Winter Park Ski Haus is a beautifully-decorated home that has the artistic and elegant touches you're looking for on your next Winter Park vacation. Originally built in 1968, this mountain home has been expertly renovated and lovingly innovated with handpicked furnishings, distinctive details, and all the luxuries to ensure a perfect alpine sojourn. Enjoy a sleek farmhouse style kitchen and spacious twelve person dining area that invites family and friends to come together for good times and pleasurable meals. Large group gatherings are made comfortable and carefree as you are able to spread out in five plush, oversized bedroom suites, each with its own ensuite bathroom. Right outside, you'll find the large private hot tub on the deck, complete with mountain views. You'll also love the walkability of this home! Located within 150 yards of the slopes & trails at the Winter Park Resort, it's an easy jaunt to get home for a quick lunch or after a long day of skiing. You can also walk over to the shops & dining at the base area without ever having to get in your car. Part of the Winter Park charm are the railroad tracks that run the length of the town and the valley. The Winter Park Ski Haus is less than 30 meters from the tracks and while many enjoy the sound of trains, some may not. Whatever beckons, the trails, the trains, relaxation, or stimulation—you will find it here in this one-of-a-kind dwelling. Sleeping Arrangements: Primary King Suite, Queen Suite with Twin daybed, Bunk Suite with two Twin/Twin bunk beds, two Queen beds in the Second Queen Suite, and two Queen beds in the Third Queen Suite. We really enjoyed the comfort & convenience of this marvelous mountain getaway, conveniently located in Winter Park Village. Our family included three generations with eight adults & four kids. We made good use of the ski lockers and the convenient clothing hooks at the entry porch. We enjoyed the view of the mountain peaks, too.
-- Kitchen was convenient & well equipped -- with plenty of dishes, the right kinds of small appliances and cookware.
-- Our our 5- to 9-year old grandkids had no problem walking with us to WP Base. The sleds held the skis!
-- Those kids also enjoyed seeing the trains go by, and we never had any issue with noise.

This cabin was absolutely amazing. We came with 13 people and pets. It was perfect. It was in a beautiful location in the mountains. The cabin itself was beautiful and spacious. We loved being able to eat together at a huge table. We loved the games and puzzles as well as the hot tub. The management was great to help out with and early check in. There was space for everyone to relax and enjoy each other. There were so many fun activities to do in the nearby towns. We would love to come again!!!

This was one of the cleanest houses we’ve ever rented. It was comfortable and very very clean!
The house provides enough space for a big family. We had our elderly grandma and aunt. They were comfortable and able to move around with ease. We ate breakfast on the deck many mornings. It was beautiful. The kitchen is very well stocked. You can find everything you need to cook.
We would definitely come back!

We had a great stay at Ski Haus, 7 adults and 5 kids (10 skiers). The property was clean, well furnished, pretty good location for skiing. If you’re looking for ski in/out then this is doable, but be warned that it’s a decent hike over to the lifts/gondola. Skiing in is excellent if you’re a decent skier as the hill off the main trail is a little steep for some people.
The house itself was spacious for all of us and comfortable. The layout is interesting, but not necessarily bad, just different. Private hot tub is always a plus :)
I had to text in a couple of questions during our stay and the host company was very responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend this property.

Perfection
Had a wonderful experience. Our trip was a get away with three generations of family members and our lab. The property management company and in particular, Margaret, provided constant clear communication for everything we needed to know. Check in was easy, the house was spotless, all the essentials available with clear detail on use. Located in an awesome spot, close to Winter Park, the ski mountain and nature.
I especially appreciated the owner's taste in decor. Very cool!
Would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for the ability to house a large family and/or pet friendly accommodations wanting to enjoy the Winter Park experience.

We had an amazing trip skiing Winter Park. The Winter Park Ski Haus was incredible! This house is just gorgeous, with 5 bedrooms on two different floors it made it the perfect place for us to stay. We have two families of 4, a few nieces and nephews and a pup stay with us, and we all had plenty of room. Everyone had their own space to sleep, and we all gathered in the main living areas.
The Kitchen and dining room area are great, and we spent a bunch of time there. We planned meals and used the kitchen every day, it is stocked well and is very functional. Whenever we were back at the house, we were plays games at the huge dining room table, it was great to see the kids put away their electronics and reconnect with cousins and friends. We had the fireplace heating the space and had snow gently falling most nights giving us an amazing atmosphere.
The hot tub was a great bonus for us, relaxing in the hot tub after skiing with snow gently falling was a great treat for us. The views from the deck and hot tub are just beautiful.
Several of us had to work for a few hours each day and internet worked well, and the house was large enough to separate and have privacy for calls and meetings.
The Winter Park Management company was especially wonderful. They checked in daily with us and made sure that we had everything that we needed. Being able to text them to ask question about the house was great, they even helped with dining suggestions on hill and where to order pizza from. Bravo!
The combination of the wonderful house and the incredible customer service will bring us back next year. Thank you for taking care of us and making our experience wonderful! See you next year.

Good and bad
Sadly the previous renters must have had poorly behaved dogs or cats that peed in the entry area and living room of the house. After requesting the smell be treated, the odor of the combination of pee and cleaner was still unbearable. The hosting company tried to be nice and leave a few gifts to help but there really should have been some sort of refund for the situation. The location is pretty good. It is a bit of a hike to get to the lift and if you are daring enough to ski down a very steep hill with unknown obstacles you can ski back to the house. Hot tub was filthy when we arrived so we couldn’t use it the first day but after that it was great. Beds were super comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped except they definitely need a new toaster. Ski lockers and gear area are nice. So sad about the stink because it really made the stay hard to really like.

Wonderful vacation in Winter Park
Our summer stay at Ski Haus in Winter Park was fantastic ! The house is spacious , clean, attractive, and well appointed!
Winter Park resort village is close by and a great place to spend some time .. and of course all of the Colorado high country is close by !
I highly recommend this house and the Winter Park Lodging Company , who were very responsive to our requests.

Great Place and Views
We stayed there at Ski Haus with 3 more families and thoroughly enjoyed the place. Everything in winter park was so accessible from this place and it was quiet and pleasant. This was our first trip here in summer and hoping we can return back sometime in winter again. Staff kept the house very clean and throughly the house we could see a lot of furnishings that were DIY by owner and they were a great addition.

The house was wonderful and exactly what we were looking for with a big group. It had everything we needed for a ski group, with a mud room and plenty of hooks to hang up gear. They even had a whole cabinet of board games, playing cards, and dice!

Just as advertised and more - plenty of good, usable kitchen dishes, silverware, pots and pans, etc. Great sized rooms and kitchen, dining and living room. The whole family gave it a 5 star rating. We will come back to this house if it is available.

Amazing owners and house!!
We had a group of 15 friends stay at the Ski Haus this passed weekend. The house is great and had enough room for everyone. The pictures do not do this place justice! Working with the owners was so easy and they were so flexible, giving us an earlier check-in time and even a later check-out time. There is a little walk to the ski slopes but coming back to the house, the trail leads you right to the house. Overall we had a blast and we owe it all to this house!!

The property was great, beautiful! We had 10 adults and 7 children for a family reunion and there was plenty of room for each family, a long dining table, the plenty of room in the living area for kids to play and adults to do karaoke! We walked to the ski resort, had fun on the alpine slide, and enjoyed the hot tub! Thanks!

Great multi family vacation!
The location can’t be beat. True ski in for adults and an easy walk with kids. Bedroom layouts were perfect for four families. The kitchen was well stocked with a fridge meant to hold enough for large groups. Entertaining the kids was easy with well stocked supply of games and TV with Netflix guest profile. We would recommend this home and hope to return next year!
