Nestled in the heart of a tiny postcard hamlet LA TERRASSE offers a haven of peace and absolute romanticism in the heart of Black Perigord
You will enjoy inside a spacious living room with lounge area, dining area, and beautiful kitchen, a large double bedroom, a small adjoining living room and a modern bathroom
For the comfort of our guests the living and the master bedrooms enjoy full AC !
Comfortably installed on the superb elevated terrace overlooking the countryside or languid near the private pool, you will conjugate the verb "farniente" at all times.
Interior Description

The glass entrance door opens onto the beautiful and spacious open plan living room, with its stone walls and high ceiling.
- Comfortable sofas and armchairs are set around the wood burning stove, perfect for cooler evenings in mid season; a television, lamps and a coffee table complete this cosy corner
- A dining area with wooden table, bench and chairs provide inside eating space for up to 6 people
- A fully fitted kitchen area, with painted units, central island, electric cooker, fridge freezer, diswasher, washing machine, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and toaster.
From the living room a glass door leads out onto the wonderful wooden balcony, where you can eat al fresco at the wooden table and chairs whilst contemplating the surrounding countryside!
A steep staircase descends to the garden level where you will find:
- A master bedroom with double bed, bedside tables, lamps and storage space, and glass door leading out to the enclosed garden.
- A second bedroom with a high quality sofa bed (130cm) which can be accessed via the master bedroom, ideal for a child; or accessed via the hallway and the communicating door can be closed assuring intimacy for both rooms. This room also benefits from a glass door giving access direct to the garden.
- A fully tiled shower room with shower, washbasin and toilet
WiFi internet connection throughout.

The enclosed garden, which can be accessed either via a wooden staircase descending from the balcony, or by the french doors opening from both bedrooms, comprises no fewer than three tables and chairs, in different spots. It is completely private, protected by the established shrubs, and enables you to soak up the sun, or relax in a shady corner.
The large garden and private pool are situated just across the country lane . The pool measures 6.5 x 3m, and has sunloungers and parasols. A table and chairs are also available for relaxing meals in the large garden, and around the pool.
Private parking for 2 cars.

The property was very attractive and comfortable with everything we needed for our 9 day stay, there was a little confusion on the day of our arrival about having to leave a 400 Euro cash deposit for damage, which was only mentioned in an email 4 hours before we arrived, but this was quickly resolved as the owners were communicative by email. Marie Jo who seems to manage the property and met us on arrival, also saw us off when we left and was lovely.

Perfect for hot summer days to relax at the pool. You don‘t want to explore when you have the pool and huge garden with plenty of shade to stay. A lovely location for two. Very nice with the bedroom downstairs when it is really hot. We had all of our meals outside on the balcony looking over the valley.

My husband and I had a fantastic holiday at La Terrasse. The house is superbly equipped and extremely tastefully renovated with top quality fittings. The terrace is the perfect spot for relaxing with a book, and a glass of wine and enjoying the peace and quiet. The pool was much appreciated during the hot days, and is so very private. The ideal place for recharging our batteries! We would love to come back!
