The Inn at Sunset Cliffs

Staff was incredibly helpful. Terrell helped me get checked in and even met me outside when I got there to insure I got a parking space. The girl who was working when I checked was also amazing, though I didn't catch her name. All of them were very friendly and professional. Their knowledge of the area helped me find a great little beach and the exact kind of food I was looking for. They were very accommodating with requests as well. The views were absolutely breathtaking. I got to watch the sunset over the ocean right there from the hotel patio, then I woke up early to watch the full moon set as well. Location was great. Good beaches and good food within walking distance. Downtown SD isn't too far either. Everyone in the area was super friendly.

The room was a bit small, but really not too small. There was no desk in the room, but I was able to request a chair and use one of the bedside tables as one, so that worked out anyway. If you're staying on the bottom floor you should expect to hear movement from the rooms above.

Issue with ants in the bathroom. Mattress very worn and soft.

The view is beautiful and I enjoyed the seating area. Service was amazing!

The bed mattresses could use an update. The rooms were very small and I did not like the blinds/door covering used. It felt like it was very easy to see in to someone's room. The rooms could also use an update. I understand price point of the place, but I have stayed at better quality places for less.
