We enjoyed a fantastic family holiday in this house. The house was huge, full of character and very well equipped with everything we needed. The owners greeted us on arrival, were very friendly and spoke English.
The village was quiet but my teenage boys still made friends with some locals and they played football together in the evenings. We took a day trip into Paris by catching the train from nearby Sens. There wasn’t a shop in the village but there is an Aldi supermarket about 6 miles away where we bought everything we needed.
If you are looking for a quiet holiday where you can immerse yourself in French culture then this is the place for you.

Village très calme et les villageois sympathiques. La maison est vaste ce qui permet a chacun de garder son intimité.
Il y en a pour tous le monde Nature : balades, vélo et randonnées et pour les autres visites de la région ou activité en extérieur.
Les propriétaires sont très avenant, et je les en remercie.

Il serait utile de préciser que le gite se situe au pied de l'église qui sonne régulièrement de 7h00 à 22h00. Les enfants sont réveillés chaque matin par le son des cloches qui durent au moins 10'.
la chambre du haut sous les toits est utilisable en cas de forte chaleur.
