About this apartment rental
85 sqm spacious apartment fully renovated in September 2011. 50 m away from the shops and at the heart of the village activity; day nursery, ski school, cinemas, ice rink, post office, etc. Located on the runs, superb 180º mountain view, not overlooked. 4 separate bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 separate WC, and WC-shower, open-plan kitchen with small bar, fully equipped new kitchen (oven, freezer, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, raclette set, etc.)

Lovely location really convenient on arrival and departure although just make sure you know the right building as it was not clear which block the apartment was in also worth getting the front door code prior to arrival

Really convenient for the slopes, bars and shops of Bruyères.
Apartment building was surprisingly quiet, I enjoy being so close to the piste that I could be woken early by the bashers.
Just be aware that vehicles above 1.9m don’t fit in the covered parking

Firstly, the apartment itself is good. It's in a great location, loads of crockery, cutlery etc. and very warm and plenty of space. The thing that let us down was the check in. We received ZERO information prior to arriving at Les Biellaz at 7:30pm. We had no way of entering the building let alone the apartment. My 2 calls to the owner were unanswered, but luckily a helpful Frenchman called the owner and he answered for us to be told that our key was at a shop called SkiBox approx 1km away. It was due to shut at 7pm, so our new friend phoned them and asked them to stay open for us, which thankfully they did as luckily they were still tidying the shop. The only way we knew the code of the apartment building was to ask some others who were leaving what it was. The owner never told us, not even on the information sheet that was eventually sent.When we got in, we had to find 3 fuse boxes to turn the electricity on (again, we weren't told about this) and then we found that there were no sheets or towels. We had to hire these the next day. If we had been told about this, we could have brought our own.Extremely stressful check in spoiled an otherwise very pleasant stay, nice flat, great skiing, lovely little town, everything else was absolutely fine.My suggestions would be to ensure that people were given the code to the apartment block, tell them sheets and towels are not provided and put a key in a number locked box outside the flat so that people arriving late can get in.
