About this house rental
Located in San Remo, this lovely house for $861 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. No Functions, Celebrations or Schoolies Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events likely to create excessive noise or disturbances for neighbors. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies. The Space ”Ocean Breeze” is a stunning, light-filled home situated on approximately one acre of land in a secure, gated community just 2.3 km from central San Remo. Beautifully furnished and appointed throughout, it is the ‘home away from home” of your dreams! Please note some photos of the home pre-date further building work in the area and certain views now are partially obstructed by other homes. Parking The home has parking for up to 8 cars on the property (in the garage, driveway and a further allocated gravel area. Please note parking on the street is not permitted and any additional cars or visitors above that limit need to park at the area before the gates. Indoor Areas Spread over three sweeping levels, the six bedrooms, five bathrooms and two living areas can amply cater for 16 guests. The first floor contains the large master bedroom including walk-in-robe and en-suite with double vanity unit and an indulgent spa-bath. There is an expansive open-plan area including lounge with luxurious lounge suite, dining with 12-seater table and open plan Kitchen (with breakfast bar, double size fridge) and butler’s kitchen (with a 2nd half-dishwasher and double fridge). This area is made all the bigger by the retractable glass doors opening to the large, covered first-floor balcony, bringing the outside in. The ground floor has another two bedrooms (one with ensuite) and an additional full bathroom accessible from the covered deck, as well as a spacious laundry with washing machine and clothes dryer. Another beautifully appointed large living room (with fuzbol table & table tennis table, TV, DVD player and another double fridge) further opens to the enormous, sheltered deck. The mezzanine level contains the remaining three bedrooms, two with en-suites. Six TVs throughout the home should keep everyone entertained on rainy days. Outdoor Areas The upstairs covered balcony is set with outdoor furniture. The generous sheltered deck downstairs is equipped with a gas BBQ, a patio heater and an outdoor setting. It is adjacent to the fully fenced, landscaped solar-heated saltwater chlorinated pool (4.1m x 10.5m; and 1.2 - 1.97m deep) with an outdoor hot and cold water shower close by, and the wonderful children’s play area at the side. The single garage offers secure parking for one vehicle along with 3 car spaces on the driveway, and an additional graveled area adjacent to the house for another 4 cars. Please note there is a security camera in the driveway. It does not view any private areas in the home. Kitchen The fully appointed gourmet kitchen with breakfast bar and butler’s pantry is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Aldi pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, sandwich makers, etc. plus a sink, 3 x double fridges (1 in the kitchen, 1 in the butler's pantry and a 3rd in the downstairs Living Room), two dishwashers (one full sized in the kitchen and another smaller one in the butler’s pantry), an electric oven and induction cook top. Heating/Cooling Systems The home features zoned, ducted heating and cooling throughout. Bedding Configuration This home has 11 beds, accommodating up to 16 guests: Bedroom 1 (upstairs): One King bed Bedroom 2 (mezzanine): One Queen bed Bedroom 3 (mezzanine): One Queen bed Bedroom 4 (downstairs): One Queen bed Bedroom 5 (downstairs): Two sets of Single bunks, a Single bed and a Trundle bed Bedroom 6 (mezzanine): One Double bed Linen It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged. Peak Periods Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 4pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up. Right to Evict As mentioned above, the gated private community Ocean Breeze is a part of is governed by the owners corporation guidelines which in part, address neighbor entitlements, common property, minimising excessive noise and disrespectful, loud, late night parties. Reports of these could lead to immediate eviction without recourse.

We booked this property to stay for the 3 night while we got married.
The first major issue is parking.. the property allocates it fit 16 people.. I’m not sure exactly where these cars are meant to fit..
it is VERY obvious that the neighbours do not appreciate having a holiday rental on the street.
The morning of my wedding while I was trying to have my hair done, I had calls and messages from the property manager in regards to my makeup artist and hair dressers cars parks on the nature strip… I then had another call about tow trucks on the way.. if these cars were on peoples property or in the way of the flow of traffic then yes I’d completely understand, this was coming purely from disgruntled neighbours. As you could imagine I wasn’t thrilled about having to deal with this on the morning of my wedding..
I don’t know why there is a pool table and pingpong table in the double car garage and not down stairs in the rumpus area, you are taking up 2 perfectly good car spaces…
Secondly - the cleanliness.
The house was tidy which is fine but the whole property really need a deep clean. I raised this with the property manager and the response was that they were surprised as the owners clean the property. Which is fine but attention to detail wasn’t there, the place needs a good scrub.
The photos need updating. The photos show spacious property, not in the middle of an estate. The photos are dated and was a bit disappointing as it wasn’t what we were expecting

Property was a good size for a large family gathering, but ageing and attention to detail and cleanliness was lacking. Cobwebs in the high ceilings, dirt and dust on light fittings and across baseboards with no instruction for induction cooktop, fridge was rusty and couches were way past their prime. Large and great location.

We stayed at the accommodation with 5 small families & young children and had a blast. The accommodation was amazing. Spacious enough with lots of different zones for everyone. The pool was cold (due to weather) but still used. Kids loved the big back yard for running around. House itself was nice and tidy. Kitchen had all the facilities to entertain our large group. Would book again!

But disappointed on the kitchen side wherein we have to washed the plates manually as it doesn’t fit on dishwasher. But if management replace it with right size to fit in the dishwasher then the next occupant will be happy. Overall, we like the place and would to come back again.

The property itself is great, HOWEVER, the management of the property is terrible.
We had a major electrical problem on our arrival. The lower ground floor was unusable between 6PM and 6AM as the light circuit breaker kept tripping. This was reported twice to "I'll get back to you" Caleb but nothing was done. With a potential electrical danger he decided to do nothing. The children had to move upstairs for safety. The lower bedrooms were unusable.
The main dishwasher was placarded as "out of action" but we had a half dishwasher for 14 people in the pantry, requiring necessitating more hand washing. This was also reported to "I'll get back to you" Caleb. If a major electrical problem and facilities cannot be repaired on a weekend then the property should not be let on weekends. Returning home I again rang "I'll get back to you" Caleb asking for some recompense for the inconvenience experienced during our stay. But true to form I have not heard from "I'll get back to you" Caleb. Try another managed property and avoid "I'll get back to you" Caleb. He never has to this day!

A great setting with views of the ocean, even a mob of Kangaroos (5 adults and joeys) that came into the back garden at night to eat the grass. As mentioned in previous reviews, there were a couple of areas that could do with a bit of maintenance and the furniture and decor are not exactly as pictured in the photos and are definitely showing some wear and tear but all are clean and comfortable as was all the interior of the house. This property is great value and a great spot for a group. Thanks so much for having us!

This house was absolutely perfect for our 3 night stay. Plenty of room for 15 adults and 2 kids. Everything is so well appointed and comfortable for lots of quality family time. A quiet area where you don’t feel on top of others but a close drive to shops, pubs, cafes etc. We will definitely be coming here again and I would highly recommend this amazing accommodation!

Great house for our group and thoroughly enjoyed the few days. However the house is purported to be a luxurious getaway, but I found alot of the furniture especially in the lounge areas could do with being changed over, they have seen better days! But other than had a fantastic time. Cheers for having us!

Great house, great views and plenty of space
It’s a shame the furnishing lets it down, It is advertised as luxurious, but the furniture is very tired and beds and bedding are of poor quality this would be an amazing home to rent otherwise. There is also a very strong scent of cheap cleaning products and air freshener.

Would highly recommend to any family wanting a house that ticks all the boxes! Great size bedrooms, 4 with ensuite. So many different entertaining areas, amazing views and something to keep the kids entertained also! You won't be disappointed!!!

High Quality House in a Private Location
Had a great time at this place. The architectural design of this property was really impressive; many unique aspects cleverly combined to create a perfect environment. Lots of different light switch installations in this place to customize the visual aesthetics to suit the mood. Multi-level, zoned living areas also allow people to find their own spaces, furthered enriched by several ensuite bathrooms and a powerful heating system throughout the place to ensure no one was ever cold. The outdoor entertaining areas offered great times, and created more space for people to enjoy the property. It was a great weekend that won’t be forgotten anytime soon.

What a wonderful luxury home !!
A very warm and comfortable home for our family weekend away for our Mum’s 80th birthday in June. Could not have asked for better accommodation, more than enough room for the12 of us to spread out and enjoy our get together in comfort. Quiet, private location with a very nice view indeed, thank you for sharing your special home with us.
