We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It had great views and close to pool, beach and restaurants. The only downfall to our stay is that the king bed in the master was really in bad shape and needs replaced. It was very soft and not supportive and any small move made a lot of noise. We decided to leave a day early due to how uncomfortable the bed felt. Also the soft in the living room also needs replaced and not very comfy either but all else was great.

Our room was not very clean upon arriving . The floor were filthy , the drawers in the kitchen were dirty , there was blood on one of the pillow cases and the furniture had clearly not been dusted in quite some time . We’ve stayed at westwinds at least six times and this is the first time I’ve written a complaint .

We enjoyed our stay at the Westwinds. The unit was super clean with very nice upgrades including good furniture and decoration. We slept six comfortably. Great views from every room (no stagnant front non-Gulf 2nd bedroom like many condos in the area). Sofa bed actually wasn't that bad. Only real complaint about the unit I can think of is the water pressure. Very hard to even rinse off in the shower it was so low. Same situation in the bathroom sink. Kitchen was fine though. Balcony: you only get a view forward and toward the East, but it's a large view and so gorgeous that it is fine. Just note you will not get views of the Gulf westward from this unit. SanDestin resort area is just beautiful. Baytowne Wharf across the street is as well including bike rentals and the cute town with about 30 shops/restaurants/bars. Very tourisity but nice. Very crowded on Fri/Sat nights though. That can be good or bad depending on your spirits! Oh and traffic on Hwy. 98 is a total nightmare from 5PM to 7PM just about every night. Do yourself a favor and stay on the beach! The grounds were immaculately clean. Pool was gorgeous. The pool area was not as grand as the pictures showed, but definitely a large beautiful pool and hot tub area. The pool snack bar was a let down. I expected live music and a hip bar area. Instead it was more like a kid's baseball concession stand. Path to the beach was short and kept up nice. Beach spot is not too crowded yet not deserted. Perfect crowd level. Gym is kind of small but typical for a condo in this area.
