Our son and family have moved into their new home after the 2017 Tubbs fire. Freshly updated two bedroom cottage attached to the main house. Cottage includes full kitchen and bath, granite counter tops, tile and hardwood floors. Located in a quiet, country neighborhood with surrounding vineyards. Stay inside and enjoy access to wireless internet, HD TVs, a cabinet of board games or let the kids go outside and play on the large lawns. Cottage includes full kitchen, dining, living room, bath with washer & dryer, master bedroom with king bed, guest room with king bed, queen sofa bed, keyless front door. Full access to a beautifully landscaped property with more than fifty rose bushes. Within less than 3.5 miles you will find 8 wineries as we are located in Sonoma County's Russian River Valley wine region. - 15 min to Armstrong Woods – take a leisurely walk through majestic giant redwoods - 20 min to Korbel Champagne Tasting Room - 10 min to Kendall Jackson Winery - 20 Min to Healdsburg and the Dry Creek Valley wine region and 45 minutes to Napa - 22 miles to Bodega Bay’s sandy beaches and dunes - Bicycle enthusiasts will find that the cottage is a perfect launching point for riding through the wine country as we are located just a mile off Levi Leipheimer’s King Ridge GranFondo route. - At the edge of the property a pathway meanders through more than 100 acres of neighboring vineyards, perfect for an evening stroll, sit along the vineyard reservoir and watch the sunset. (sorry closed due to Covid-19) - For an elegant meal you can make a reservation and head a minute down the road to the highly rated Walter Hansel Wine & Bistro, the Barlow in Sebastopol is great for restaurants, wine tasting and outdoor shops or for a casual meal head a few minutes into town for a Taqueria or maybe stop at Simply Vietnam. After a long week of work in LA the week before, this was a great place to relax and recuperate. Close to many wineries in the area for quick tasting trips. It was also quiet at night, allowing me to catch up on some much needed rest. I had to work some remotely and the internet worked great

I cannot say enough good things about Sunny View Cottage! It was spotless, perfect size, quiet location and the bed was spectacular! We were able to easily access wineries in all directions along with grocery, bank, etc. Loved seeing the horses and dogs on our street as well! We already booked our next trip for 2024 and are counting down the days to return! Thank you so much Lynn and Roger for having us!

I cannot say enough good things about this delightful two bedroom cottage. A perfect, quite location, with easy access to downtown Santa Rosa and all of the Sonoma wine regions. The best equipped kitchen I have ever encountered. The beds and the living areas are very comfortable. Quit looking, this is the place!

My daughter and I had a lovely stay at this property. It is in a great location with a ton of nearby wineries and cute towns to shop and go out to eat! The home is really comfortable and in a quiet, nice neighborhood!

We were a group of 5: 2 Adults and 3 Children (ages 8,6,2). We had plenty of room. The apartment is nicely furnished. Beds are very comfortable. Quiet street. Centrally located to everywhere we wanted to go. We enjoyed our stay!

Loved the house and although I was worried because it’s attached to the main house we had full privacy during our stay! Excellent location near to beaches, wineries, kids activities and groceries too!! The house was fully stocked and it looked just as the photos displayed it!

I stayed in this cute cottage with my 17 year old. We live in the country, so loved being in the country, but yet close to everything! The cottage was clean, well appointed, with easy check-in. There is a rose garden out the living room window that i enjoyed. All in all a great place to stay!

Sunny View Cottage was a great place for a small family to stay during our trip to California. The location is nearby to destinations ranging from wine country to San Francisco to redwood ziplines. It is very quiet and private, and has a great aesthetic.

The Sunny View Cottage was everything we needed for our holiday weekend in Santa Rosa. The property was clean, spacious, easy to find, and quiet! It was also close to many fun locations. We would love to stay here again in the future.

The cottage is clean, well maintained and cozy. The neighbors are friendly. The place was nicely stocked necessities(coffee, dishes and utensils etc..) We were here for our daughters college graduation at SSU. The price for the stay was reasonable considering what nightly rates can be. If I had one criticism is how far out the property is located, but we used the city streets to get around. We know how traffic can be in the Bay Area.

We stayed here for five nights with our two kids (9 and 7), and it was perfect. Very comfortable and clean, and we enjoyed the board game selection too! It's on a lovely quiet street abutting a vineyard, with horses across the street. In the mornings I jogged down to the Santa Rosa Creek Trail, which was a nice place to run.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Sunny View Cottage and we’ll be back to stay every time we are in stunning Sonoma County. The cottage is perfectly appointed with a large chef’s kitchen, all the dishes and kitchenware you’d need and lovely, comfortable bedrooms to make you feel at home. We really enjoyed gazing at the stars at night from the cottage and the beautiful sunsets too. And the cottage is central to just about everything - Healdsburg, Windsor, Sonoma County Airport, Sebastopol, Petaluma and more!

It's a comfortable, well-equipped space on a peaceful lane in the 'country', but within a mile or two of groceries, coffee, etc. It's a nice touch that small amenities are on site like laundry detergent and coffee filters. Would definitely stay here again!

Sunny View Cottage was excellent. The cottage is spacious; very clean; well-equipped and very comfortable. Lynn was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The property is lovely and although on the outskirts of Santa Rosa it was very quick to downtown and a perfect location for us to join cycling routes and explore the surrounding small towns. We highly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return.

We visited the Russian River Valley for three days. The Sunny View Cottage was a perfect base for our visit. We really enjoy several wineries on Olivet Road and the cottage is very close to Olivet Road. The cottage had everything we needed. The kitchen was fantastic and everything we needed. It was quiet and comfortable. We recommend the Sunny View Cottage. We hope to return.

Easy accessibility to Sonoma, the coast, Russian River Valley. Quiet area, nice sized house. WELL stocked with plenty of nice towels, washing machine, small appliances and SHARP KNIVES!!!!(which I never find). Highly recommend!
