This old silk farm is a perfect retreat if you want absolute calm and beauty, far from the madding crowd. The property is, unlike many rentals, characterful and singular,
austerely yet tastefully furnished. The pool is perfectly situated. The wide, shaded terrace is wonderful. Clouds of butterflies, vivid pink pelargoniums , mountain views, ancient mulberry trees. It is ravishing. But it is a 20 min drive on a rough and winding road to get your daily bread so the place really IS about getting away from it all. We felt it was worth going the extra miles. Owners discreet and helpful and always ready to advise. We were an extended family and friends and we all adored our stay and will cherish our memories of it.
