We all had a wonderful time. The house was perfect, fit all of us comfortably. The lake was beautiful. Patty was very responsive. Our only issue was with the cleaning. There was trash left under some the beds, the rug in the main bathroom was wet and had a very weird dog pee smell to it, and most of the towels had weird smells, even after washing. Other than that, if we get the chance, we would definitely return to this house.

Great place for our out of town family and friends who came in for our daughter’s wedding. Wish we had more time to enjoy it. Plenty of room to spread out. New living room furniture was very nice. Easy access to the lake. Patty was very prompt in answering our questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Patty was kind, helpful, organized, and easy to communicate with prior to and during our stay. The location of the house wasn't bad. It's not super close to things, but the drive to get to stores and such was about 15-20 mins. We found a few nice parks/playgrounds for things to do with kids. The drive to Mountain Creek Park in Sherrill's Ford was worth it-great playground, pickleball courts, picnic tables, hiking trails, etc. The yard was big with room for kids to play outside and we even brought a portable net to set up to play badminton and volleyball and had plenty of space. The fire pit was a nice addition for things for us to do. Two very large TVs in common spaces were great. The extra refrigerator in the basement was super helpful for a large group with a lot of food and beverages. The house itself needs a lot of TLC. We liked the actual space and convienence of the house itself-having six bedrooms on three different floors and six bathrooms was wonderful with a large group. But a lot of the house has gotten worn down by the elements and by guests. We did not have enough towels, both sets of washers and dryers either didn't work at all or took triple the amount of time, there was mold in the one basement bathroom, almost every blind in the house had broken pieces, there was a broken vase in a bedroom, and the furniture is just feeling very used and tired. Lots of wear and tear. Lots of stains on carpets. There were cracks in multiple places on countertop in kitchen which can trap bacteria. Things just felt very tired/used/dirty/outdated. The living room couches and coffee table, breakfast nook table and chairs, the kitchen counter and bar stool chairs, and the dining room floral tablecloth with cheap plastic cover on top make the house feel old in style and unclean. It just makes you feel like the money you're spending for the week should be going towards repairing and replacing some of the items around the house. We picked this house because it was "in the middle" of PA and Fl for family to get together for the holidays. We also went with it bc reviews were all good. I'm not sure we would choose this exact house again in the future unless we knew some of the maintenance issues were addressed and some things were replaced.

I spoke with the owner a few weeks before check in and I asked if I can store my jet ski for 3 weeks at the location, I offered to Pay to leave it on the property (the owner insisted it was no issue and no Payment was needed for the jet ski) the day prior to leaving I followed all the instructions and started the dishwasher and laudtry prior to leaving. The garbage was taking out to the can. The owner called me a few hours after departure and said the house was a mess, I have rented over 50 times from this site and others and never have I had an issue. I asked her if she could send pictures. She told me I had to overnight her a check for $150 or she will give me a bad review. I again asked for Pictures and she refused stating the house was cleaned now by the cleaning crew. Ultimately she stated there Was a bowl left on the sink downstairs and a bag of garbage left on the back porch. She went on to throw the jet ski in my face and how it caused all types of issues for her. She was very unethical asking for the payment to be overnighted and would not send me the pictures. Also she advised Me to go through her direct next time and not the site. I was very disappointed by the major overreaction and demand for money . I would not recommend renting from her ever.

Unfortunately I had to have major surgery the week prior to this booking and my friends stayed without me. I know they enjoyed their long weekend there.
