From the minute you walk in the door at the Sea Glass Cottage you will know you made the right decision. The cottage is beautifully furnished and very comfortable with its large Lanai and beautifully landscaped yard. It's definitely a welcomed treasure to the Poipu Beach area. The home offers two master suites with large walk-in showers, plush king beds, ample closets, smart TVs and access to the double outdoor shower. Step out through the indoor shower to the outdoor shower to shower under the star filled Hawaiian sky. Come spend time on the spacious covered lanai, which opens up to the indoor spaces through a folding glass wall that allows the indoor and outdoor spaces to truly become one. Eat at the outdoor dining table and relax in the cool trade winds while catching a glimpse of our beautiful Hawaiian waters or watching the widescreen TV in the living room. The cottage’s gourmet kitchen is equipped with a gas range, Kitchen Aid appliances, granite countertops, open shelving and a Keurig for your favorite hot drinks. Everything you could possibly think of needing on vacation, this house has it. It’s beautifully decorated, comfortable and is in a perfect location for daily excursions, morning sunrises with a cup of coffee, and evening turtle watching. I like to cook, and this kitchen had everything I needed for every meal. Our family will be eager to return!

We brought my parents to Kauai (in their late 70s). This was a very comfortable home for all of us and very convenient to the beach, sea life, restaurants, and other sites. The amenities provided are perfect for beach days. The accordion doors are on point for evening games, dinner, or reading.

Place lives up to its pictures. Perfect place for 2 couples. 3 houses from the beach. The sliding glass doors were open the whole time to give you a perfect indoor/outdoor living space. Bedrooms are great. Kitchen has everything thing you need. Highly recommend to everyone.

This house exceeded all our expectations: it's modern, conveniently located near the beach, and impeccably designed. The enchanting outdoor space was the perfect spot for our morning coffee and served as our gathering place to plan our day's adventures. Moreover, the kitchen had everything you need and even more, making it a joy to prepare meals together. Everything in this house was very well thought out for convenience and pleasure! We're already in the process of making plans to return to this wonderful retreat one day. We enjoyed The Sea Glass House for a short get-away with longtime friends. The house was everything we hoped for: modern, close to the beach, designed beautifully such that 4 adults all had plenty of space. The wifi- was good and needed as, let’s face it, a few work emails crept in. The show stopper was the lanai and window wall! This wonderful outdoor space was perfect for a morning cup of coffee and hangout space to gather and plan the day. We are making plans to return! Thank you for this beautiful and special island home!

LOCATION, LOCATION. This modern standalone one-story house is only a block from Poipu Beach. We enjoyed observing the Hawaiian turtles coming onto the beach and resting from dusk to dawn. We also observed Monk Seals lounging during the day on the beach. It was a popular snorkeling area in the protected bay. Popular Brennecke's and Puka Dog are across from the beach. The property is stocked with a beach wagon and beach chairs and towels.
GREAT FLOOR PLAN. The floor plan was perfect for two adult couples with 2 king bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. Each bathroom has a walk-in shower that also has direct access to a private outdoor shower to conveniently wash off sand and sea. The bedrooms each have window air conditioners and ceiling fans that we turned on at night and they quickly cooled the sleeping areas. The kitchen was very well stocked with cookware, plastic containers and the pantry also was well stocked with condiments, plastic wrap and aluminum foil, etc. We used the propane grill and a spare tank in kept on premises. When not exploring the island, we enjoyed our morning coffee and evening refreshments lounging on the large lanai which always had a nice breeze. We enjoyed our meals "at home" on the lanai dining area.
We had one incident where a smoke detector alarm went off and the local property manager was quick to install a new battery.
This is a lovely place and I highly recommend it for a group of four.

From the location of the property, to the property itself, this home is perfect. This home sits on a quiet street and is steps to the beach. The house is extremely clean and is well suited for a family of 4 or 2 couples. The front porch that opens to the inside is just paradise. Don't look any further, you will love this house as much as my family and I did. We will be back!

The location and comfort of this property were perfect for our group of four adults. It was an easy walk to beautiful Poipu Beach each day, and we had everything we needed for enjoying several hours on the beach. We especially enjoyed sitting on the lovely and comfortable deck, and we spent pretty much all of each evening talking and playing cards there. We visited at a particularly busy time, but this home was a great choice for us and provided a private and cozy respite at the end of the day.

I rented Seaglass Cottage for me and my 15 year old daughter. We enjoyed our stay so much! The beach cottage was exactly as advertised and even better in person. This is a perfect place for two couples or a family of four as well. The cottage is located on a super quiet and safe street which was important to me. Meticulously decorated and brand new, it’s one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. It’s very close to the beach….about a three min walk to two different types of beaches. One is larger surf for boogie boarding and one is smaller waves and perfect for snorkeling or floating. Poipu beach area is super cute and not too crowded. The charming town of Koloa is nearby (5-8 min drive) and it is so cute! Tons of little shops and restaurants and a small grocery store that has just about everything.
We hope to be able to come back one day! Thanks for a lovely stay.

Property was amazing! Just as described, and location was perfect. We could walk to the beach every morning and see the turtles and monk seals. Snorkeling was great right off the beach and we loved Puka Dog!! Would definitely recommend!

Cute, clean and updated beach cottage! walking distance to beach and restaurants. The cottage had everything we needed! We really enjoyed sitting on the porch each morning enjoying or coffee and i the evenings having a glass of wine and playing cards.

The property was exactly as listed and wonderfully appointed. The lanai made for an excellent retreat from the sun and provided many nights of relaxation. My husband and I have been vacationing on Kauai since the 70’s and started bringing our kids here in the late 80’s. We’ve stayed in condos, hotels and houses. The Sea Glass Cottage might just be my favorite “home away from home.” The owners obviously have great eyes for detail as everything has been extremely well thought out. The two suites were perfect for me and my husband; our son and his wife. The kitchen was well equipped, the living room and dining area comfortable. The sliding wall of glass enabling effortless access to the lanai area was unexpected and quite stunning. The house is very well situated a short half block from Brenneke’s, and easily within walking distance of the beach. The owners have thoughtfully provided everything needed for a beach day: beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels. When we reluctantly left this past Saturday we all agreed we’d happily return.

This is a wonderful property for any Kauia vacation. Property was true to the pictures and posting. Front porch was a favorite spot to enjoy any kind of weather, and the house was extremely well supplied with kitchen supplies, spices, first aid stuff, books, games, etc. Highly recommended.

Sea Glass Cottage was the very best. Its location is within walking distance to the beach, the cottage was clean and had so many special details. The lanai is as great as they get! This beach cottage is seemingly brand new, well designed, and literally steps away from the beach! Parking is easy in a dedicated driveway. You're a few houses up the street from Poipu Park and Beach, which offers several types of water/waves and turtle/seal sightings daily. The lanai is spacious and relaxing and you're a very short drive to everything Poipu has to offer. Beach equipment and towels for 4ppl are provided. Highly recommend!

This house had everything we needed & more. My husband & I traveled with my sister. So nice to have two king suites. The lanai was Heaven. We had the sliding glass doors open whenever we where home. Made the living space lucious. We showered outdoors the entire week. Poipu beach had fabulous snorkeling. A great place to visit Waimea Canyon & Princeville from. Check out Lydgate farms if you want to learn more about chocolate. We had a wonderful time

1) Fitted Sheets on the beds need to be replaced.....they don't fit and are wrinkled all of the time because of this.
2) Need a fly swatter
3) Need plastic cups so you can take liquids to the beach
4) For some very strange reason the shower in the south bedroom leaks water when the clothes washer runs.
5) There are 2 sprinkler related problems that I relayed to your property manager.

We’ve stayed in at least a dozen plus properties in Kauai from hanalei to Kekaha. This was our first house rental in poipu. Tina and Beth’s place is incredible… the location steps to the beach; sliding doors that open to a beautiful lanai that connected indoor with outdoor living; the beautiful double outdoor showers; the perfect setup in the kitchen for home cooked meals; impeccable cleanliness inside AND outside… all in all, we loved our stay. Looks like no expense was spared when it came to decor- really high end everything: door knobs, cabinet pulls, lighting, shades, swivel chairs, cookware… just incredible. Mahalo for such a thoughtful and generous place!
