Nestled in West Cape May, this charming house for $695 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Beach Box free right on Beach/Cove Beach RATED #! AC Free Sheets on all Beds Additional Cleaning efforts If you want to enjoy Cape May in a beautiful location, The Eldredge House is one of the most historic homes in the region. You get country charm and more privacy than most rental homes, but with modern, updated amenities. Another thing that sets it apart from many rentals is the fact that ALL the rooms have a private bath. You get 4 bedrooms and 4 baths! Four bedrooms also have a flat screen TV's and the entire property has wireless internet. The Bonus bedroom is a small sun porch that has a full size futon available in it. 3 bedrooms are en-suite Helpful in the busy season is the private drive to lots of off-street parking. Located an easy walk (4/10's of a mile) from Cape May's most beautiful beach, the Cove, you also get some quiet and privacy away from the huge crowds. The Cove Beach is known for its views of Cape May's famous lighthouse. To make things convenient, we provide a beach box, complete with chairs and umbrella that you can keep with your things right at the ocean. FREE that's over 150 value if rented. There are lots of places to hang out. The home offers two living rooms, one with a large flat screen tv, and the other for hanging out with friends, relaxing or reading a book. The dining room is also located with easy views of nature. Or if you enjoy cooking out, there is a gas grill and an outdoor seating area on a charming stone patio... again, surrounded by lots of flowers. This charming home is a perfect getaway for creating family memories... We look forward to sharing it with you in its premiere season! Within steps are three favorite restaurants, a gourmet cheese shop, Coffee Bars, as well as a country grocery. Convenient and charming... and again, an easy stroll to the center of all the activity. For your protection never wire money to any rental property. We will never ask for you to wire, only accepting personal checks or via VRBO/Home Away payments, and we ask that reservations needs to be confirmed with a phone call. Be safe of Scams out there. Charming Comfortable House
We had a wonderful time. The house is great for a large group - lots of space and bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped. It is convenient to have the parking in back of house. The neighborhood streets off Broadway are beautiful and quiet.
The walk to the beach is about 15 min. We did some shuttling of people to beach which worked well. Having bikes is useful too.
We had a lot of fun and a memorable 4th of July (great fireworks viewing from the beach).

Beautiful Cape May Stay
Beautiful home in Cape May, with all the charm and antiquity of the Victorian era. This home had everything we needed, phenomenal WiFi, and a great location. Todd is an amazing host, knowledgeable of the history of the home, city, events, and was friendly and available our whole trip. Thanks for a great stay.

Wonderful house and stay
We spent a week here at the end of August 2020 and it was an amazing time. The house is beautiful, well cared for and has a ton of charm. The spaces are super clean and the furniture is comfortable. If you are looking for a house to call home for your vacation, this is it. I love the feel of an antique home and this place does not disappoint.
I stayed here with my husband, 8 year old son and mother-in-law and we all loved it. The location is perfect if you are looking to be out of the fray a bit. It was close enough to get to everything, but the block was nice and quiet. We ended up driving everywhere, but if you rent a bike you’d be OK too. There are also a lot of places nearby to eat. Having off-street parking was such a boon.
Todd was a super host in all senses. He was so responsive and helpful with recommendations. We had a situation occur mid-week and he was right there to fix the issue. Due to COVID, we weren’t really able to interact face to face, but we talked via text and phone and he was delightful. I would not hesitate to stay here again. It was a fun and relaxing time! 5 stars!

Todd was a fantastic, responsive host. The house was clean. It was awesome not having to bring linens. There were 9 of us in our multi-generational family, including a two year old. There was plenty of room. We hope to be able to return.

Wonderful stay, property manager couldn't be anymore accommodating!
We just got back from our stay at the Eldredge House with a family of grandparents, teens, adults and a 2yo - and it was a great place for everyone. As many have reviewed, the farmers market on Tuesday is a delicious treat and relaxing evening. It's only minutes driving to the Beach Plum farm - and a short walk into town. The beach box came in super handy, and prior to checking in Todd added more umbrellas to ensure there was plenty of shade! I could rant on and on, but if you like a little of history and charm, you can't go wrong.

Our family had a great time at Eldredge House. It was so hot the week we were there and the AC in the house was great! Kitchen was perfectly equipped as were all the bedrooms. Thanks Todd for a great stay! We’ll be back.

Great Stay in Cape May Again!
we love this place, its historic but has all the modern amenities we need. TV's in every bedroom is a great feature and are kids and we love it. I love the off street parking. We love it here.

We really love the historic Eldredge House, it's so great for us to live in a part of history and not just your typical vacation rental. They home dates back to 1778 and has modern updates but still maintains its historic character. Well worth a visit when in Cape May.

Awesome Home close to everything , Great Off Street Parking too
We had a great stay at The Eldredge House in Cape May. It is just a ten minute walk to the beach and very close to shops , coffee bars and great restaurants. We liked that every bedroom had its own bathroom and flat screen tv with expanded cable made it extra nice. We will be visiting again very soon.

Lovely home!
We had a wonderful experience. Todd was extremely receptive to our needs and offered great suggestions. The house has everything you could want and more. We used the grill one night and used the crock pot another. The house was about a 10 minute walk from the beach. Easy to bike ride to many destinations. Close to wineries, breweries, and a distillery. Beach box was a plus as there were many chairs for all of our adults. Overall, this place is a gem!
Empenada Mama's and Cape May Crab Cakes at the Farmer's Market are delicious and a must do. Loved the music there as well.

Had reservations about young children in our party but Todd made our stay so relaxing and wonderful. This House is well stocked with every tool if cooking in. Todd is so helpful with events and info for the Cape and very accessible if you need to contact (which happened when I locked myself out omg! The house is lovely and we loved everything. Great beds!!

Always the First Choice
Having stayed at the Eldredge more times than I can count, I would undoubtedly give it 5 stars. Always beautiful inside and out, close to great restaurants, and a quick walk to the beach.
The owner Todd is about as good as they come. Nice, helpful, and always willing to offer advice to help you maximize your stay.

Very Nice Vacation in Cape May
We have a great time staying at The Eldredge House. Having 4 Bathrooms really made things nice for the family. The large and beautifully landscaped property was even more special and our outdoor picnics were as memorable as our time on the beach. The beach box was very nice to have as we left all our beach gear there and just took a stroll back home everyday without carrying a thing. I like being on the quiet side of town, but close to everything. The home operates as an inn during the rest of the year so its very nicely decorated with TV's in each bedroom. We love Cape May.

Charming Home/Great Experience
We so enjoyed our vacation in this charming and comfortable home. We came with our adult children and it was nice to each have our own bedroom/bath. We felt the listing information was accurate. There was plenty of room to spread out or enjoy each other's company in the various sitting areas in the home (choice of two Iiving rooms or sunroom) as well as outside seating and tables. The owner was gracious and helpful regarding recommendations and directions relating to restaurants/local activities or any of our other questions. There is a wonderful restaurant right across the street; we enjoyed visiting the local farmer's market as well as biking out 4th street to some local farmer's markets. We appreciated the use of a well-stocked beach box and found the beach to be an easy walk. The home was clean and well maintained. We look forward to returning next summer and would readily recommend this property to friends/family!!
