About this villa rental
Located in Guia, this attractive villa for $291 per night is a great choice for your next break. This splendid villa in the Cerro de Aguia hill, 3 km west of Albufeira, is close to all amenities and right next to the breathtaking beaches in l'Algarve as well as numerous golf courses. In the upper floor, you can find two incredible en suite bedrooms with terraces and a stunning sea view. On the ground floor, there are an en suite bedroom, a bedroom for two guests and a separate bathroom. The house has a large fully fitted kitchen and an enormous living room, lounge and dining room with view to the pool. The pool can be heated in option for 250€ per week.

It is a clean, bright home, Very secure. The property couldn’t have been nicer. We did have a bit of trouble finding where to dump our garbage. There was no trash bin within the walls of the villa and there were no instructions as to what we were to do with the used bed linen and towels. The pool was lovely. We recommend it as a loavely place to stay.

The villa met all our needs. It was very spacious and well equipped in every respect, plenty of kitchen cooking equipment, crockery, cutlery glasses. Rooms were excellent with plenty of storage space and hangers in all wardrobes.
The outside area was delightful, the pool was an excellent size for us and there were plenty of shaded areas to shelter from the sun when needed.
The provision of towels to use around the pool was such a welcome addition for us.
Dina was extremely helpful, answering all our enquiries quickly and efficiently. She offered to come mid week to change the towels, which we didn’t require, but was very much appreciated.
We agree with other reviews that a car is a necessity as there are no shooed of restaurants within walking distance. However we also used cabs from time to time and found them cheap and speedy.

The villa is a fantastic spot for a family vacation. Located in a quiet hillside but within very easy reach of local restaurants, bars and beaches, this is an ideal place to relax and unwind. The housekeeper, Dina, made us extremely welcome and was responsive to all our needs. The only problem we encountered was a faulty pump in the pool which was quickly rectified. Thank you!

The house has everything you need and can ask for. I had a group of 7 people and it was perfect for us. Close to Albufeira and the beach, and the house itself is of the highest quality you will be able to find.

The villa was not luxurious, but comfortable enough. Website photos look better. No seaview. Nice pool area. The living room, three out of the four bedrooms were air-conditioned. Wish the twin room and the kitchen had air-conditioning as well. Dina, the caretaker/hostess was very pleasant, efficient, and accommodating. Dina was the saving grace.
A vehicle (or Uber) was definitely needed as there were no stores, or restaurants within walking distance. The bathroom on the main floor was piled with cleaning supplies. Some air conditioner remote controls had run out of power. There was a moderate ant infestation in the kitchen. The shower in the master suite did not drain. When Dina tried to plunger it, sewage started to backup (yuck!). One of plastic pool chairs collapsed when someone sat on it. Luckily he was not injured. The biggest problem was that there was no hot water after 7 pm for the first three days. On the fourth day, there was no hot water at all, not even in the morning. Dina came over right away and started making calls to find an electrician to fix the hot water solar/electric tank. A part, not available, was required to fix the tank. An immediate and interim fix was made, by switching the hot water system from solar to electric. Water then started dripping non-stop from the roof onto the ground in two places. Dina responded and dealt with all these issues promptly. However, it would have been nice if there had been no issues at all.

Really nice villa with easy access ( 6-8 euro taxi) to Albufiera. The host was excellent and the arrival / check in was super simple.
The villa was really well equipped , large pool, plenty of sun beds and two sheltered eating areas . 4 large bedrooms 3 en-suite.
Overall really good .. only issue was that hot water was a little limited and evening showers were cold as hot water had run out.

Lovely property some great restaurants / shops within a short drive. A car is a must. Any questions were answered promptly. We paid extra for the pool to be heated which I would advise that time of year. Would definitely visit again.

Really good size villa with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Lots of supermarkets close by for easy self catering. Really good pool and a mostly quiet neighbourhood (right at the end a few loader groups had moved in around us). Easy communication with the villa manager and host.
We had a real mix of ages including grandparents and a toddler and felt the local area had loads to offer all of us. It's a short drive to the old town, a marina, a really good shopping centre, a park with playground equipment and waterpark/sea zoo.
Would recommend renting a car, but there are loads of ubers available too (a trip into town is less than 5 euros).
If I am being super critical there were quite a few bulbs that needed changing and some basic repairs that needed doing (windows that didn't open, and dented plasterboard). But maybe they hadn't got round to sorting them after a busy main season.
Would happily stay again.

We have just got back from a week staying at this beautiful Villa, the photos are spot on, pool is a great size with a fabulous outside area. We were 2 families with children aged between 8 and 13 and they had a blast.
Very impressed with the cleanliness and how well equipped it is, they even provided pool towels.
Felisberto was great before travel and Dina is so lovely, she met us on arrival to give us a tour of the villa and a lovely welcome hamper went down a treat.
We loved the old town and spent a few evenings there watching singers/bands and having lovely meals.
It is a little way out, but only 7 - 10 minutes away in a taxi or uber from the marina and old town. We used uber quite a bit and worked very well for us.
We would 100% recommend this villa and we hope to return one day.

Six adults and one baby recently stayed at this lovely villa for 7 nights. Very spacious with two bedrooms upstairs and two down. Well equipped and very secure. We spent most of our time around the great pool (didn't require heating at this time of year). The neighbourhood is very quiet, not really walkable into Albufeira in the heat and with a baby but we used ubers all of the time which were brilliant. The nearby castello beach (uber again) is nice and you can kayak, paddleboard and hire sunbeds there. Lots of boat trips from the marina. We met Dina on arrival who was lovely but didn't have to contact her as we had no problems. We visited Restaurante Dom Dinis - highly recommended, superb food. We would love to return to the villa again. One teeny small issue is that there is no lock on the separate downstairs toilet which hopefully could be provided.

The villa was outstanding in its space and quality of fittings. The pool was excellent, all the rooms were very comfortable. It's a little out of town, so a car is required. We had an excellent stay

A great villa in a quiet neighbourhood, only 5 mins drive from Albufeira town and marina. Very spacious inside with a good-sized pool. House was very well equipped. The manager was a dream to deal with. Highly recommended!

Excellent villa
We had a lovely stay in the villa, everything was beautifully clean and nothing was too much trouble for Dina who was always at the end of the phone if we had questions. We found everyone very friendly, the weather was beautiful and the food when we ate out was delicious. We strongly recommend the boat trip around the caves and also the jeep safari both of which we thoroughly enjoyed. We all said we would love to come back to the villa next year!

Lovely spacious villa in a great location within a 10min drive to central Alburferia and also close to lots of smaller surrounding villages. Also close to some lovely beaches, we particularly liked Salgados. The pool was lovely but needed heating as our visit was out of season. Great communication with Owner/Manager throughout.

A beautiful villa in an ideal location a short drive away from albufiera old town. The pictures don’t do this place justice, can’t recommend highly enough. Felisberto & Dina were both great hosts, who were more than accommodating letting us check in early and check out late.

heaven on earth
amazing villa everything you could want from a home from home holiday with the added bonus of a swimming pool and the sun we didnt hire a car the men walked to the supermarket did the shopping and got a taxi back we used bruno,s taxis who Dina reccommended and they were great value for money and gave us great tips on beaches and restuarants we loved our holiday and my daughter and family are planning on booking this villa again next year do not hesitate to book this villa if you get the chance you will not be disappointed.

Lovely Villa
One of the best villas we’ve stayed in - and we’ve stayed in a lot! Pool was lovely and warm and with green space around. Villa was spacious and decorated to a high standard.
We didn’t think Albufeira or the local Spar was walkable for us (age range 8-72) but we’ve now found the delights of Uber and they were brilliant!
We don’t usually go back to the same place, but this villa is one we are considering again for next year already.

Lovely villa in a great location
We liked this villa so much that we returned for a second time. The villa is spacious and well equipped. The swimming pool is great; it's heated to a nice temperature and the children spent most of the holiday in it!
The villa itself is in a nice private residential area, but is just a short drive from lots of lovely beaches and restaurants.

Great villa, wonderful Manager
Dina manages the Villa superbly - very attentive. The property is well located between Albufeira and Gale in a quiet residential area. It’s spacious and in good order - pool is great although we found the chlorine a little challenging so take goggles and appropriate hair care products. We plan to return.

Great villa with everything you need to make your stay perfect
The villa is just as described and in line with all the previous reviews. Everything at the villa is first class and everything needed for a great stay is provided.
We were a party of six and spent most of our ten days at the villa with just an occasional trip to albufeira. I would recommend having a car just for the supermarket which we visited most days. Taxis to albufeira were reliable and cheap.
The pool was perfect and quite deep at one end.
I would definitely return and recommend for any type of group

Amazing villa in a lovely setting
The villa is a lovely, modern and well renovated with lots of space. It was in a quiet complex and was not too far to walk to the supermarket. The pool was clean and well kept. It was the perfect set up for my group and we had a wonderful time!
We didn't have a car and used the taxi service offered, which was reliable, well priced and very friendly.
The wifi was limited when all members in the house were on it, but only really effected us when we were trying to download programmes. There are also not many of the basics for cooking, such as pepper, sugar or cooking oil.

Amazing villa in a great location
We stayed at this villa with our 2 children and another family also with 2 children. We had an amazing time. The villa was fantastic, it was immaculate and had everything we needed. The location was great, near to a Fab beach and also close to shops and town. The pool and grounds were also fantastic and our children loved using them. Dina was also great, kept in touch in case we needed anything and left a lovely bottle of wine and fruit basket with several other bits to welcome us. I wouldn't hesitate in going back here and definitely recommend to others. Thank you!

Lovely villa and pool
The villa was lovely. Very spacious and well equipped. Located up in the hills, it is far enough away from the main town to be relaxing, but local supermarket and beaches are just a short drive away.
The pool is great and was heated to a nice temperature so we were able to use it even though the weather wasn’t that great during our stay.
We tried several of the local beaches (within a 10min drive of the villa) and they were all very nice.

The villa has everything you could possibly need. It was clean and spacious. We enjoyed the walk into Albuferia, but would probably recommend a car for going to the supermarket! I have nothing negative to say about the property - one of the best we have stayed in.

We stayed at this villa and had a fantastic time - from our youngest child to our 87 year old grandfather. Villa is beautiful. Dina so helpful and friendly! Felisberto was easy to contact and very helpful when we landed. Very good location, although pleased we had a car! I would definitely recommend this property to friends.
