Observe dolphins swimming by, manatees, pelicans diving into the ocean, turtles, turtle nests and baby turtles during the Summer season, many types of birds, gopher tortoises, even crocodiles in the intercostal waterway and bays....nature on your doorstep - an amazing experience that you will treasure forever! Golf carts are the preferred relaxing choice for exploring the island - you have to experience it for yourself! Off island, there are 3 well-stocked Publix grocery stores, both locally-owned and chain restaurants, shops, golf courses, Boca Grande Island nearby, as well as the beautiful, modern Sarasota Mall. Cayo Costa Island and Cabbage Key (where Jimmy Buffet got his inspiration to write "Cheeseburger in Paradise") are only a boat ride away! There is a short 4 min car barge style ferry ride(it is free to drive off) to get your car across from the mainland, so that you can drive your car right to our property - with self check in!
