Santa Teresa is on the Nicoya peninsula in Costa Rica and offers an abundance of activities for travelers from all corners of the world. Villa Lombok is located just above Playa Hermosa with stunning views overlooking the beach, surfers and exotic jungle. We cater to the discerning traveler who enjoys a personalized service and privacy during their stay. An ideal getaway for family or friends. The house is in a desirable location nestled in the hills within a gated property. We have another fully equipped one bedroom villa available for rent if needed. Come and experience where the jungle meets the sea and tropical beauty abounds. Enjoy the private pool with amazing views looking down over the jungle and to Playa Hermosa. The garden has space for sunbathing surrounded by exotic plants of bougainvillea, frangipani, cacti and palm trees. A large patio area has comfortable outdoor seating, sunbeds and outdoor shower. This is where you will spend most of your time relaxing, swimming, reading and simply enjoying listening to the waves and the sounds of the jungle. The spacious open plan living area has dining for six, separate half bathroom, TV and sofa area, fully equipped kitchen with six hobs and large oven. The kitchen comes with large fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, kettle and blender. The house has SKY TV, wifi, air conditioning in the bedrooms, ceiling fans throughout, washing machine and dryer. Huge sliding doors disappear fully to open up the space and lead you to the outdoor areas. The house has been tastefully furnished and decorated to a high standard with imported products for maximum comfort. The master bedroom is located upstairs with a king size bed, fitted wardrobe, safe, luxurious bathroom with his and hers sinks, huge walk in shower, hair dryer and a glorious balcony with comfy seating and pillows to enjoy a glass of wine whilst admiring the incredible far reaching ocean views. The double bedroom downstairs has an ensuite bathroom with views across the pool and sea beyond. Both bedrooms have air conditioning, ceiling fans, luxury thread count cotton sheets and orthopedic mattresses. Bathroom towels, pool towels and toiletries are all supplied upon arrival. The property has an electric gated entrance. Ample parking space is at the rear of the villa. A 4x4 is most definitely recommended for your stay. There are many activities to enjoy in the local area should you wish to leave the villa - surfing, kayaking, yoga, fishing, stand up paddle boarding, swimming, horse riding, nature walks, bird watching, golf, snorkelling, tide pools, kids classes, Tortuga island day trips, Montezuma waterfalls and Cabo Blanco nature reserve. The restaurants in and around Santa Teresa offer international cuisine at a very high standard. Just minutes by car is the famous sushi restaurant Kojis and one of our personal favorites, Couleur Café. The villa is well appointed. Communication with the owners was smooth and a brief personal interaction was pleasant and very helpful. We loved the setting of the property - it was safe and surrounded by nature. We enjoyed watching and listening to the local fauna. Besides several bird species, we got to see capuchins and howler monkeys, Halloween crabs, a resident cane frog.. The drawback was that there is quite a bit of construction going on in the vicinity. For most of our stay it wasn't a big deal because we were usually away during the day. Unfortunately, I sprained my ankle the second to last day at Villa Lombok and needed to stay at the house. Despite it being a Saturday, there were large trucks going back and forth right by the house all morning. I would still highly recommend Villa Lombok for anyone who prefers more secluded places. Plus Playa Hermosa has cleaner coastal waters than Santa Teresa.

If you’re looking for the best place to stay, look no further! This is the place! What an amazing ocean view, you can stay all your afternoon having the best time seen the ocean. The villa is well equipped and have all of what you need to have a great vacation. It’s located north of Santa Teresa, but in no time you will be at downtown. The two bedrooms are very spacious and has everything that you need. Highly recommended to book! You will never regretted!

We had a great time at Villa Lombok. The location is great, not too far from Playa Hermosa and a short drive into town. The house itself is modern and well-equiped and the view from the house is amazing. The hosts were super helpful with recommendations in the area and generally helped with anything we needed including helping us get ATVs, making reservations and more. Highly recommended!

Overall, we had a superb time here. The Villa is in a great location - down the road from Santa Teresa, but still drivable if you want to head there for restaurants, but far enough away to feel secluded. We arrived during a large storm, at night, which makes the drive up to the house quite nervy, but it was well worth it once you see the views in the morning. The Villa is close to a local 'surf friendly' beach (Hermosa), and whilst one of the access roads had been washed out, we could still drive around in approx. 5 mins. The property has all the main amenities you would expect - washer/dryer, AC etc. The only issue we had was with a couple of power outages, which meant the gate could not open/close until we found the manual override. Overall, a great stay and a Scarlett was an excellent host.

Wonderful home to stay while visiting the area. Our family of four had a great time here. Thanks to our hosts(Scarlett and Lincoln)for your hospitality. While here we had visits from howler monkeys and lots of birds, also we were able too see whales!! Recommend that you definitely have a 4x4 vehicle.

- Location was perfect for our family: 3 min to playa Hermosa and main road, while "tucked away" in the mountain, surrounded by beautiful forest, w monkeys, birds... - House has everything you need, great views; very functional - Lincoln and Scarlett were super nice and helpful - one thing to watch: may lose some privacy in pool area w new house/construction on the side - overall, great stay

My wife and I just returned from two weeks in CR. We stayed for five nights in Villa Lombok and would definitely return - the house is very modern, walls of glass with extraordinary views from all rooms, especially the master bedroom and from the pool. We loved hearing the sound of the ocean, had visits from monkeys in the nearby trees, parrots, macaws, woodpeckers, and other birds. Santa Teresa is definitely worth the trek and this villa is absolutely wonderful! Best to rent a 4x4.

This a very nice property located in Playa Hermosa, which is one of the beaches that conform the area called Santa Teresa. Definitely the most beautiful of them all. It is a white sand beach, not very crowded, great waves if you like surfing, yet suitable for everyone, from kids to grown-ups. The house is located near from beach and has excellent ocean view. You can even hear the ocean from the pool deck area. Much better if you have a car since it is a little bit up in the mountain. It is located in a street that does not have a lot of traffic like the main road, which makes it a quiter place that the houses on main road. The house has everything you might need nearby. Supermarket, lots of great restaurants, rentals for surfboards, tours, etc. The property is nicely decorated and very well equiped. It has everything from linens, beach towels, kitchenware, BBQ, good Wi-Fi, TV. At check in the owner was waiting for us in the property and showed us the place. They were reachable at any time and helped us with everything we needed. We would definitely come back! Highly recommended.

Had a wonderful time staying at Villa Lombok. The two-bedroom house was perfect for our family of four and the pool was used many times per day! Scarlett and Nick were great hosts, engaged and helpful. The property was well maintained and we felt very comfortable and safe there. The views were incredible so we could watch the waves and know what to anticipate with each days surfing. Playa Hermosa, Santa Theresa and Play Carmen are all accessible but it was nice to come back up the hill to quiet afterward. Highly recommended and if we can we will be back next year.

Tony, Stephanie, and Mary spent six beautiful days at Villa Lombok near Santa Teresa in Costa Rica. Our hosts Scarlett and Linc were readily available to assist us in providing us what we needed and in giving us valuable information to make our stay very pleasant. The area is idyllic. We spent a great deal of time enjoying the pool. The accommodations were spotless. Our only concern was the difficult roads in the area. A vehicle with four wheel drive is a must. We highly recommend this beautiful home for a very relaxing getaway.
