So much space for large parties to spread out. Kitchen was very well equipped. The views were amazing and only a few miles from town. Cream teas and cider a bonus. The only good thing of 2020.

The location and size of the property are excellent for a large group of people.
The property was in a tired state and not well cleaned. We arrived to find no key (luckily someone was able to bring one within an hour), rubbish strewn around the site - old food on windows, bottles in ponds, half eaten crisp packet in a drawer - and there was blood on walls. None of the TVs had working remotes, there were no table tennis balls, and one of the annexes smelled fairly strongly of cigarette smoke. There are no keys for two of the barn rooms, which can only be locked and unlocked from the inside, the wifi is so bad that it cannot be used and the fire alarms went off at nearly 3am on our final night before long drives home with nothing appearing to have caused it.
The owners are looking to sell and have evidently lost interest in keeping the house in working order for guests, so despite it having potential as a great property, we couldn't recommend picking it for another stay. If you do end up staying, take plenty of cleaning products and prepare to do it yourself before any guests arrive, and do not expect the ammeneties as described in the property description.
