This was perfect for our friends getaway celebrating 20 years of friendship! The only note i would make is that we ended up not being able to find a way to walk to the beach. The drive was short and lovely, but there is no good entry if you are walking!

Great home to share a beautiful time with family! We had our two year old (we were celebrating her birthday) and this was the best location. Easy access to beaches, gaming center for a fun family night, close to grocery stores annd restaurants and pool on site and very close drive to the beach. Quiet and safe neighborhood and very friendly neighbors. We felt at home, thank you!!!

We stayed here between Christmas and New Years and had a wonderful vacation.
The condo was very clean and the 6 of us had plenty of room. Many terraces to relax on and was fun to see fireworks in all directions at midnight as 2024 began!
The place looks the same in real life as it does in the pictures and while the double security checkpoints to get in slowed us down a little, it was no problem at all.
Pool was very nice. It was a little tricky to find the beach past the Embassy Suites, but was nice once we got there. Host was great - would definitely recommend for others that want to stay a little outside of San Juan.

Ample and very comfortable house at a golf resort in Dorado. We stayed for a week in a family vacation with teens/kids and it was the ideal place. The rooms were very comfortable, with en-suite bathrooms and working A/C. The kitchen and BBQ worked perfectly. We only missed some more crockery as we were 8 people. We very much enjoyed the pool and the pickleball court

We had a great stay at the villa! The location was great, the rooms were amazing with balconies on every floor and the pool was right across the street. Communication with Carlos was easy and i always received a speedy response. Great overall stay.

The photos do not do justice to the place. Its roomy and well equipped with everything needed. Super clean and with all the amenities of being home. kitchen is fully stocked with all the utensils to do dinners for lots of guest. Rooms are large and each of them with their own bathroom. Amenities in Dorado del Mar are more than sufficient with lots of restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies, just name it. My daughter celebrated her birthday with a couple of friends and they had a blast. Carlos is a joy to work with. Highly recommended

Excellent property! Comfortable, clean, quiet. Patio area super cozy with BBQ. Pool right in front. Beach access 10min walk but wagon provided to take snacks, drinks etc. Beach chairs available at the hotel area (employees do not ask).

My family and I came to the island for a family reunion. As a child I grew up in Villas de Playa I & II which family and to be able to come back as an adult with m kids and share a part of my childhood meant everything. The property is beautiful never mind the surrounding areas. Carlos and Scott are great host and I can’t wait to come back again.

The property is very nice, spacious, and exactly like the listing. It is a great place to have a peaceful vacation. As other reviewers mentioned, the security gates to enter the neighborhood are kind of a pain. Would be an ideal spot for a remote work trip where you weren’t coming in and out as often. Everything in the space was clean and easy with standard checkout requirements, nothing over the top. They provide beach towels which was very useful also. Carlos also provided recommendations for where to eat, private chefs, and other places that may be nice to visit.

Good property
Modern well maintained property. Would recommend as one of the better developments in the Dorado area. Would be even better if the golf course was open. Good walking trails and pet friendly. Host very responsive. Car is a necessity.

Will stay here again!
The photos do not do this place justice it is beautiful and spacious. We were a family of 10 adults and we never felt like we were on top of each other. There are little touches of art that are so pleasing that give this Villa a wonderful feeling. We would stay here again!

Really awesome place to stay. It was comfortable, spacious and provide activity area for teens to stay entertained(pool, basketball, tennis, etc.). Also accessible to stores, restaurants, etc. . Definitely would stay there again. My family and me enjoyed it.

Very nice place an excellent value
The property is location on same road as the embassy suites in Dorado. It is a duel gated community, very safe. The villa is located on the grounds of a closed golf course. The kitchen has new appliances and worked we’ll our needs. We had 4 couples sharing the home. I would enjoy staying here again.

Bachelorette Party of 10
I was the Maid Of Honor for my best friends Bachelorette party and this villa was perfect. My group of 10 girls was fun but respectful looking for a place that was cozy but beautiful and Carlos’ villa was perfect. I texted him often leading up to ensure the recent earthquakes hadn’t affected our ability to stay, and he was always responsive and reassuring.

Exceeded the expectation!
You can't begin to appreciate the beauty of the property from the pictures online. We went for a friends wedding nearby. I can't remember if it was noted but there are 2 gates to gain access to the community where the house is located. You will have to identify yourself for every exit/entry. This was a great location for our needs and would recommend all future guests to book if designated dates available.

We're coming back
We're originally from PR and now live in the states. My family and I couldn't wait to come back home for the holidays and some fun in the sun. We have always generally liked the area of Dorado because it's a beautiful, small town that has easy access to anything you'll need during a vacation.
We already knew we would be in for a treat because of the location but then we got to this property and were quite impressed. The place was clean, beautifully decorated, and fit all 8 of us perfectly. Every single room has it's own bathroom. There is at least one comfortable, furnished terrace in every single level of the house (4 levels total). Everything on the listing is pictured exactly as it is in the house. There are two TV's in the house (Master Bedroom and Family Room) which was great because the encouraged the little ones to be much more interested in playing outdoors (pool, terrace, walk around the safe/gated neighborhood).
The property manager was sensible to leave behind nonperishables (salt, pepper, steak seasoning, cans of beans). The fridge had enough bottled water for a day or so as well as local beer (1 per every adult). There was toilet paper in every bathroom, about two rolls of paper towel in the kitchen and every bathroom had travel size lotions and soap. The supermarket (SuperMax) is no more than 5 minutes away, so picking up anything on a pinch is extremely easy. We ordered all of our groceries via supermaxonline.com and requested in-store pickup the day we arrived. Pickup was a breeze and all of our order was correct.
All in all, we really enjoyed our time there. Suffice it to say that a couple of days before we checked out, we were already looking at date availability for December 2020. We can't wait to be back.
Oh and Lilly was the sweetest-she handled are checkin/checkout. She was kind, happy and resourceful every time we reached out to her about random things like how to turn on the TV or "hey - where's the pool key again?"...

We had a wonderful time at Carlos’ property. The house was spacious, well appointed, and sparkling clean. It had everything all the adults and kids needed to enjoy the amenities at the villa. Would definitely stay again and for a longer time!
