Nestled in Canyon Lake, this attractive cabin for $65 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. This modern contemporary cabin (also considered a tiny home) is only a 5-minute drive from the best swimming spot on Canyon Lake! (And only 1 minute from Canyon Lake Dam and boat launch!). It has a gorgeous deck, plus a washer, dryer, mini-fridge, and a fully equipped kitchen. It includes one queen-size mattress in the loft area and one comfortable full-size sofa bed in the living area. (Boat parking is available upon request.) PLEASE NOTE: WE JUST ADDED A SMART TV! Beautiful Zen Cabin is tucked away at the back of our private 4-acre property and right in the middle of all the action in the Texas Hill Country. It is only 4 miles from the famous "Whitewater Amphitheater" and "Tubing at the Horseshoe." We are located in a quiet and safe residential neighborhood, nestled amongst the trees and unnoticeable from the main road making it private and tranquil. You will have your own deck with three rocking chairs and a small open yard space with a dining table, propane grill with utensils, plus parking for up to two vehicles next to your cabin. We have other vacation rental cabins on our property (as well as our private homes), each of which has its own private area. We ensure that our guests have adequate personal space and privacy to enjoy the peacefulness of this magical property and all the wildlife that comes with it! We are very close to the Canyon Lake Dam... only a 1-minute drive or a 10-minute walk away. Visitors come from all over to walk, cycle, and run across this 1-mile long dam. The views are spectacular, and the best swimming spot on the lake is at the far side of the dam!

Perfect location for our overnight to see Spoon at the Whitewater Amphitheater. We were 12 minutes from the venue & returned after a fun night to this cozy little place, just right for the two of us. My husband sleeps late, so I woke up & had coffee (supplied by our hosts) & read my book in one of the rocking chairs on the patio. We’l definitely stay here again!

My husband and I stayed in the Zen Cabin overnight after enjoying a Willie Nelson/ZZ Top concert at the Whitewater Amphitheater (the property is approximately 8 minutes from the venue and many of the tubing companies). It would’ve comfortably slept 4 adult people as there is a full sized fold out bed in the living room area. The loft bed is a little bigger and both mattresses are comfortable. Really nice pillows, good water pressure and very good hot water. It is very clean, the amenities are all great for multiple nights if you want to cook. A charcoal grill is also available and it has a really nice patio. The property feels secluded, but it’s easy to find. There is this neat tree loft that provides a great view. This place is a gem of a find! If you’re doing a river float or a concert, BOOK THIS PLACE. There aren’t any unreasonable rules and the owners/permanent property residents are very nice. If you aren’t new to VBRO or AirBnB, you’ll definitely recognize that this place is really quite nice and very fairly priced for this area.

Super cute cabin. Has everything you need. Wildlife was amazing. A little less private than expected by the listing photos, surrounded by other rentals. The cats on the property are so cute and friendly.

My fiancé and I had such a great time staying here. It was so cozy and warm (it was 50 degrees and windy) and had everything you would need! The property is very easy to find and there’s a beautiful view of the lake that’s walking distance. Would definitely stay here again, 10/10!

It was the sweetest tiny love shack cabin! Very cool compound, very close to the preserve where we attended a wedding. Everything was very neat and clean and comfortable.

A very cute and clean cottage. A sweet kitty was there to greet us. The only hiccup was being able to unlock door after locking it. We are 60 year old women. We had to go to the owners home to get someone to help us unlock the door. We tried calling owner before 9:00 o'clock and did not answer. The cabin itself is adorable and well stocked with everything one would need.

What a fantastic place to stay. Deer seen frequently, lots of butterflies, a wonderful porch with rockers. I didn’t realize that I wasn't directly in the water, but in the long run it didn’t matter, because it was so close to get to. The cabin was just lovely, cool loft to sleep in, though very close to your head if you sit up (thank goodness I’m short, lol). A definite tiny home that is perfect for one or 2. I just loved it and hope to bring my husband here sometime, or come back here for another solo trip. Thanks for such a wonderful, impromptu, solo trip, thanks to Hurricane Ian! I will recommend it to anyone going to Canyon Lake.

This cabin is nestled near the river and was a perfect stay for us while seeing a concert at the whitewater amphitheater! Uber was able to find us and pick us up as well! Loved the tiny house and it was just perfect!

We got what we expected! A small tiny house with everything very clean and tidy. Not sure how I didn't catch this but there is no TV so keep that in mind, but it was relaxing, and we enjoyed it. We would book it again!

I booked a stay at the Zen Cabin for a work retreat; to work ON instead of IN my business. However, it happened that the Ice-pocalypse 2021 happened during my stay. That created an unusual circumstance for me and the property owners. They were thoughtful, communicative, and flexible. I loved the cabin and my stay (despite rolling black outs and not being able to walk the Canyon.) It was cozy, welcoming, and I was quite comfortable for my planned stay and longer. I will be going back. In the summer.

I stayed here by myself to get some alone time, clear my head, and work on some projects. The cabin was great for just me, but it is super tiny. Even with just a 2nd person there, I think it might be too small. Location is great. Went hiking/jogging at the dam/lake each day.

My husband and I decided to get away from Austin and unplug. I stumbled upon this super cute cabin and we were it disappointed. We loved staying there, enjoyed the friendly cats and hope to come back again maybe for a longer stay.
