Tolle Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage
Das Grundstück mit Pool ist sehr gepflegt, die Wohnung absolut sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung lässt nichts vermissen. Das Haus liegt ruhig und etwas abseits vom Ortskern des beschaulichen Merindol. Die Stadtmitte mit kleinem Supermarkt, einigen Restaurants und der Pizza a emporter ist jedoch fußläufig in weniger als zehn Minuten zu erreichen.
Zu einem großen Supermarkt im benachbarten Mallemort gelangt man mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten.
Die Terrasse der Wohnung ist mit Esstisch und Stühlen, Loungesesseln und Liegen ausgestattet. Weitere Liegen finden sich am Pool.
Philippe ist ein äußerst netter Gastgeber, die Kommunikation mit ihm (Französisch und Englisch) verlief reibungslos.
Den Pool teilt man sich tagsüber eventuell mit einer weiteren Partei. Deren Unterkunft mit eigener Terrasse befindet sich auf der anderen Seite des Pools, ist also räumlich deutlich getrennt. Am Abend nutzen auch Philippe und seine Frau gelegentlich das Schwimmbecken. Auch hier ergab sich stets ein netter Kontakt.
Der Radweg "Luberon au velo" führt direkt durch Merindol. Ausflüge in schöne Dörfer wie Lourmarin und Curcuron sind mit und ohne E-Bike möglich. Auf zahlreichen Wanderwegen lassen sich die Hügel des Luberon erkunden. Im Sommer sollte man dafür aber früh aufstehen, um der Hitze zuvorkommen zu können.
Die Unterkunft ist absolut empfehlenswert!

Toller Urlaub in wunderschöner Umgebung
Wir waren für zwei Wochen in der kleinen Gîte in Mérindol und es fehlte uns an Nichts. Sie war sehr sauber, wunderschön eingerichtet, genauso wie auf den Fotos. Vom Schlaf- und Wohnzimmer aus hatte man einen tollen Blick auf den großen Pool. Das ganze Anwesen war sehr gepflegt, von außen nicht einsehbar und überall waren Details der Provence erkennbar. Der Inhaber Philippe war sehr hilfsbereit, gab auch Tipps für Ausflüge und sprach auch etwas Englisch. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet, es gab sogar eine Nespressomaschine, einen Pürierstab, eine Spülmaschine, eine Menge Töpfe und Pfannen, genug Besteck und eine Waschmaschine. Die Provence selber bietet eine Menge Ausflugsziele, die alle von dort gut zu erreichen sind. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es auch genug, besonders toll waren die kleinen Straßenstände mit lokalem Obst und Gemüse. Alles in allem war es ein gelungener Urlaub und wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

nun sind wir erst wenige Tage wieder Zuhause und was sollen wir sagen: Gerade erst haben wir an Dich und die liebenswerte Iness denken müssen.
Nun, es ist gut, dort zu sein. Wer in dieses Anwesen fährt, führt in aller Regel Entschleunigung im Schilde. Und es ist schön dort, weil neben Mérindol auch der Besuch der anderen kleinen Dörfer des Luberon unbedingt lohnenswert ist.

C’est parfait!
C’est très joli, il ne manque Absolument rien même pour la déco! La piscine et le jardin Sont très bien entretenus. Les propriétaires présents sur place mais tres discrets, Le monsieur, surtout, réceptif aux demandes et de bons conseils pour visiter la région et donne de bonnes adresses de restaurants. Pour nous c’était parfait!

Très beau gîte avec très belle piscine . Parfait pour les amateurs de calme et de nature
Un logement spacieux (nous étions 2) où rien ne manque et à la propreté impeccable.
Terrasse privative confortable et ombragée avec coin salon et transats.
Piscine de belle taille à partager avec un autre gîte. On se gare juste devant la porte et il y a de belles ballades à faire aux environs.
Tout est pratique et confortable. On sent que notre hôte est à la recherche du bien-être pour ses locataires. Nous reviendrons !!!

Séjour parfait et reposant !
Nous avons passé excellent séjour dans le gite de Mr. Chaine. La location est idéalement située, proche de nombreux sites d’exceptions (comme le village perché de Gordes, Roussillon et son colorado provençal et beaucoup d’autres…) et permet ainsi une grande diversité d’activités (musés, randonnées, visites de sites historiques, via ferrata…). Nous avons pu recharger nos batteries, l’endroit étant très calme.
De plus, le gîte est très bien équipé (four, lave-vaisselle, machine à laver, barbecue, climatisation, …) tout cela avec une très bonne literie. La terrasse est très agréable avec son coin repas pour prendre tranquillement le petit-déjeuner et le dîner, et le salon de jardin est idéal pour prendre l’apéritif après une belle journée ensoleillée. La propriété est très bien décorée et entretenue ainsi que la piscine et son espace qui sont assez grands pour les deux gîtes, nous ne nous sommes pas gênés et avons pu en profiter pleinement. Il n’y a aucun vis-à-vis avec le gîte voisin, ce qui est un excellent point. Le secteur permet de découvrir les alentours et de faire de beaux circuits. Les propriétaires sont très discrets mais restent disponibles pour la moindre question et n’hésitent pas à vous conseiller sur les bonnes adresses et lieux à visiter aux alentours. Merci à eux pour leur accueil chaleureux et leur gentillesse, nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir dans votre gîte et visiter encore davantage cette magnifique région.

Le gite est très bien situé, proche des lieux incontournables dans le luberon. Le gîte et le jardin/piscine sont très bien maintenus et propres. Le gîte est bien équipé et joliment décoré. Le propriétaire est sympa et nous a recommandé une superbe randonnée dans les gorges à proximité du gîte. À recommander pour se reposer en toute tranquillité et explorer la région.

Très bonne expérience
L'appartement est propre et climatisé, l'environnement calme. Très belle piscine à partager avec un autre gîte, l'ensemble est aménagé avec goût. Enfin, la situation géographique est idéale pour des activités très variées dans un rayon d'un heure en voiture.

Ideale huisje voor een relaxte vakantie
Voor de tweede keer bezocht maar nog altijd een zeer goede keuze. Alle gemakken voorzien en alles is netjes en schoon. De eigenaar zeer vriendelijk maar laat je verder ook met rust. Huisje is groot genoeg en is voorzien van mooie keuken airco, fijn bed en door douche.

Erholsame, schöne Tage im Luberon
Dieses Häuschen ist schön eingerichtet, sehr gut ausgestattet und das gesamte Anwesen sauber und gepflegt.
Véronique und Philippe waren sehr herzliche und fürsorgliche Gastgeber, die auch Englisch sprechen.
Für 2 Personen ist das Haus sehr geeignet und auch die Küche gut ausgestattet. Besonders schön ist die eigene, abgegrenzte Terrasse, die wir auch Anfang Oktober noch ganztags nutzen konnten. Es gibt auf dem Grundstück neben dem Haus der Eigentümer noch ein zweites Ferienhaus. Der Pool, der sehr gepflegt ist, wird gemeinsam genutzt. Wir haben unsere Nachbarn im anderen Ferienhaus kaum bemerkt. Die Atmosphäre ist insgesamt sehr entspannt und ruhig.
Mérindol ist ein hübsches Dorf zu Füßen des Luberons. Bäcker und Schlachter sind innerhalb von zehn Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen, das ist vor dem Frühstück ein netter Spaziergang. Die Lage ist perfekt geeignet, um das Luberon und die Alpilles zu erkunden, aber auch Marseille und Avignon sind mit dem Auto in ca einer Stunde zu erreichen. Wir sind viel gewandert und waren von der Vielfalt der Natur und der Kultur begeistert.
Wir können diese Unterkunft ohne Einschränkungen empfehlen.

Sehr empfehlenswert
Die Wohnung ist sehr schön. Die Bilder geben sie sehr gut wieder. Sie ist sauber und gut durchdacht. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Selbst ein guter Haartrockner ist vorhanden. Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt. Auf dem Grundstück befindet sich noch eine weitere Gite. Der großzügige Pool wird gemeinschaftlich genutzt.
Die Unterkunft liegt gut erreichbar aber ländlich und ruhig, was für einen entspannten Urlaub mit Entdeckungstouren perfekt ist.
Im Ortskern, des niedlichen Dorfes, ist man nach einem 10-minütigem Spaziergang. Hier gibt es zwei Boulangerien. Familie Chaine ist hilfsbereit und freundlich und gleichzeitig zurückhaltend. Das war sehr angenehm. Sie sind sehr darauf bedacht, dass sich alles in einem guten Zustand befindet.
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft!

Nous avons passé 2 semaines en août dès plus agréables dans ce super gîte climatisé et décoré avec beaucoup de goût et dans lequel il ne manque rien, . La piscine est géniale et l’environnement calme et très joli, nous avons beaucoup apprécié la petite cours privative avec vue sur la piscine. Le village de Mérindol est très joli et proches d'autres villages provençaux à visiter. Merci encore à Me et Mr CHAINE pour leur chaleureux accueil et conseils. Sans aucun doute,gîte de charme à conseiller .

We had a splendid holiday in this beautiful decorated cottage. Everything was clean, bed was good and kitchen more than complete. The terras was large with plenty of different chairs to sit in. We especially appreciated the privacy we got from the owner. He was there if we needed anything but left us alone if we didn't need anything. It was one of the best accommodation we stayed in in the last 20 years! Very very good and I can't think of any negative things!

Fantastic French retreat
Phillipe and Veronique (& their Son) are lovely hosts , they have the balance of helpfulness and discretion perfectly right. The gite is immaculate, well presented and has all the amenities you could possibly want. The pool is beautiful and just as well kept as the entire property. The village is typically French with a lovely selection of restaurants, a couple of tabac bars , bakeries and grocery shops. We couldn't ask for more. We look forward to visiting again . Great location for visiting a lot of beautiful Villages and Towns.
Phillipe and Veronique are really lovely hosts and made us very welcome. The Gite and the private patio are really stunning as is the pool which is shared by the owners (but they never used it when we were there). The Gite is well equipped but for English visitors the TV is very limited - only BBC World News and SKY TV News.
We expected a BBQ but that is no longer available as the area it was in is being developed into another one bedroomed Gite.
The Gite is in fabulous grounds which have electronic gates and so convenient for visiting many beautiful villages and towns and only an hour away from the coast.
We were disappointed that Phillipe hadn't told us before we went that the builders would be working on the new Site. The noise of drilling , cutting flooring etc didn't make for relaxation by the pool or on the patio, therefore we stayed out for most of the day as they didn't finish till 17.00. The weekends were very peaceful as no builders so we could enjoy the pool and it's surroundings. We didn't expect to be on holiday on a site with building works which were intrusive. We think the site price should have been reduced or a partial refund due to the problem for this year.
Veronique and Phillipe were very helpful and gave us some excellent suggestions of beautiful places to visit.
Would have given a 5 star rating if there had been no building work on going.
