Nestled in Tuckahoe, this charming house for $189 per night is a great option for your next break. **********Contact us regarding long term rental needs******** Location, location, location. Come enjoy your home away from home in historic Richmond, Virginia. Close to downtown, UR ,VCU and many wedding venues.This lovely, renovated colonial two story home is comfortable & conveniently located. It has four spacious bedrooms( all have closets) with hardwood floors. Two bedrooms have queen sized beds, two other room have full size bed .There are TV's in 3 of the 4 bedrooms all new 2020/2021 .Plenty of space in rooms that have actual beds & designed as bedrooms. ( there is a nice sleeper sofa on 1st floor if needed )There are two & 1/2 bathrooms. The dining room seats 6 comfortably and there is seating for 2 at the eat in kitchen. Upstairs there is a separate study with a desk. Having grocery stores, pharmacies and restaurants within a few miles saves time and effort. The convenience of private & off-street parking eliminates the hassle of trying to find parking "nearby " security system, nice appliances, & new 2022 washer/dryer .2023 microwave will add to your peace of mind . There is not much available in this area near University of Richmond but fortunately this place was perfect for a group of family members who needed overflow beds for a gathering at a home nearby. I highly recommend this house for folks visiting the University or looking to say near, but not too near, the down town area. Great food and shopping nearby and the house is well stocked with everything we needed.

We were in town visiting family for Thanksgiving. We had an amazing time!! The house was absolutely perfect and it is in a wonderful neighborhood and great location to many things! We loved walking our dog around the neighborhood. The house has everything you need!! Highly recommend this house!!

The location and accommodations were ideal. We were two couples and one single, each coming from other states. We had more than enough space. Our local sibs joined us for meals prepared on site, and the kitchen proved up to the task. We had everything we needed to allow us to be comfortable and focus on catching up with each other.
The homeowner's instructions were clear, making every step smooth, from securing the rental to lock-up and departure. Absolutely no hesitation here to recommend this VRBO. We will definitely keep this place in mind for future gatherings.

We needed a home away from home in Richmond to attend a family gathering. It was perfect with 4 bedrooms, an office space, huge open kitchen, plus den, living room and dining room. Plenty of space for 6 adults! The owner has all of the necessary supplies there to use - for the dishwasher, washing machine. And we could bring the dog!

Throughout the reservation process to checking out, host Josh was very responsive and offered extra steps to insure our comfort. 4 comfortable bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and more additional non-bedrooms rooms than we actually needed. The kitchen has everything you need. We took an afternoon walk in the neighborhood and loved seeing all the various housing styles. Lovely overall!

This property was wonderful for our needs. My family was in town for a wedding and this was a perfect home base for us. Location was great, size of the property was perfect as well. We had 4 adults and a baby under 2 with us and we never felt cramped. Josh was a great communicator. Would recommend staying here if you need a bit more space and still want to be in a central location.

The house was wonderful, clean and convenient. However, as a caution to older folks, the stairs can be very difficult if you are not used to them. They were difficult for all of us over 70. Our issue - not the fault of anyone else. We will stay on one floor for future travel. House was great overall. Thank you, Josh

Arrived from S Florida for UR parents weekend. The home was nicely decorated, warm homey feeling, cozy, and clean. Better than advertised!!
Only about 1 mile from UR in a very nice/safe neighborhood.
I would definitely stay here again. In fact, I hope to stay here again. Josh was a fantastic host.

Overall, this is a great place to stay. It is in a quiet residential neighborhood with off street parking. Josh (our host) was responsive to any questions. It is in a convenient location to grocery and restaurants, however I would not recommend walking due to lack of sidewalks and crazy drivers. The VRBO listing shows there is a hot tub, and there is not. This was only a minor disappointment, however it is worth noting. A good place for a large family gathering!

We really did not want to leave! Oh, and the neighborhood was especially nice and just down the street from a school that had room for my son and husband to throw the baseball. There are nothing but positive things to report about this rental. For sure, we will be contacting Josh to book again when we return to Richmond.

Very nice colonial house close to University of Richmond. Only downside is that all the furniture in the house looks like it was taken from the owner's grandmother's attic. Also one (of the 4) bedrooms was very dusty - perhaps had not been used in a while - and caused a major allergy problem. Fortunately we were able to use another bedroom.

Came from Wisconsin with family for our daughters graduation. House was great amd perfect for us. The location is just a short 10 min drive to downtown and campus is a quiet neighborhood. The outdoor space is nice and we spent evenings sitting on the patio.

I booked Josh's home two years before our daughter's graduation from University of Richmond and boy, am I so grateful I did. Our five days of celebration was that much more special because we had this perfect home to celebrate our daughter with all our family. Josh is very communicative and the house is quaint with antiques. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed especially for the special backyard dinner we had with 12 of us! Thank you Josh.

We absolutely loved our stay at this location, which, btw, is very convenient to everything we wanted to go to! Close to Maymont, VMFA, and loads of fine dining. Loved the décor too. The chairs were comfy and, more importantly, the beds were too. We had a blast! Can't thank Josh enough for letting us stay at here!

My friends and I truly enjoyed this property. The house was clean, cozy and inviting. The owners made sure all amenities were available from towels, extra linens, cleaning supplies to spices for cooking preparation. The owners checked on us to make sure we were having a good stay and that we had everything we needed. The neighborhood is quiet, close to shopping and downtown. We had a wonderful time. I recommend this property and hope to stay there again when I come back to Richmond. Thank you Josh.

Although we were visiting Richmond for a solemn occasion, the house in Three Chopt was a wonderful place for our family of 6 adults to gather and enjoy all it had to offer. We enjoyed the large yard with games we brought, we enjoyed the inside space with the well-stocked kitchen, large bedrooms and homey feel. The neighborhood was quiet, the people were friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our clean and comfortable surroundings. The owner was quick to respond to questions and we would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you for sharing your home.

While staying at the yellow house, we entertained our best friends - then family with a 2 yr old and 6 yr. old, and a great grandpa (99 yrs old)! This is a really great house in a lovely location, accessible to everything. I had a couple of lovely runs through University of Richmond. House is well equipped and was cosy and warm when we got there. The owner/manager was very responsive which is a big plus too. We loved all the Christmas decorations.

This vrbo is in an incredible location and so convenient to those wanting to connect with friends near CCV, St. Chris and UofR. There is a good deal of space in this home with four generous bedrooms. The yard space is to die for, if you have a pup with you. At first, the decorations and so of them plugged take me aback, but when my grown children arrived and saw the holiday decor, they liked it very much. I would suggest that during decoration seasons a few outlets in bedrooms could use some powerstrips to handle guests’ personal devices. I know I travel with 4. Josh was an exceptional host and wanted to make sure all was perfect. He offered is early check in and late check out without our asking, which I think is the sign of aomeone who is trying to maximize the vacation of the guests he hosts. Well done. The kitchen and laundry and cleaning closet were exceptionally well sticked. So appreciated. Our fogs are non shedders, but the fact that Josh had my all time favorite shark vac at the ready, we easily removed the remains of some golden haired pal. The neighbors were friendly and it was so nice to walk out regular routes at U ofR and StC while visiying. Thank you, thank you!!

My wife and I had the opportunity to stay at this property for a little less than a week I’m December 2022 and can not compliment the home enough. Festively decorated for the holidays, household staples (trash bags, detergent, paper products) readily available, and in a urban yet quiet part of town. We greatly enjoyed our stay, found the home to be incredibly comfortable, and cannot wait to return.

Needs serious furniture update although beds were comfortable. Needs a hair dryer, shampoo, lotion and conditioner in each bathroom. Nicer pillows.
