with his 2 dogs who were well trained. The location is absolutely beautiful with amazing views. The property is a bit cluttered with old saved items. The pool is nice! The apartment does not have air conditioning, but has an air cooler that is unable to manage the 2 bedrooms. We were there in June and it's hot; we were never able to have a cool space. We had to leave after 2 of our 5 day reservation due to the heat and health issues of my elderly parents. Additionally, we did see several critters running about the kitchen area; making it obvious why there was roach spray on the counter.

The property looks amazing in the pictures and the view is amazing but the host does stay with you and he has two dogs, so you do not have the property to only you and your party. (He was walking around in his boxers) as well as a infestation of roaches. I would not return to this property or recommend it to anyone going to St croix

The property as a whole is amazing! The dogs were incredibly sweet. The pool, hot tub, and views were the best. Miro is knowledgeable and friendly. The only complaint is that we’re from Texas and the air conditioning was not enough! It got better as we stayed. I would definitely recommend.

Overall the place did the job, we had a place to sleep but I wouldn't return. We learned a lesson to ask more questions when booking. The pictures are a little deceiving. We had a group of 5 so we were excited to have a gathering area only to find out when we arrived that we didn't have access to the area showing livingroom, pool table and bar as that is his living area. The hot tub area wasn't nice and impossible for some of our family to get to. No air conditioning, it had a very musty smell. We did enjoy the patio area. The whole property isn't as kept up as the pictures show. The host was very nice though.

Friendly owner
Miro was very nice and hospitable. The dogs were very friendly. I think the pool could have been cleaner and posting pics of his actual home is a bit misleading, but overall it is a very good value. He has definitely put alot of work into his property
