Nestled in Sanary-sur-Mer, this charming villa for $154 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Rating 3 stars. Interior renovated in January 2015. Available all year. Very quiet, 3 minutes walk from the beach and 5 minutes walk from the harbor and shops. Large garden and closed private parking, WiFi. Sanary kept the character of a small fishing port. Located in the heart of Provence, between Marseille and Toulon, it is an ideal location to enjoy the holidays at the seaside with family or couple. Sanary offers five beaches where the city ensures safety and hygiene and comfort. bathing waters covered by the classification 'A'. Along the coast, the visitor can enjoy the unspoilt nature of Sanaryen coastline. About 8 Km long, it has a succession of unspoilt nature: Dark red rocks sculpted by the wind and cut off rock cliffs alternate with coves and pebble beaches, topped with pine trees. Vacationers appreciate the charm of Provence markets Sanary, welcoming pedestrian streets, shaded squares and nightlife in high season (fireworks, concerts, exhibitions, games ..). In summer there is a wide range of activities in Sanary for large and small (first diving, sailing, whale watching and dolphins, tennis, hiking on the coast, walks in the hinterland of fields of olive, parasailing, wildlife park, bowling, boat trips and cycling, boat rentals, visits the creeks of Cassis and the islands of Porquerolles and Embiez). When car trips you cross the beautiful landscape with vineyards and olive groves. At night you can go have a drink at Le Castellet a charming village. .You Can also choose to make cultural excursions to Aix en Provence (Cézanne Town), Les Baux, Avignon (Papal Palace), Arles (Van Gogh city with its arenas) and also Saint Tropez, Nice (Old Town, Promenade des Anglais), Grasse (perfume city) and Saint Paul Vance (Fondation Maeght). For wine lovers, the terroir of Bandol wines extends amphitheater Massif de la Sainte Baume, to the Mediterranean. The vineyards, covering about 1500 hectares, is planted on terraces (terraces) and south-facing facing the sea. It enjoys sunshine almost 3000 hours per year. Sanary is also the historical city of scuba diving modern. This is where Captain Cousteau and his friends (the Mousquemers) experimented the famous Mask 'Dogfish'. (To visit the Museum Frédéric Dumas diving). Sanary is very pleasant back season for those who have young children of school age and for pensioners who have the chance to enjoy a holiday in spring or autumn when there is least. The climate is mild and the sun shines with a less intense heat in summer. Families return to school holidays and even to enjoy the end of year holidays in Provence when the city is full of light with its Christmas tree on the town hall square. Provençal crèche in the church is one of the favorite attractions for children. Welcome baby !! No need to carry everything for breakfast. You will find there a cot, bath, high chair and a walker. Sanary is an ideal place to enjoy her maternity leave with her newborn before resuming work. You can do everything on foot. No problems for walks if you wear your baby in stroller or walk the streets are flat. the sea can be easily along the harbor side. New parents and little can make good naps in the quiet garden. Zauberhaft
Sehr angenehmer+schneller Kontakt mit der Vermieterin und Concierge. Das Haus liegt fabelhaft in wenigen Metern zum Meer und zum Ortskern. Gegenüber ist ein Hotel- man ist halt im Ort. Im Garten ist es schön zu sitzen, die Möbel dort sind rustikal (Grill und eine Liege sind auszutauschen weil kaputt), auf jeden Fall Mückenspray mitnehmen. Es sind zwei Schlafzimmer vorhanden und ein Zimmer mit Schlafcouch, Küche Bad, Essraum. Sanary ist für uns der zauberhafte Ort zwischen Cassis und Toulon. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Urlaub mit Freunden und Hunden
Wir haben mit zwei Paaren und zwei Hunden zwei wunderschöne Wochen in Sanary verbracht. Die gesamte Abwicklung lief absolut reibungslos und der der Aufenthalt war wunderbar. Insbesondere das Grundstück ist mit Hunden eine große Freude. Ankommen, Wagen abstellen, Tor zu und sich keine Sorgen machen! Zum Strand und zum Hafen sind es kurze Wege und der Ort an sich mit seinem tollen Mark ist sehr schön.

Propriété agréable et très bien située. Accueil impeccable, maison très propre. Seuls bémols : absence de clim et livraison bruyante le matin du restaurant qui est par ailleurs excellent !

Très bon séjour à Sanary
Nous avons passé une excellente semaine à Sanary. La maison est bien située, on peut se rendre à pied au port, dans le centre-ville, à la plage. La jolie "montée de l'oratoire" est aussi toute proche. La maison est agréable, bien équipée, avec 2 belles chambres et un grand jardin. L'accueil et le départ étaient bien organisés.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus
Wir (zwei um die Sechzig und ein Spaniel) haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in dem grosszügigen Hausteil mit dem originellen Raumkonzept. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, gutes Kochgeschirr etc. Die 140 Betten sind tip-top und für uns perfekt, solange jeder eines für sich hat ;) Die Gartenmöblierung ist grosszügig mit einem sauberen grossen Holzkohlengrill. Überhaupt ist der mediterrane Garten ein Genuss (bis auf die vielen Mücken...) und wir haben auch den Wintergarten am Abend sehr gern benutzt.
Die Lage ist ideal, wie beschrieben nahe dem Badestrand und beim Ort. Alle Einkäufe können problemlos zu Fuss gemacht werden und man könnte das Auto eigentlich stehen lassen. Schöner als der Strasse entlang sind die zwei Wege über den Hügel ins Städtchen.
Mit der Toreinfahrt hatten wir meist keine Probleme. Das Hotel/Restaurant vis-a-vis ist kein Gourmettempel, hat aber einen hübschen Garten. Leider wurden wir in den zwei Wochen, vier mal von betrunkenen Gästen, die in den frühen Morgenstunden unnötig lange auf der Strasse herum krakelten, geweckt.
Alles in allem: sehr schön und sehr empfehlenswert
Für Hundehalter: Orte, wo man den Hund frei laufen lassen kann, gibt es in der näheren Umgebung nicht wirklich. Im nahe gelegenen Parc Victorin lassen trotz Verbot manche ihre Hunde frei laufen. Ansonsten empfehlen wir den Strand zwischen Hyères Les Salines (nach dem FKK Strand) Richtung Miramar oder die Bucht Calanque du Port d‘Alon. Die Franzosen sind halt auch nicht gerade vorbildliche Hundehalter. Es hat sich zwar in den letzten Jahren gebessert, aber es liegen immer noch viele Hundehaufen herum.

Schönes Haus mit einem wunderschönen Garten. Die Lage war toll, alles zu Fuß erreichbar . Wir haben eine ganze Woche genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Schönes Haus in ruhiger Lage
Das Haus hat eine für uns im ersten Moment etwas ungewöhnliche Raumaufteilung, wir haben uns aber schnell daran gewöhnt. Alles war sauber und gut ausgestattet. Auch die Betten hatten, wenn auch nur 1,40 m breit, eine gute Qualität (man hat sich nicht unfreiwillig in der Mitte getroffen 😉). Den ein oder anderen Stuhl oder den Gartentisch plus Sonnenschirm könnte man bei Gelegenheit vielleicht mal austauschen, aber ansonsten gab es am Haus nichts zu bemängeln. Die Verwalterin war sowohl bei der Übergabe am Anfang als auch am Ende sehr freundlich und auch flexibel hinsichtlich der Zeiten (spricht allerdings nur französisch). Auf der anderen Straßenseite ist ein kleines Hotel mit Restaurant und Bar, das aber trotzdem sehr ruhig ist und wenig Lärm macht. Nur die Parksituation ist manchmal etwas schwierig. Man hat auf dem Grundstück zwar einen eigenen Stellplatz, es kam aber zweimal vor, dass unsere Einfahrt komplett zugeparkt war und wir daher nicht auf unser Grundstück fahren konnten. Auch bei freigelassener Einfahrt braucht man manchmal gefühlte 20 Züge, bis man mit einem größeren Auto durch das Tor fahren kann, weil seitlich die Autos sehr nah parken. Alles in allem haben wir uns aber sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten einen schönen Urlaub.

Ruhig und zentral gelegen
Gute ruhige Unterkunft für Aktivitäten in Sanary-sur-Mer und Umgebung (ohne Auto) und netter Empfang. Für Wanderungen wie gros cerveau, Calanques usw. geht nichts ohne einen fahrbaren Untersatz.
Wir hatten tolles Wetter und genossen die Küstenpfade bei Port d‘Alon de Madrague, Bandol, Cassis und Marseille. Leider manchmal viel Verkehr an der Côte d‘Azur.

Très agréable séjour
Appartement avec jardin très agréable, à 3 mn du centre ville de Sanary, belle salle de bain avec douche et baignoire. Possibilité de garer la voiture dans la cour. Le jardin a permis de passer de très bons moments au soleil et mon chat l'a beaucoup apprécié également. Quartier calme.

Très bon séjour. La location est agréable et à proximité de la plage et du centre ville, le tout sans voiture. Le jardin permet de profiter pleinement des belles journées.
Un ventilateur dans la chambre du haut serait le bienvenu car il y fait très chaud en plein été.

Lage der Ferienwohnung und Zustand waren gut!
Die Ferienwohnung liegt in ruhiger Lage und ist für zwei Personen (wir hatten noch einen kleine Hund dabei) gut geeignet, - alleine schon wegen des separaten Gartens. Bett, Bad, Küche und Wohnungseinrichtung waren in ordentlichem Zustand, wir haben uns wohlgefühlt. Kleiner Wermutstropfen: der Nachbar lässt den Kot seines Hundes an der Grundstücksgrenze liegen, dadurch kommt es je nach Wind und Wetter zu Geruchsbelästigungen im Garten. Grundsätzlich können wir diese Wohnung weiterempfehlen. Mit der Vermietern Frau Mehigan und Ihrem Wohnungsverwalter haben wir alle Angelegenheiten reibungslos klären können.

Beach OK but sea dense with plant flotsam essential to local ecology so not removed, you have to wade through it for 10 feet or so. Sea here can be quite rough. Bandol short drive has much nicer beach but less interesting town. Sanary in high season has tourist market every night, music event and other things going on. We thoroughly enjoyed it despite the mossies!

We loved this house, that is very close to the beach and the village of Sanary. The house is complete with a great bathroom and lots of kitchen utensils. Also the garden is very nice with two sunbeds and a nice table set. The bedrooms are spacious and the vide is very nice. Unfortunately the lady that welcomed us was not that friendly. And again when leaving she didn't leave a good impression. We loved our stay at your property and would definitely return. Thanks a lot for your hospitality!

Des vacances bien reposantes
Nous avons passé des vacances très reposantes dans un endroit vraiment acceuillant avec son magnifique jardin bien protégé et une maison pleine de charme.
La maison est située au bout d'une rue calme (impasse!) mais quand même proche du centre, du port et de plage (tous à 3 minutes à pied!). Le séjour était merveilleux, sans besoin d' une voiture.

Nous avons passé de bonnes vacances sous le soleil. La région est magnifique.
La maison est bien équipée, le jardin agréable et beau.
Par contre la rue avec le restaurant devant est super bruyante et pas facile du tout de se garer quand on a 2 véhicules.
La plage de portissol n'est pas très propre ( algues noires ) pas agréable de se baigner.
Bien accueillit à notre arrivée.

Séjour agréable
Villa agréable et bien équipée située à proximité du centre ville et de la plage dans un quartier calme. Un hôtel restaurant se trouve en face, et cela peut occasionner un peu de bruit et des problèmes de stationnement mais le jardin est spacieux et bien arboré et il isole bien de la route.
Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans un région superbe.
L'aménagement est conforme aux photos mais l'emplacement indiqué sur le site ne correspond absolument pas . La maison se situe dans le quartier de Portisol et se trouve donc un peu plus éloignée du port.
La présence des WC dans la douche est un inconvénient.
Je recommande cette location aux familles , visites touristiques

We had a wonderful time in Sanary and it is the merit of this house, too. It does what it promises, well-equipped, a nice garden and it does not look like the normal summer cottages, which can be found throughout Europe. For us it is French, especially inside. If somebody is not satisfied with it, just rent a castle. The distances to the beach and downtown Sanary take just a couple of minutes. We are back next year.

We had a wonderful time in Sanary and it is the merit of this house, too. It does what it promises, well-equipped, a nice garden and it does not look like the normal summer cottages, which can be found throughout Europe. For us it is French, especially inside. If somebody is not satisfied with it, just rent a castle. The distances to the beach and downtown Sanary take just a couple of minutes. We are back next year.

Maison très agréable avec un beau jardin
Nous avons passé deux semaines très agréable dans cette maison. Le jardin est très beau et on ne vois pas les voisins de l'appartement en haut.
La maison est très belle et nous sommes resté avec 5 personnes. La cuisine est très bien équipée. Il faut ammener les draps et les serviettes. La personne qui est responsable de la maison nous a dépanné immediatement (on nàvait pas ammené des draps et des serviettes). Sanary est une ville avec charme. La plage était très peuplée au mois d'aout mais la mer est belle. Nous avons fait des excursions à Aix, Cassis, Marseille, Toulon et Fréjus - pas trop loin et un paysage impressionant. Dans toute la maison il y a des peintures (faites par le propriétaire) de la région. La rue est très calme - seulement tard dans la nuit on entend parfois les clients du restaurant en face.

Une vraie villa de style provençal
Située dans un quartier très agréable et tranquille, proche de la ville et de la mer, cette villa remplit toutes les attentes de ceux qui souhaitent pouvoir profiter d'un séjour sans utiliser la voiture; très bien décorée, dotée d'une cuisine parfaitement équipée, et bénéficiant de trois grandes chambres à coucher, la maison et son jardin font passer des vacances vraiment agréables. Le Wifi est un plus pour ceux qui désirent rester connectés. Nous sommes restés 15 jours dans ce logement, en pleine période estivale, sans ressentir en quoi que ce soit l'agitation touristique, le voisinage étant constitué de villas et d'un restaurant (au demeurant réputé) qui n'est pas gênant.

Situation idéale proche du centre touristique et des commerces de Sanary à pied (700 mètres) et proche des plages. Location propre et bien tenue par une personne habitant à proximité. Jardin agréable isolant bien de la rue toute proche. Bon restaurant en face de la maison, créant une certaine animation dans la rue. Un véhicule est toutefois nécessaire pour explorer les petites bastides alentour ( Cadière, Castellet). Fin mai début juin sont des périodes très agréables, pas trop chaudes et avec moins de monde qu'en juillet août. Un séjour en basse saison serait certainement agréable, nous y songerons.

La maison est très bien située par rapport à la plage et au centre ville. Nous avons reçu un très bon accueil par la personne responsable. Le jardin est très agréable et dans l'ensemble, la maison, qui a un certain charme, est bien équipée. Nous avons apprécié ce séjour , Sanary est un endroit formidable mais nous notons quelques remarques: L'hôtel en face occasionne du bruit et des problèmes de stationnement. Il n'y a qu'une salle de bains avec WC à l'intérieur, ce qui est gênant pour 4 ou 6 personnes. Il n'est pas précisé qu'il y a d'autres locataires à l'étage du dessus.
