We’ve just got back from almost two weeks at this wonderful house, and we miss it already! There is plenty of space, with four bedrooms and two bathrooms, and gorgeous outside area that takes in a good-sized pool, two dining tables, a large lawn and parking for at least two cars, as well as a garage. Everything you need is here – the kitchen is excellently equipped with pots, pans, matching tableware and cutlery (including decent cooking knives) and has a huge fridge with cold water dispenser. The showers have great water pressure, and aircon in all the bedrooms ensured quality sleep whatever the temperature. The bedrooms also have ample storage and – a rarity with rentals – lots of hangers! It’s just a 10-minute stroll to charming St Didier, which offers a selection of restaurants and shops/bakeries, as well as a market on Mondays and a semi-restored castle with beautiful grounds to wander around. Really clear instructions regarding access and keys were received from the hosts in advance, plus Danielle arrived within minutes of us texting her to say we’d arrived and gave us all the other information we needed. We would absolutely love to come back!

We had the most amazing week in this beautiful villa which exceeded our expectations. Everything about the villa was perfect. It was clean, spacious and well equipped. The local village was only a five minute walk away and had a number of bakeries, restaurants and cafes as well as a local spar shop for anything forgotten in the supermarket! The nearest supermarket we found was around a 7 minute drive away which compared to other villas we’ve stayed in was also a pleasant surprise. There was a lovely market in Saint Didier on Monday morning which was well worth a visit. We also visited the very pretty village of Pernes-les-fontaines, Carpentras(very beautiful with a huge market on Fridays) and L’isle-sur-la-Sorgue which is possibly one of the prettiest little towns we’ve ever been to in France. For any cyclists interested in the area you can literally see Mont Ventoux from the road approaching the Villa. It was incredibly hot last week so we spent many a hour in the pool also. Plenty big enough for our party of 6 adults with a rather ingenious pool robot for cleaning! Lots of outdoor space for dining and playing cards in the evening. As always at night some insect repellent comes in handy! The air con in the bedrooms was also fabulous. We all slept so well despite the heat. Overall I can’t speak highly enough of this villa. Would 100% recommend and would definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you
