Fantastic location and lovely hotel
Check in wasn’t easy and only saw someone at a desk once on check out. I had to call from my mobile for help to check in.

This high end, but a little quirky, boutique hotel is central to the spa facilities and the shopping area, plus a ten minute relatively flat walk from the train station. The rooms are very appealing and the public areas are full of interesting, curated bits of art, sculpture, etc. Everything is visually appealing. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The breakfast is not a huge spread as you often see in the large hotels, but the food was good and varied.
For someone who is not a digital native, the advanced electronics in the room were a little challenging. I never figured out how to turn on only the reading lights without the room lights. However, the staff would have been eager to help me if I had asked. They do warn about the stairs to the upper rooms, and, indeed, those stairs were a bit daunting. But these concerns are minor. The place is delightful.

We enjoyed our stay very much from the moment we arrived. The lady on reception kindly offered us and upgrade to a suite, the room was amazing and beautifully decorated. We will definately be returning. Thank you for taking such good care of us.
The only thing not to like is leaving!! We wished we had stayed for 2 nights. Sadly we also had to leave early and we didn't have time to try breakfast but we are definately going to do that next time, the dining area and what we saw of the breakfast looked great.
