There is a large log fire to create a warm and intimate atmosphere on cooler evenings. "The Nest" is the perfect base to explore the beauties of the Margaret River region, but most of all a place to relax unwind and spoil yourself. This stunning home with magnificent views into the surrounding bushland gives you a taste of idyllic country living. Just a 10 minute drive from the very popular tourist centre of Dunsborough as well as Yallingup allowing easy access to the attractions of these areas yet peace and relaxation away from the hustle and bustle. The attractions are many and varied, with wineries, breweries, restaurants, galleries, arts and crafts, and of course, the spectacular rugged landscape, world renowned surf beaches, and fascinating limestone caves. There are plenty of activities for children, including horse riding at the local Mirravale Riding School, beach fishing or boat charters, and seasonal whale watching. The most popular beaches are well known to surfers, however, family swimming can be enjoyed in the sheltered water of the Yallingup Lagoon. Just above the beach front there is a surf shop, kiosk, small gallery and a children's playground. We also recommend the short drive to stunning Injidup Beach, just south of Yallingup at the end of Wyadup Rd. This beach is also very popular with local surfers, however is usually less crowded. There are no amenities here, so you will need to take refreshments. For walkers, the track from the parking area at Yallingup along the limestone coast down on to Smiths Beach will please, especially as it drops on to the sand at the secluded end. A 10 minute walk from here will take you past the local surfing school in summer, to the safe swimming beach at the Smith's Beach car park. Firewood is provided for the fireplace during the winter months. If you require firewood at other times of the year, it can be purchased at local service stations and hardware stores. Linen is optional at this property & can be ordered by contacting our bookings team at any time by phone, email, in-App messaging, or on our website during the checkout phase of booking. The Nest is a very large home that fitted our group perfectly. The pictures don't do it justice in terms of spaciousness. Beautiful secluded area, yet close to shops, wineries etc. The house had everything you'd need for a very comfortable stay.

We loved The Nest in a beautiful natural setting! Service was great in all aspects and really appreciated the provision of wood for the fire along with oil heaters in the bedrooms for the cold nights. We would have given a 5-star rating however a couple of safety issues needed attending: the power boards with exposed wires in the downstairs bedrooms and the stair rail needs tightening as it is a bit wobbly, (our group was aged 68+ thus using the rail frequently). We thank you for sharing your wonderful home and we would love to stay again. Gayle

What a lovely setting. From the moment we drove up to the house we all just smiled. Walking up the stairs was amazing the kitchen is massive, I think the bench would be about 5m long. The fireplace kept the top half beautifully warm. The house is huge every room is so big. Our son loved chopping the wood and we all loved the kangaroos. The house isn’t perfect but it was perfect for us. Oh and I loved the laundry shoot and was thrilled to bring all our washing home clean. We will definitely be back.
