South facing villa with beautiful river views and located 15 minutes from the center of Porto. In a small marina on the banks of the Rio Douro, very quiet, near the beaches (5 minutes) of the river and 15 minutes from the seaside resort of Espinho (Atlantic Ocean). A large secure swimming pool with garden furniture, 2 terraces, barbecue, music. washing machine, dishwasher, toys and books for children Dvd, satellite tv towels and sheets included Shops nearby Fishmonger and baker spend 2 times a week in front of house. Possibility rental boat, jet ski, buoy ... The house consists of 2 levels. An independent level with two bedrooms, a bathroom, a living room and a kitchen and the other of 4 bedrooms, one with bunk beds, bathrooms / shower, living room, kitchen. Wild and typical environment. Some shops nearby. Minimum booking of a week from Saturday to Saturday for the period June / September.

We’ve had such a lovely stay at this lovely villa. It’s a very quiet area, with lovely views of the river. We were 3 families staying for the week, we thoroughly enjoyed the (heated!) pool everyday, we had a couple of days wakesurfing on the river Douro and a couple of trips to the beach and river beach. we also thoroughly enjoyed a cooked meal at the villa by Alda, she is a very talented chef. Check in and out process was seamless with a very smiley welcoming Alda meeting us at the property. Thanks again, we hope to be back one day.

Just returned home from a fantastic week in Portugal. This property has the most stunning views of the river, it really was the wow factor when we woke up on the first morning! Great for a large group and well equipt, perfect location just 5 mins off the morotway with quick access to Porto and local beaches and Amarante water park 30 mins away. Would definitely recommend 🙂

The property is in a very relaxing and quiet location overlooking the river. It is remote so you need to drive to everything. The house was very clean when we arrived and is set up with all you need. There are even toys etc for kids. The pool and garden are well maintained and tidy, a gardener and pool cleaner came throughout our stay. The house is well equipped. The kitchen is a bit tired and a bit packed with too many duplicate items, or broken things that could be cleared out to make more cupboard space. It did have all that we needed for cooking and plenty of crockery and cutlery. The BBQ was left very dirty and we spent some time cleaning it to be able to use it, then didn’t in the end so the next people at least gain a clean BBQ. There is no parking in front of the house, although you can pull up to unload. You park by the harbour which is just around the corner. Our main concern in the house was the lack of air conditioning. On reading that air conditioning was included, we would expect it to be throughout but it was only in three of the six bedrooms and no living areas, so stating this would make the property description more accurate. Luckily for us, it was not too hot and there is often a good breeze from the river. The independent area, really was a separate apartment underneath the main villa, with no connecting doors or stairs without going through the outside gate. It would be very suited to two families wanting to holiday together but maintaining some of their own space, and sharing the garden/pool areas. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and apart from the lack or air conditioning, were very happy with the house and would recommend it to others.

The place is quiet (despite the noise of the motorway nearby) and peaceful. A delightful swimmingpool and playing objects for children. We have been searching the adress for one hour, the adress is hard to find !
