Located in the town of Aguadilla, Puerta Del Mar sits 300 feet above sea level. 2 bedrooms & 2 baths fully equipped & air conditioned throughout. Bask in the sun by the infinity pool, jump in the spa tub or another pool, spa & playground equipment is available for your enjoyment as well as a children's playground area. Be greeted by the natural sounds around as the ocean breeze, the birds, and our precious 'coquis' that will serenade you at night. Puerta del Mar, in Aguadila sits atop a mountain approximately 300 feet above sea level overseeing famous Crash Boat Beach, offering some of the most breathtaking sunsets. This is a gated community with control access and uniformed security. Puerta del Mar grants views of the island of Desecheo, Aguadilla Bay, Crash Boat Beach below to name a couple of the attractions. Beach Bum Paraiso elegantly decorated with contemporary and beachy decor, and many one of a kind irreplaceable pieces of art. Enjoy nature and partial ocean view from the balcony and its comfortable sitting & lounging areas. When you come in into this quiet marvel, you will be welcome in the foyer by a commissioned painting of Crash Boat Beach by artist Luis F. Rodriguez and a barracuda pointing towards the direction of your awaited ocean view. The large living area is decorated in neutral colors of gray and taupe. The family room has a 48” LED-TV, a sofabed in queen size. The dining room comfortably sits 4 people at the table while two more can join in from the breakfast stools at the kitchen/breakfast counter. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, cookware to help your culinary skills shine or simply allow you to heat up your food. Several pewter, glass, crystal serve ware are stored for your enjoyment. It provides you with a coffee maker, toaster, blender, sandwich maker, can opener, & all dishes and silverware. The spacious master bedroom with en-suite offers a king size bed, ample storage in chest of drawers, and a dresser with a 40” LED-Smart-TV. It has a walk in closet with a hamper and clothes' hangers. It is tastefully decorated in blue and/or gray tones, white linens and towels & beachy wall decor of sea shells, and semi-nudes portraits. Several blankets just in case a cool night sneaks in. The second bedroom offers a queen size bed, mirrored door closet, and a chest drawer for additional storage. Beach Bum Paraiso offers ceiling fans throughout, air conditioning in all sleeping areas, dining kitchen area as well. The fully equipped kitchen has a ceiling fan for additional comfort. Cable and Internet access. Tommy Bahama Beach chairs, and matching umbrella, cooler, stored at storage unit at balcony as well as beach towels for both adult and children are provided. Puerta del Mar is a few miles drive from Crash Boat Beach, Surfers Beach, Wilderness Beach, Borinquen Beach, Survivor Beach, while other are only 10-30 minutes drive. Airport is a ten minute drive to the Rafael Hernandez Airport (BQN) in Aguadilla. ATTRACTIONS IN AGUADILLA The Parterre is a small park that encloses a natural water spring known as 'El Ojo de Agua', which flows into a stream called 'El Rio Chico'. An underground river that originates in the northern coast of the island, traveling twenty miles and emerges in the center of the city of Aguadilla. The ruins of the Ramey Base are characterized by a beautiful sea view to the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. This was the first lighthouse in Aguadilla and although many placed its construction in 1886, the history data that the project was approved in 1887 and opened on September 15, 1889. The most popular surfing beaches in Aguadilla are Surfers Beach, Gas Chambers, Wilderness and Crashboat Beach, famous for its crystal clear waters. Many others are only 15-20 minutes drive as in Jobos Beach. If you are an avid golfer, visit “Punta Borinquen Golf Course', a 10 minute drive from Beach Bum Paraiso. I wasn't anticipating to visit PR and my reservation was last minute. Lydia was accommodating and made the process simple. Directions to the place were accurate and all given ahead of time. She provided coffee and all the tools you would need to cook yourself as if it was your own paradise home. Balcony with some view of the ocean. I had the second floor. Clean, beds and comfortable( that was a plus to me and the ac) we didnt have to turn all the ac units on because 2 would do the work. Fans everywhere, washer and dryer for your convenience. Beautiful set up of the condo(hot water more in master room)(warm in guest bathroom). No complaints. Mishap with previous clients on the fridge door was told to me and I didn't feel acused. Very nice in communicating. To be clear the ring door its a bit uncomfortable but I got used to it. Feels like your conversations are being listened to but i got over it. Lol. Parking is assigned to you (2 vehicles in the same line). Garbage needs to be taking out to the parking lot reserve areas. Easy! Thank you guys for allowing me to stay in your safe condo. Close to the beach(but not a walk way to the beach) I posted it inTiktok and i will send people your way!! Stay blessed. ♡♡

Our stay was beyond amazing, much better than we expected. This condo is fully equipped with everything you need. Pool area is out of this world. Beautiful sunsets seen from the infinity pool. Located in a very calm area, gated community. The hosts have great communication, always available when I asked questions. I would 100% stay here again. Very positive experience.

The home was very homey, comfortable, clean and well decorated. The owners were very nice and friendly and helpful with getting around the area. Please make sure to rent a car to get around as well . They provide almost everything in there home and also things to use at the pool and beach and on a rainy day there are some card games, board games, dominoes and tv ..But the best part of our trip was the infinity pool and the view it was sooo lovely ❤️.. i will recommend and come back again with my family soon.

This is a beautiful condo ! Everything was spotless, comfortable and beautifully decorated for our family. The complex is beautiful but the star is the unit itself. We were all so comfortable with space enough for everyone to relax. There were many additional supplies provided that were greatly appreciated. Every detail was well thought out ! It was absolutely perfect. If you are thinking of staying in the area this is the only place to stay !

BREATH TAKING
I had to take a couple days after coming back to compose myself. This rental is hands down the most beautiful, convenient, and friendly place I've stayed at . Host is amazingly thoughtful from the tons of linen, fully equipped kitchen, to fully stocked pool/beach equipment, and helpful knowledgeable staff of condominium. The view is out of this word from the infinity pool.

My family and I loved staying here. It was clean and had everything we needed. We loved having stuff to take to the beach. This complex has 2 awesome pools. You would not regret staying here.

Resort-like property
I stayed her with my sister, daughter, and neice. It's centrally located to get to any destination whether it be airport, beach, or shopping. The restaurants nearby never disappointed. The pool had phenomenal views and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Great place all around!!!

The apartment is beautiful with & well decorated, spacious and with some ocean view.
This VRBO apartment is an excellent place to stay, well decorated and with 2 bathrooms which we were satisfied as we were 3 adults and 2 boys. The balcony was a plus. The administrator was very pleasant and tried to help us all the time. The TV in the TV room never worked, but owner sent us a very delicious and beautiful basket to compensate for that. It would be helpful to describe that there are a set of stairs (about 8 steps) before you get to the apartment. This may help elderly or handicap people in their decision to rent or not to rent this place as it is hard to carry up or down the luggage. The master bed is very high, so I had to use a chair to help myself to get into bed. It would help if a little bench or a step latter be provided. Nevertheless, we really enjoyed the apartment the security and how well and clean this apartment is. Thank to the owners for letting us to use their great place.

Great Find
We made a reservation on short notice because of a family emergency in nearby Isabela. We had a wonderful experience and would recommend the property without hesitation. The condo is well appointed, the grounds well maintained and secure, the pool clean and refreshing, the view from the balcony stunning, and the location well suited to beaches, food shopping and other needs. The host was immediately responsive to all our inquiries. Aces all around.

the views and privacy of the condo spectacular but there was a problem with ants in the bedrooms. property manager was very responsive when we called but i think it was due to the construction that was happening on the premises. other than that a wonderful time!

Aguadilla (Borinquen) Condominium
Where do I start? Ulises Rodriguez & Lydia Cruz are extremely accomodating host.
A amazing huge modern unit with all the luxury amenities you'd expect to find in a high end condo.
The unit is well maintained and clean. The washer and dryer was a plus. The patio is great for sitting back and enjoying some relaxing moments. The two parking spaces were a bonus and easily accessible. The complex has a small yet very relating pool.
Conveniently located Aand within driving distance to the airport, crash boat beach, the pueblo and surroundings areas I give this place a "Excellent" rating.
On a side note: you have got to checkout Jet Blast Restaurant located directly across from the Aguadilla Airport. The food is great and I recommend you try the mixed meat or seafood platter.

Beautifully decorated, spacious, quiet condo with wonderful amenities! Whether you're enjoying coffee on the balcony or taking a dip in the infinity pool, there is a gorgeous ocean view to be had. While there was only 2 of us, this condo would comfortable accommodate 4-5 people. With a fully equipped kitchen and laundry you wouldn't have to leave, except there is some much to see locally and across the island! You will not be disappointed with this rental! We'd come back in a heart beat!

Puerta Del Mar Condo!
My stay at Puerta Del Mar was amazing! The condo was so beautiful and organized, it gave you such a welcoming feeling. Everyone in the staff was very nice, the pool was great and the beach was very close. I recommend this home to people who are responsible and clean because the owners put a lot of work into their place for it to be damaged. I would gladly return !

A lovely two bedroom condo in Aguadilla.
Upon entering the condo I was impressed by the thoughtful and tasteful decor. I was relieved that everything was as listed.. Very clean and well equipped. Comfortable and spacious, always a pleasure to walk back in fhe door after a day out. Good quality linens and a comfortable bed.
The balcony looks on to a lush area with the ocean in the background. It's great to sit outside in your own private place and enjoy the sounds of nature (rare opportunity if you come from the city). I had some trouble finding the complex, but on the upside you know how private the property is and you definitely feel safe in this gated community. The owners are great and very helpful and care very much that you have a good experience.

Beach Bum Paraiso experience
WOW! Yes I have been wowed by our stay at this property.
From the very moment we booked our stay, the owners have been so responsive to all our questions & needs. It felt like old friendship from the start.
What wonderful people! When we got there, Lydia on the phone escorted us in & guided me through the house as she shared with me all the fine & interesting details of the custom wall paintings, etc. We enjoyed their fine, great taste in their "nautica marine life" decor as scuba-divers & beach lovers. The place was clean, well-equipped with everything you possibly need and more...., well-maintained, a lot of caring obviously went into the setup and decoration of the place. They even ordered a nice set of Tommy Bahamas beach chairs with an umbrella for us to enjoy at Crashboat beach. We were welcomed with a present for our Thanksgiving Family Reunion party.
It really felt like home, and I know we have also made some lifetime friends. We plan to book their place when we go to PR again to visit family and our beautiful island.
Thank you Lydia & Ulises and I truly hope that you come visit us in good old San Antonio, Texas.

Nice Comfy Condo in Aguadilla
My daughter and I were very much in need of a break from our busy NYC lives. We decided to stay in Aguadilla with friends that were also staying in the same condo complex. The apartment was very neat and clean and well equipped. We wanted to be very close to the beach and Crash Boat beach was ideally a 5 minute drive from us with ample parking. It would have been nice to have a pair of beach chairs and perhaps an umbrella since the beach is so close and not something one would travel with. The pool area was very neat and clean and there was a shared BBQ grill there for use of the guests. Shopping and restaurants were plentiful in the area as were other activities and excursions. The owners Ulises and Lydia were very accommodating and professional in our interactions. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice comfortable place to stay while in Aguadilla.

View to paradise
My wife, daughter and myself stayed here for a week early March 2016. It became a home away from home. The condo unit is very comfortable and in a safe gated complex. The unit is very well appointed. We loved the infinity pool! The view from the pool is absolutely amazing. Ulises and Lydia were very helpful with travel tip. They always responded quickly to any questions I had. The place was spotless too. The condo is very stylish with nice artwork and decor.
We loved Crash Boat beach, which is just down the hill from the condo and a very short curvy ride. We also enjoyed trips to Rincon and Gozalandia falls (both are must sees). The local restaurants are very good. We recommend Zazones for dinner and Ramey bakery for breakfast. In Rincon we loved Calypso Cafe where we sipped Pina Coladas and watched the surfers by from our bar stools.
The place is very quite. You can see the ocean from their deck. It is a great place to have your morning coffee. Also, the sunsets from the deck are amazing!
The only problem was leaving. We didn't want to go! We look forward to returning when we have the next chance.

Romancing Crash Boat Beach
I like to travel, and nothing is as important as finding a beautiful, spacious location and place to wind down, after a day of exploring the wonders the island. We were truly impressed by all the details Beach Bum Paraiso had to offer. First, its cleanliness, the artwork, the very comfy beds and siting areas. It was decorated elegantly, and yet we felt right at home. All we truly needed was our clothes and personal items. The communication between the owners and us was very pleasant and they quickly responded to my questions we may have had. They made us feel at ease from the beginning. We loved the pools particularly the Infinity pool? Our stay was not long enough and wish to return in a near future. "Thank You" for sharing your warm and stylish condo.

Vacation paradise the perfect home away from home.
It is very quiet. So impeccally clean, you're spoiled. I felt right at home. The owners have put their time and effort into their luxurious condo. We loved being close to the beach, restaurants and of course our family. We look forward to renting again. After six days here we ventured to Pena Mar in Farjado no comparison to Beach Bum Vacation Paradise.

Best oasis EVER!!
I wanted an authentic Puerto Rican experience without being in a seriously touristy area, like San Juan. So I chose this condo and was blown away by my experience.
It felt incredibly luxurious, but also very comfortable. Everything was decorated beautifully and was impeccably clean and pristine.
The coquis would sing me to sleep every night, and I could spend the day at one of the most beautiful pools I've ever seen. My pictures made everyone jealous of my vacation, and I can't wait to go back for more. I'll only stay here as I felt ridiculously safe and fell in love with the area.
If you want a once in a lifetime experience for a very reasonable price, I highly suggest you stay here.

Beaach Bum Vacation Paraiso: An awesome experiece by the ocean!
This was the most quiet place I've ever visited in the whole island. At times, I didn't even noticed it was the Christmas season! Not to mentioned some of the neighbors, whether short or long term were very friendly and made sharing the common areas a real treat!
I will definitely come back to the island and/or to the particular condo! I think that if you wish to enjoy the weather, beauty and relaxing atmosphere of Puerto Rico without the traffic hassle of its major cities, you ust come to this city which it has its own airport!
The condo had everything and more than we needed and use! From the kitchen to the balcony where we spent so many mornings and afternoons watching the ocean and letting the sun set and rise at will. Rain never bothered us and yet made an incredible spectacle! Comfortable drive to anywhere one needed to go for fun, sightseeing and even food supplies.
Nearby one can find lost of places to eat, from upscale places like Zazones to some panaderias that sell sandwhiches, 4 Lunas Martini, bar and Restaurant. The beach is within walking distance, 60 minutes walk round trip! YES!!! That close!!! You can swim, you can snorkel, rent a "yola" (boat) to take you beyond the beach area. If you are lucky you can find the Jet-sky and rent it by the hour!!! If you are into golf, there is a Golf Course within five minutes drive, a little beyond there, the Wilderness and Surfer's beach!!! In town, which is within 10 minutes of here, offers more upscale restaurants, and of course its Rompeolas beach!!!
We felt like we were home and never heard from the owner, even after we left!
