Situated near the Pyrenees Ariege, our charming farmhouse (built in 1786) is set in gardens, fields and forest.
The calm and sweetness of the surrounding nature make Roudeille Domaine ideal setting for rest and relaxation. Depending on the period of your stay, you can admire the sunflower fields, observe animals such as red squirrels, deer and many varieties of birds and butterflies, or enjoy the fresh fruits of our garden - cherries, figs, walnuts ...
The Domaine de Roudeille is also the ideal starting point to discover this region of France, perhaps less known but fascinating. Toulouse, Carcassonne, Narbonne, Andorra and Spain are easily accessible destinations for a day trip. The region also provides a wide selection of closest walks: medieval villages, Cathar castles, hiking, caves, etc.

At the end of August, we had a great stay at Domaine La Roudeille! Sallyann and Barry are a lovely couple who made us immediately feel at home. Although we booked 2 separate (bed)rooms, it more felt like an appartment because we had our own entrance and nice terrace at the back of the farmhouse. We also appreciated the "library", the cleanliness of the rooms and the dinner which we booked upon our late arrival. The kids had a great time taking care of the chickens and the goats, we all enjoyed the swimming-pool, the peace and quiet of the region and above all Sallyann's and Barry's hospitality!

Sallyann and Barry thank you for the warm welcome, great rooms, and fabulous food. Despite the weather we had a terrific time. The rooms are spacious, light and clean. Plenty of hot water with good pressure in the shower and the views from each room are wonderful. It was great to meet the chickens who provided our breakfast eggs and of course the goats. Next time we hope to be able to enjoy a swim in the inviting looking swimming pool! However, sitting by the fire in the lounge room was a great compensation. We will be back!
