Great stay and have everything we needed.

The apartment is Elisabeth's home, so it has everything you are likely to need unlike a holiday let. Two good double bedrooms, a good sized living area more than adequate for four. Galley type kitchen, well equipped. Modern walk-in shower. Great location for exploring Lyon which has a fantastic public transport system, so you don't need a car day-to-day. Short walk to Vieux Lyon and the left bank bars on the Rhone. The Les Halles food market is on your doorstep. Bakery opposite and very good supermarket 5 minutes away. Elisabeth was helpful, responding to queries promptly and providing information. We had a lovely time.

Very enjoyable. The owner was very helpful and communicated with us as needed. Highly recommended.

Centrally located, Elisabeth's apartment is spacious with balconies at front and rear, high ceilings and beautiful decor, equipped with everything you will need and spotlessly clean.
In spite of its central location (a 20 minute walk from the restaurant district) it is quiet at night.
Would recommend it as the perfect place to stay in Lyon.

The apartment is tastefully appointed and decorated, with everything you need to experience living the French way.
You High end motorized blinds and shades, double pane glass makes it very quiet. Comfortable beds.
The apartment is a stone throw away from downtown Lyon and the not to be missed "les Halles Paul Bocuse".
Elizabeth Mossé was at the apartment to welcome us. She was the perfect host and we can’t thank her enough for her kindness.

We had a wonderful stay in this very well- appointed apartment. This beautiful and sunny apartment, situated in a superb area of Lyon , has everything one could wish for .It is charming and very comfortable and is situated in an ideal area The apartment is perfect in every way ..
The owner, Elisabeth, - was so very thoughtful and kind - even booking a taxi for us, on the day of our departure.
We would love to return just to have another stay in this fantastic apartment. Carol

Very beautiful apartment, centrally located and very easy to access train station and restaurants. Enough room to relax for 4 people. Elisabeth was wonderful with communication and very flexible to accommodate our schedule. I hope we get to return to such a wonderful place!

We spent a week in Elisabeth's apartment, and it was perfect for our stay. The furnishings are comfortable, the kitchen and bath well-equipped, and the interior design pleasing. Elisabeth was accommodating for our arrival time and was in touch via VRBO throughout our stay to attend to any needs. The location is quiet and close enough to walk to many of the sites. We second her recommendation of Daniel et Denise and La Reserve as excellent nearby dining places. Paul Bocuse, a food court a few blocks away, is worth a visit, serving an assortment of items from raw oysters to desserts. We were surprised that many restaurants in Lyon are closed on Saturday and Sunday, so be sure to check each restaurant's hours. We also recommend Les Lyonnaise in Vieux Lyon. If we return to Lyon, we would definitely try to stay in Elisabeth's apartment again.

This is an amazing property with an amazing host. Elisabeth was responsive, met us on arrival and accommodated our check out needs. The apartment was clean, very comfortable and quiet - it had everything we needed for our stay. Centrally located, you can easily walk to all the major attractions and there are excellent local restaurants. This is truly a five star rental in Lyon.

We stayed at Elisabeth‘s property for 3 weeks and never wanted for anything. It was clean, beautifully decorated and the perfect location. We felt very much “at home “.

We enjoyed Lyon immensely, and meeting Elisabeth an added delight,

We had a wonderful 2 week stay in Elizabeth’s apartment… the place is nicely decorated with wonderful art…. She gave us ideas for restaurants and also went as far as making a reservation for us
She also helped me in acquiring some art while I was there on vacation. If we go back to Lyon we would certainly rent this place again.

The property was in a great location to enjoy the many things Lyon has to offer.
The apartment was neat and clean and fully equipped.
Elisabeth was an excellent host.
Only issue was with the car parking at the Halles but that is another story.

My sister and I had the pleasure of spending June in Elisabeth’s home. I can’t remember ever having stayed at a Vacation rental with such an attentive and accommodating host. We had a regular conversation by email in advance. She met us on arrival and took the time to explain all of the appliances, even though she had prepared detailed, step by step, instructions in both English and French on how to use the dishwasher, washer/dryer, induction stove/oven, tv, Nespresso, regular coffee maker etc. Additionally, she left us well prepared for a month with lots of soap, dishwashing pods, laundry detergent, tp, paper towels, etc. Very very generous. She had lots of fluffy towels and beautiful linens. She also welcomed us with a special Lyon culinary specialty - a praline bread/cake, a bottle of local beer, and a bag of local Lyonnais candies. Her thoughtfulness was extrordinary! She was also kind enough to order a cab for the morning of our departure as the taxi company wanted a local number and I had none. She handled it all on our behalf - she could not have been more attentive, caring or responsive.
The apartment is lovely. 2 bedrooms and one bath as indicated. One bedroom had an eastern exposure and one a western exposure. The apartment was delightful and located in a perfect part of the city. A real neighborhood where real people live with shops and restaurants in the area frequented not by tourists but by the people who live in Lyon.
The cool morning air is lucious. On a very hot day, fans are available but as is the case in nearly all French apartments, there is no a/c.
Highly accessible to several bus lines which run every few minutes to different parts of the city, we regularly commented on what a great location we had found (quite by chance of course). You can easily walk west across the Rhone river to the Presqu’isle in 10 to 15 minutes and actually keep going across the Saone River to Vieux Lyon, the historic district. In fact, the city itself is highly walkable and accessible. We walked 5-6 miles or more nearly every day just because it was so beautiful. Just north of the apartment by about a mile is the Tete d’Or - a magnificent park!
We ate breakfast at home, lunch out - our our main meal - and we “assembled” a light dinner.
We fell in love with Lyon and our experience was enhanced by the apartment, its wonderful location and its charming and attentive host!

The apartment of Madame Mosse is a wonderful place from which to explore Lyon. Many points of interest lie within walking distance. The apartment is quiet, beautiful and very comfortable. Madame Mosse is a very helpful host. We highly recommend the apartment and will certainly come back ourselves.

We knew that this would be a great stay when receiving messages from the property owner Elisabeth. She was clear, helpful and friendly prior to our arrival.
The apartment itself was just perfect, two bedrooms both with comfortable beds, immaculately clean and with every household object you needed for a comfortable stay (and more). The location was great, just a 10-15 minute walk across the river to the centre of town, and its host of bars and restaurants.
Next time I am in Lyon this apartment would be top of my list to stay - and it should be top of yours too :-) Elisabeth is fabulous and so is her beautiful home.

This is one of the best apartments we've stayed in. Immaculate, modern and so organized. Everything is written out in both French and English. Instructions to every appliance, everything you need to know. Because it is her actual home, it is very well-equipped with everything you would need. Elizabeth met us when we arrived (she made sure we could meet at a mutually convenient time) and brought us through the appartment explaining everything, answering all our questions. We needn't have worried becuase it was all written down on paper in plastic covering. She was also available by phone if we needed anything. The apartment is in the 6th which is quiet in the evening. We walked everywhere. You will need to walk about 10-15 min to get to the Presqu'ile. The old town is on the other side of the second river, the Saone so there's a lot of walking in Lyon. If you are not a walker, there's the metro, tram or bus so it's easy to get around. I liked the fact that at the end of the day we were back in our comfortable apartment in a quiet neighborhood. That said, there are plenty of restaurants including an excellent creperie within 5 min. Also down the street within 5 min is Les Halles de Paul Bocuse and a Piccard. This is a wonderful apartment for anyone wanting to visit Lyon

This is a quiet, beautiful apartment in the Part Dieu area of Lyon. It is the host's home and she has decorated it with interesting art, comfortable furnishings and a very well stocked kitchen, bathroom and living space. It is convenient to Lyon's excellent transit system and a comfortable walk to the Rhone and into the older parts of town. Our host is very attentive to detail and provided many helpful touches. She greeted us at the apartment and made sure we understood all the details of the apartment and quickly responded to questions during our stay.

Excellent, immaculate, well-appointed apartment in Lyon. It was convenient to every important site as well as walkable to the market. (Paul Bocuse extravaganza is less than 2 blocks away!) The owner was quite accommodating with great attention to detail. The kitchen was well equipped and the apartment was tastefully decorated. Exceeded our expectations in every way.

This is a lovely property and Elisabeth is a wonderful host. The apartment feels bigger than it is due to a terrific layout and the way it’s furnished and decorated. We stayed here for 6 weeks and for approx 2 weeks had guests and we were very comfortable. The property is in a residential/light commercial area of Lyon close to Les Halles (2 blocks) and a short walk to the Vieux Ville and the “must see” places . Both in the neighborhood and a short distance away are tons of fabulous restaurants. We shopped at the local bakery (across the street), grocery store and fresh farmers market along the Soane which was a 15 min walk. The main train station, Part Dieux is less than a 15 min walk with trains to practically anyplace you want to travel.Elisabeth is very easy to communicate with and is very accommodating as well. As we were leaving she even arranged for a very early morning taxi to take us to the airport at a reasonable price (if you dont have a lot of luggage the Rhône Express is the way to go from Part-Dieux.We highly recommend staying here. When we return we plan to!

This flat is so convenient to EVERYTHING and it was spotless and well appointed. Elisabeth had clear instructions for everything (dishwasher, stove, coffee maker, etc.) in the flat in French and English which was very helpful and she answered every question we asked promptly. She also left clear directions for traveling from the Lyon Airport. We tried a few of the restaurants she recommended and all were top notch. Note that if there are any particular highly rated restaurants you want to try, reservations are a very good idea.We stayed at Elisabeth's flat for 5 days and could not have had a more enjoyable stay. We will certainly stay there again if we ever return to Lyon and we HIGHLY recommend this as a great place to stay.A few notes on the Lyon bike share Velo-v:There is a Velo-v station right outside of the flat which was very convenient. Just be careful that the app "knows" your bike has been returned or you will get charged 35.00 EUR for a full day! (You can tell because the timer on the app should stop after you return the bike. If the timer has not stopped, release and return the bike until it does stop). Also it took us a few tries to understand what to "swipe" to release a particular bike. You need to pick the station # of the bike you want and swipe on that station.

This is a very comfortable apartment. It is light and airy and dual aspect with large windows facing east and west and a west facing balcony. It is fully equipped with everything required for a stay. The apartment which is on the sixth floor is in a very smart block in a good neighbourhood with shops to hand. It has easy access to transport and is only about 10/15 minutes walk to the centre of Lyon and the old town. It is also within walking distance of the Eurostar terminal at Lyon Part Dieu. The owner Elizabeth is very helpful and writes good english. She provided all the information required and responded promptly and extremely pleasantly to e-mails. We would certainly return to the apartment if visiting Lyon again .

We spent a month in Elisabeth’s apartment and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is very well-furnished, with artwork throughout and new kitchen appliances. It is comfortable and spacious and has a great deal of natural light and ventilation from windows on the east and west walls. The apartment can easily accommodate four adults.Elisabeth had clear instructions in English and French for operating the appliances and for good neighbor etiquette. She also recommended a trip to the Medieval village of Annecy, a 2 hour train trip to the northeast at the base of the Alps, situated on Lake Annecy. It was worth the day’s trip to see the countryside outside of Lyon and to learn about this quaint village. We were looking for an apartment in a quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of tourist centers and Elisabeth’s apartment was perfect. It was also just a short walk or bus ride from all of Lyon’s attractions. We often walked across the Rhone to the center of Lyon (about 10 minutes) or farther across the Saone to Vieux Lyon (about 20 minutes). We also loved the springtime foliage at Parc de la Tete d’Or, a short bus ride to the north. We celebrated a birthday at the famous Bouchon Lyonnais, Daniel & Denise Crequi, a short 2 block walk. Fine dining in a casual, friendly atmosphere! As other reviewers have noted, there is a grocery store about three blocks away and a wonderful boulangerie just across the street (we went there almost every day for fresh bread and croissants). For finer fare, Les Halles de Lyon Paul Bocuse is a short two blocks away.We loved Elisabeth’s apartment and we would highly recommend it for a stay in Lyon.
