This was our second stay at Marian's lakeside cottage. She is the consummate hostess. The cottage is beautiful... inside and out. We loved staying in this cozy, 2 bedroom cottage. It had everything we could possibly ever need for our trip to southern Maine. The location was close to everything we wanted to do. The hostess was so kind and accommodating and even baked us delicious muffins during our stay! We would highly recommend staying here!

If you’re looking for a little R&R, this cottage was a gem. After sending our youngest off to college, we were looking for someplace to start this new chapter of our life and the early morning serenity was just was we needed, taking full advantage with our paddle boards and kayaks. We also rented jet skis one day to Big Sebago and we golfed a beautiful course at Point Sebago. We cannot thank our host enough for making us feel so welcome and simultaneously honoring our privacy. This was a vacation we will treasure.

This is a lovely camp. It's location and grounds make it an exceptional vacation spot. The owner goes out of her way to make feel welcome and always available to assist. Our grandchildren have joined us for all the years we have have vacationed here. They look forward to coming and always ask about the pie and ice cream baked by the owner. Who could ask for more!

The cottage was just as advertised. I loved swimming every morning, even though the lake water was probably in the low 60's. Getaway in Paradise
Returned to this heavenly place for two weeks. We can’t get enough of the serenity of Sebago Lake, sitting on the porch, basking in the sun, listening to the chip chip chip of the chipmunks! Steamed lobsters from Hannafords and visits to surrounding towns, plus the hospitality of our welcoming hostess make for a stress-free getaway. We’ll be back!

What a wonderful time we had during our stay at the cottage! From the warm welcome and
comfortable accommodations - right down to the delicious pie and ice cream so thoughtfully left for us to enjoy. We spent a lot of time taking in the glorious views of the lake on a daily basis, as well as fishing off the pier. Perfection! We are already counting the days until our return visit next year! The cottage is small but comfortable and functions well for our family of four with room to spare. Kids love the loft. The new AC works great! We have rented this cottage for the last three years and have signed on for next year.
The yard is spacious and beautifully planted and the dock and mooring are great.
Inside has a well appointed kitchen and comfy living area with great views.
Close to Portland and North Windham for shopping etc.
Obviously we love this place and are already counting the days until we return next year.

Marian was an excellent hostess! She made us feel welcome and was readily available but not intrusive. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The setting is absolutely gorgeous! We enjoyed the reflection of the changing leaves on the lake. It was so peaceful sitting out by the water in the early morning and in the evening. We took advantage of some of the many hiking trails in the area. Portland and Freeport are each less than an hour away. We enjoyed delicious fresh seafood from Fisherman’s Catch, which is a few minutes from the cottage.What a wonderful, relaxing week!

Beautiful lakeside cottage
Marian is the consummate host! In addition to providing a welcoming blueberry pie and vanilla ice cream along with a cookbook with great ideas for vacation meals, she checked in a couple times to be sure we had everything we needed. The cottage was perfect -- neat and clean, a well-appointed kitchen, spacious bathroom, plenty of space to comfortably sleep a family of 6, and a dock with easy access for swimming and boating. A wonderful vacation!

Amazing trip for our family. Beautiful, clean cottage with all amenities including AC. So many different activities for our young children to do on the property including fishing, sandbox, multiple swimming areas to explore. Thank you for a great stay, Marian! We hope to be back next year!

We had a great time. The property is exactly as pictured. It’s in a beautiful neighborhood with quiet surrounding residence. The property was perfect for our young family to enjoy. Owner was very nice and responsive. Despite her closeness to the property we never felt imposed upon. We stayed at the house during hurricane isaias and the house and property held up very well.

Wonderful Getaway!
Wow, I just got home and already miss being at the lake. It was such a restful and endearing time. Marian is a wonderful and sweet hostess and truly looks after every detail. The property was beautiful, well taken care of and included all the amenities you would need on vacation. It was a great spot for children and adults alike. Wonderful Cabin
This cabin is clean and modern without being oversized. It is perfect for a small family. Modern, well-equipped kitchen. Just-large-enough eating and living areas. All tastefully furnished and decorated including fresh flowers from her gardens. The large yard and numerous gardens are immaculate. It's easy to find your choice of sun or shade most of the day. We enjoyed snorkeling through the boulders around the large dock and on either side of the beach. We saw lots of sunfish, small bass, one huge small-mouth bass and a painted turtle. The mooring was perfect for our small sailboat. The beach was great for landing our kayaks and smaller sailboat. The water entry is a mixture of sand and small stones. We especially enjoyed strumming our ukuleles on the comfortable rocking chairs located on the lawn near the water's edge. The cabin's location on Jordan Bay is quiet during the week with more boat traffic on the weekends. The host is very friendly and helpful. She surprised us with a home-made apple pie and ice cream on our arrival.
