Located in Sandbridge, this attractive house for $1,106 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. This property has 2 separate units (sleeps 18 - 21). The main house is a spacious beach vacation home with pool, hot tub, pool-side cabana (with cable TV, radio and full size refrigerator, 4 stools), private outdoor living space with 2 tables and chairs (11 chairs, 4 Adirondack chairs, 3 lounge chairs) propane grill and second and third level decking to enjoy the warmth of the sun, ocean views and never-ending sounds of the ocean, provides the perfect escape for that book you’ve been meaning to read. This vacation home is ideal for spending time with your family during summer vacations, a family home for the holidays so that your loved ones can share quality time and create life-time memories, planning your wedding on the beach, as a summer weekly vacation home, a winter monthly or seasonal home, personal retreats or business training/conferences, as there are 4 full size bathrooms for your privacy. There are 6 very nice sized bedrooms, 5 in the main house and 1 in the guest cottage. In the main house there are three bedrooms with queen size beds, the other two fun bedrooms have bunk beds; two sets of bunk beds in the green room and one bunk bed in the orange room. There is Cable TV in the living room of the main house and guest house and all bedrooms in both houses have Cable TV. The green bunk bed room also has a DVD player for your children's enjoyment. Our master bathroom is equipped with a hot tub, shower and large sink countertop and private toileting area. There is a washer and dryer in the main house on the second floor. Our kitchen is beautifully remodeled with white cabinets, plenty of black granite countertop space, granite island countertop, full size oven, pantry closet and all the amenities of home (dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, blender, utensils, dishes, serving trays, pans, baking pans). The open floor plan of the kitchen, dining room and living room allows your family/guests to share stories and enjoy each other’s laughter. The guest cottage (sleeps 6) with an entrance that opens onto the pool deck, has a private bedroom with a queen size bed, a living room (both areas with Cable TV), kitchenette (with full size refrigerator), eating area and full size bathroom. The guest cottage has a sofa bed in the living room, with the addition of a day bed and pop-up bed. All of our bedrooms have comfortable and inviting linens, bureaus and/or dressers. we loved our stay at this house. a lot of space , the pool is nice and big . kids had a blast ! very close to the beach (3 min walk). walking distance to ice cream and restaurant . highly recommended.

The property was great for the young kids, but stating that the property is wheel chair accessible was wrong! My daughter could not get in the main house and the bathroom in the small house had a 6” lip to get in the bathroom. The beds were not made and sheets and towels were under the steps to the upstairs, never stayed in a place where we had to make the beds. We killed hundreds of flies

Easy communication with home owner. Everyone enjoyed the outside space. Air conditioning worked great. Easy walk to the beach. Kitchen had a lot of dishes, pots and pan, but sink would not drain. Living room was a little small for the amount of people we had. The two out buildings smelled like pot, I reached out to owners about it. They stated they were aware of the situation and that they had changed air filters and had a purifier running before we got there. They had someone bring another purifier for the remainder of our stay to us on Tuesday.

Our office has started a yearly weekend retreat to the Sandbridge area and this house was a perfect fit for our needs. The bedrooms and bathrooms were sufficent and the addition of the guest cottage was great. It is a little out dated but it was so close to public beach access that we didn't mind. The pool and hot tub were also great to use.

Exceeded expectations in every way. The pool and cabana bar were fantastic. Kitchen was well stocked for easy cooking. There were 10 adults and 4 children. We loved the beach and sight seeing but spent lots of time at the house. Hope to return!

This was our first full family vacation to Virginia Beach and the house in Sandbridge was everything we hoped it would be! The house was just big enough for 11 of us and 2 adults stayed in the guest cottage. We enjoyed taking turns hanging out at the pool or waking the short distance to the beach. It was truly a very relaxing experience and we will definitely be coming back!! We loved our stay at Sandbridge Beach. The area is great- very quiet and about a 5 minute walk to the beach. We walked to the market and gift shops several times as well (and of course for ice cream at Ben & Jerry's). The beach was never crowded. A storm came from the gulf on Tuesday, so red flags were posted warning about swimming for the remainder of the week. We still went shell hunting each day and just watched the ocean and dolphins. We went to OBX and took our grandson to Digger's Dungeon on the way to the H2OBX Waterpark. Felicia was great and answered several pre-trip questions. She also let me know when to expect the people for pool cleaning. There were 11 in our group (7 adults and 4 children) and all agreed this was our favorite beach house rental yet- and we have rented many. The house was clean upon our arrival. My youngest daughter and her family stayed in the guest house, which was perfect with my granddaughter just having her first birthday the week before. They have a 3 year old as well and didn't need to worry about steps. I loved the kitchen on the main floor of the house. This makes a huge difference- we had to get everything up to the third floor in past rentals. Speaking of the kitchen, we had everything needed to do a shrimp boil, omelet breakfasts, cook out hamburgers, do a "street taco bar", etc. We loved the beds and everyone slept well. The pool and hot tub were favorites. Our family will be cruising next year but would love to rent this house again in 2023!

Only a few cons. When we arrived none of the beds were made which was annoying. The beds are old and could use either a mattress pad or new beds in general.

I really wanted to like this place but they were just some issues that were hard to overcome. Upon arrival I noticed none of the beds were made and there was a duffel bag that looked like it had just been dropped off from the prison laundry with a bunch of threadbare, no elastic sheets, some with stains. I contacted the landlord about someone coming to make the bed and she said that the guests job. OK, so if you’re going to have to make the beds bring your own linens because these were frightful. The neighborhood was great, the location was great, the pool was nice, the guest house was nice but the main house just needs some updating. The 30 year old carpet and the old, smelly furniture would be expected possibly on a cheaper place but for $1000 a night I just expected more.

We absolutely love Sandbridge and have been coming back every year. Our now teen kids have made so many memories over the years and 2020 wasn't an exception! Our party consisted of 3 families. Teens and kids took over the first floor bedrooms, while adults took second floor and the cottage. The house could easily fit another family. There was so much space for everyone and having 3 refrigerators was great since we didn't dine out at all and cooked all meals. The heated pool was awesome! Some umbrellas around the pool would be nice as it gets pretty hot, but it didn't bother us much.Location couldn't be better - only one block from the beach, quiet but very close to the market for those times when we ran out of essentials or kids wanted to grab some snacks. We got great clams from a little roadside store along Samdbridge Rd. Highly recommend. And the farm along the same road sells the most wonderful tomato cheese and basil pies which alone are worth coming back to the area...Felicia has been terrific throughout the booking process and our stay. She responded very quickly when we had questions and addressed concerns immediately! The house was very clean upon our arrival, all essentials (coffee filters, soap, hand sanitizer, dishwashing liquid, even disposable gloves) have been provided. The kitchen is stocked with every possible pan and pot with a ton of utensils/cutlery/dishes/glassware. We are very grateful to have had such an amazing host. We are definitely looking forward to the next year and hoping we can come back and stay at the same house.

A group of 16 of us stayed, 8 children 9-7 years old and 8 adults. There are plenty of beds. The beds are very soft, you can decide if that’s your cup of tea. The kitchen barstools are not adequate for the height of the counter top and we found this to be uncomfortable or unusable space. The pool was well maintained during our stay and the kids loved it. They spent hours a day in it. The beach is very close and was nice. Their is a small market near the entrance to sandbridge GET DONUTS!! Felicia is very easy to communicate with. I had issues booking and she was very reassuring and kind. When I saw the 1star review pop up I asked her to elaborate and she was able to ease my mind. Once at the home it was obvious that the review came from an untruthful source. If we were to return to the area I would certainly check the availability of the Beach House again.
