Located in Silver City, this attractive cottage for $115 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. The Carriage House Cottage is nestled behind the David Abraham House, one of Silver City's premier historic homes, owned by Jim & Tricia Reynolds. The Carriage House was built around 1917 and was indeed originally a carriage house with attached servants' quarters. Carriage House Cottage was remodeled in 2000 as a retirement cottage and is furnished with may family antiques and memorabilia. Some elements of the original carriage house are still in evidence, both in the interior and on the exterior of the Cottage. The Cottage is both cozy and functional. Guests feel right at home from the moment they walk into the Cottage. This welcoming vacation rental is in a quiet, restful area of a historic part of Silver City. The Cottage has it's own patio with parking directly in front of it. Next to the Cottage is a fruit orchard and well as a grape arbor. For privacy the back portion of the property is surrounded by a brick wall. It is located within easy walking distance of historic downtown Silver City with all its' unique antique shops, art galleries, restaurants and shops. It is such a relaxing, cozy, and quiet place! The large, firm bed with lots of space and the Jacuzzi was extremely relaxing while looking up at the stars! Very pet-friendly! Talked to the owner the day prior and had a great conversation.

I wanted see more of New Mexico and had never been to the quaint old town of Silver city. It is very walkable and interesting. The cottage was close to the sites. The cottage was fully equipped and warm and cozy. I found it very comfortable. Coffee was even provided. Along with some sweets. Comfortable beds and nice size bath.

We had a beautiful stay. It was a little cold outside in the mornings! The Carriage house is so cute and the main house architecture is beautiful!Silver City has a lot to offer. Little Toad Creek Brewery and Distillery was our favorite place to eat and drink! Love the atmosphere! Okay he Big Ditch park is great walks by paths. We went to the Catwalk and Rockhound State Park! Recommend both!

We enjoyed our cottage stay. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. The check in and check out was very easy and Tricia touched base via message on the first day. We had hoped to explore and walk to downtown Silver City, however, the shops closed by 5 and we were out exploring Gila Cliff Dwellings and Catwalk Recreation area during the day and missed the opportunity. Plus the walk was not as easy as anticipated with hills to contend with although we did drive down the first evening and had dinner. We stayed before Memorial Day so I assume shops may stay open later during normal Summer season. Overall we had a great stay!

The "Carriage House Cottage" is a spacious one bedroom, one bath home in the back yard of a large older (1880's) home. It is in easy walking distance to Gough Park (Blues Festival) and Bullard St. (central to quint stores). The in keeper, Tracie, is a delightful lady, who graciously put up with our many inane questions. We will definitely stay there the next time we visit Silver City.

Well located a few blocks from the small “downtown” area of Silver City NM, this house is a renovated, comfortable 1 bedroom 1 bath place to stay. Kitchen is well appointed, comfortable sitting areas inside and out, and a short walk to sightsee, eat, and shop. It is on a rise, and my wife who has some knee problems couldn’t walk comfortably in some directions, but a 2 minute drive would get you to the shops/restaurants nearby. Host was very helpful. Description on vrbo was accurate.

My Husband and I booked this rental for our day hikes. Very clean rental, off street parking, comfortable and the king bed was heavenly! The hot tub was perfect temperature set and ready to use at our likings. Cute town! We were very happy with our stay and would happily come back.
