About this villa rental
Situated in Santiago de la Ribera, this attractive villa for $214 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Please come and spend your holidays in complete safety and all peace in this amazing villa in the warmest and safest region of Spain. No car needed. Near to beaches, luxurious and modern new villa for 2 at 8 adults of 1615 sq ft (150 m²), south facing, one level, entirely independent, enclosed and wonderful garden of 6500 sq ft (600 m²), very large private heated pool (10 m x 4 m). The heating of the pool will be programmed at 28° in off-season (with an additional cost between €150 and €220/week depending the season). A large ping pong table will also be at your disposal in the garden. The property is located in the peaceful upmarket Spanish Town of Santiago De La Ribera, situated on the Costa Calida, between Alicante & Cartagena, just 25 minutes from the Brand New International Airport Murcia Region (RMU) and 45mn from Alicante airport (ALC). Blessed by a Mediterranean climate, there are around 315 days of sun per year. Just a 10 min stroll (500m) from the sandy beaches, as well as many restaurants, bars and food shops (Lidl, Aldi, Spar, Mercadona...) all just a short walk away. Golfs at 5 kms. This spacious open plan villa, boasts a fully equipped kitchen, including dishwasher, induction hob, oven, microwave, large fridge freezer and coffee machine (Nespresso), large dining area and living room with a 55 inch Smart TV with English channels and DVD player. Free Superfast Fibre Optic Wi-Fi and air conditioning throughout the Villa. - 4 large double bedrooms: 2 with king size (180x200), 1 with queen size (160x200), 1 with 2 single beds (90x190). (Travel cot, baby bath, playpen and high chair available on request) - In the living room, a sofa bed (140x190). - 2 bathrooms with each a very large walk-in shower including one with a washing machine and a dryer. You can take your meals outdoors or you will also find a outdoor kitchen with a very large gas plancha. To enjoy the sun and for your comfort, 8 sun loungers with parasols and pergolas are at your disposal around the very large private heated pool with an solar shower. For convenience there is a small bathroom with toilet and washbasin near the pool. A hire car is not necessary but if you do have cars, they can be parked (2) inside the property, on the side of the villa. The property also has an alarm system and 2 safes to deposit your valuables and in order to allow you to lighten your luggage as much as possible, all the linen is provided, sheets, towels as well as Beach towels. We have done our utmost to ensure you have a great sunny holiday and feel at home and in total security. The keys will be handed to you on site by the owners who live 2 km from the villa and who will be at your disposal during your stay in case of need.

Great villa with everything you could need and Marie and Franck were very helpful and friendly. The taxis organised by the hosts were all on time and reasonably priced. Would love to come again. The pool was heated to a good temperature.

Also gave us tips on restaurants, shops and taxis, Aldi and Lidl were about a 10 min walk but used taxis to pick us up with the shopping on our return. Marie also arranged our airport transfers which was great. The beach is about 10/15 walk where you can find bars restaurants and concerts some nights and a few fun activities for the children which went down well! Would definitely recommend this villa it was so lovely just to relax, eat alfresco and go in the pool whenever we wanted, and of course the weather!

We have had an amazing week stay at Marie and Franks villa. As a family we ranged from the ages of 71 to a 7 month baby. Marie and Frank have thought of everything for the villa, the home comforts, cleanliness and hosting were fantastic. We all strongly recommend a stay here

Just got home from a fabulous 10 nights at this great Villa. Marie and Franke are lovely hosts and very welcoming even arranging a birthday cake for my husband’s birthday. The pool is a good size with steps to enter. There is an Aldi and Lidl 10 minutes walk and the beach is within walking distance too. We are hoping to return. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

We had a wonderful break at the villa. The villa was spacious, clean and extremely well equipped for all our needs. Marie and Franck were excellent hosts, very attentive and helpful, with recommendations for places to eat and things to see and do. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Everything about our stay, from communication with the owners, to the villa itself and all the facilities was excellent. The owners are clearly committed to ensuring they give the very best service and experience to their guests and are extremely welcoming and helpful.
For an extended family including grandparents, parents and children it was perfect, spacious, loads of outside space in sun or shade and a wonderful pool. All the facilities are great, lots of towels, good showers, lovely barbecue, loads of seating, everything is good.
It was so lovely around the villa we spent most of our time there, our 2 granddaughters just loved the pool.

Marie couldn’t have been more accommodating. We were travelling with 3 children and she went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly.
The property is modern and well equipped and within a short distance to everything you need.
Bars, restaurants and supermarkets are all within a 10 mintute walking radius.
We had the pool heated and it was almost impossible to get the children out! The area was very private and it was exactly what we were looking for.
If we could have given 6 stars we would have.

We spent just over a week at this villa and loved every moment. The owners are incredibly helpful and informative and everything you could need is in the villa. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby and had it been a little warmer (we went October) we would have ventured to the beaches.
We will definite return for ly relaxing week at some point.
Definitely would recommend to other couples, or a family, two couples and their children. There is plenty to keep the children entertained, and if you are missing home just too much, there is even UK TV. I only found this out mid week, but I could have watched Coronation Street!! But no, I tend not to watch TV away, but we did watch some Netflix in the evenings.
Plenty of games and good Wifi. I had to do some work and had no problem at all.
You can walk into the main town area in the evening if you want, but everything is also very accessible by car.
We hired a car from Malaga and travelled up the coast.
The roads put ours to shame, there were easy to drive and we visited Murcia, Valencia, La Manga, for a bit of local culture, food and people watching.
Only advice would be to any other British guests, try to speak some Spanish. This is not like other resorts where everyone speaks fluent English. Don't get me wrong you will get by, (google translate perfect for menus) but they really appreciate you trying to communicate in their language. Even just basis Hola, Gracias etc. I really enjoyed experiencing where other Europeans go on holiday (Spanish, French. Dutch, German etc) rather than just the more popular British crowded places like Benidorm etc - though we did stop in there on our way back from Valencia, to watch the sunset!! This part of Spain has amazing sunsets!! See for yourself!!

We had a wonderful week in the house. Everyrthing were so clean and well equiped. In the kitchen we didnt miss a thing, very modern and wellequiped. It would have been nice to barbecue outside, but we had a stove in the outdoorkitchen wich worked well. So nice with all the sittingareas, and the pool was amazing, we would not survived in the almoust 40 degrees heat if we didnt have the poolarea. A lot of umbrellas and shades by the pool were a lifesaver, and skinsaver as well 😅. The airconditioning was very good, and in all bedrooms, so we had a good nightsleep, though the beds and pillows were a bit hard. The landlords were great, they really cared of our wellbeing and even filled up the fridge with water and other drinks at our arrival. We felt that we could ask them anything if we wondered about something. We can really recommend the house ❤

Amazing doesn’t even come close!!
Recently had the privilege of staying at this villa. The villa was amazing as was the hosts. Was spotlessly clean both inside and outside. Bedrooms a good size, bathrooms very nice, outside space also amazing. One of our party are blind and they had no trouble getting around the villa or the outside space. Also both showers are turned on the same which really helped us. Hours full of fun around the pool, chilling in the shade or playing table tennis. We actually had our flight cancelled in the early hours and the hosts were beyond helpful. Ensured we had some where to stay for the night as our stay with them had ended and another family were coming to the villa. So accommodating to the point that Franck actually took all our suitcases and my disabled brother to our hotel to save us dragging them all ourselves. Marie even checked in the following day and the day after to ensure we got home safely. We all agreed we will 100% be coming back! Absolutely faultless

Great holiday in Santiago de La Ribera Murcia
We loved the town of Santiago de la Ribera. The people were exceptionally friendly, the food absolutely excellent and the beach beautiful and inviting. We genuinely felt we were getting a slice of Spanish culture. We loved chatting to local people over brunch in local cafes.
The property itself was about a fifteen minute walk from the beach and town. The house was spacious inside and out with everything you might need. The pool area was outstanding and we enjoyed one or two barbecues in the garden as well as some typically Spanish restaurants in town.
The airport is about twenty minutes away from the property. We thoroughly recommend this property.

Amazing property
The villa was absolutely beautiful! The photos really do not do it justice. Marie met us on arrival and was in constant communication throughout our stay and arranged our transfers to and from the airport. The villa was fully equipped for our 5 month old baby. We spent most evenings cooking and eating on the terrace! We cant recommend Marie or the villa highly enough! Thank you for letting us stay 🙂

A home away from home
This property has everything you could need, even a tumble dryer and English tv. Ideal for families or a group. Plenty of seating available inside and out. Hosts couldn't be more welcoming and had a welcome basket on arrival which was a lovely touch. Would definitely like to return. Very good restaurant la plaza only a few minutes walk away and about 10 minutes to the town with lots of good tapas.

We would highly recommend La Plaza Reataurant for a meal. So reasonable and less than a 3 minute walk away from the villa. We would love to come back - the best holiday we have had!

The owners are very helpful and communicative. The villa is perfect and the owners have thought of absolutely everything - beach towels, washing machine tablets, welcome box, info about the local area etc. Very spacious and spotlessly clean.

Gorgeous villa
Beautifully appointed villa, comfortable lounge area with 3 settees, lovely kitchen with an excellent selection of tableware and cookware. 3 bedrooms and 2 very nice bathrooms. The pool is large enough for serious swimming and there are plenty of sunbeds and parasols. Our hosts were welcoming and attentive to our questions and thoroughly delightful. The beach with its bars and restaurants is an 11 minute stroll away. There are a couple of little supermarkets within easy walking distance whilst larger supermarkets including Aldi, Lidl and Mercadona are 5 minutes in the car. Venture a little further to the Dos Mares shopping area with its boutique shops, food court and Carrefour hypermarket. The only downside is the internet speed which is somewhat disappointing.

Fabulous Villa
It was a pleasure to stay in this villa. The villa is equipped with everything you need for a great holiday. The villa is large, spacious and private. The pool was amazing with pool inflatables for all ages. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this villa. The owners were great, messaged to check we were ok and live close by if you have any problems.
